Hogwarts Wizarding Journey

Chapter 3 Naughty Peeves

"Now, before we all go to bed, let's sing the school song!" cried Dumbledore.

The smiles of other teachers seemed to have froze, which made the freshmen a little confused.

Dumbledore flicked his wand lightly, and a long golden ribbon flew out of the wand, twisting and coiling lines of text like a snake above the high dining table.

"Each one chooses his own tune," said Dumbledore. "Get ready, sing!"

Then all the teachers and students sang loudly:

Hogwarts, Hogwarts, Hogwarts, Hogwarts,

Please teach us knowledge,

Whether we are bald old people

Or a child with a broken knee,

Our minds can accept

some fun stuff.

For now our minds are empty and filled with air,

dead flies and trifles,

teach us some valuable knowledge,

Give us back what we have forgotten,

You just do your best and leave the rest to us,

We will study hard until it turns into dung.

Everyone finished singing the school song.Only the Weasley brothers continued to sing along with the slow melody of the Funeral March.

While Shelley worked hard to develop his musical talents, he secretly admired the courage of the brothers.

Hermione silently stayed away from Shelley, and his singing and "Funeral March" did not show off.

Dumbledore directed the last few bars for them with his wand, and when the song was finished, he applauded the loudest.

"Music," he said, wiping his eyes, "is more charming than anything we do here! It's bedtime now. Let's go back to the dormitories."

After the dinner, the little wizards followed the prefects of their respective colleges back to the exclusive lounge of the college.

Shelley and others followed Gryffindor prefect Percy Weasley around the castle, passing through staircases that could change positions at any time, and passing through many hidden sliding barriers and hanging curtains. The door at the back.

Suddenly, in front of them, a bundle of canes floated in the air.Percy was only one step away from the people behind him, so the people behind him all jumped towards him.

"Oh, why did you stop?"

"Reached?"

Several wizards fell together and got up in frustration.

Shelley reacted quickly and hugged Hermione - preventing her from falling to the ground - and the two of them leaned against the wall on the side of the corridor to steady themselves.

Hermione struggled a few times, but to no avail, so she puffed her face angrily and was quietly held in Shelley's arms.

"I'm fine, hurry...let me go." Hermione's red face revealed her panic at the moment - she was pretending to be calm.

This look is so cute!

"Okay, Hermione." Shelley stood in front of Hermione and looked at the ghost laughing in the air speechlessly.

"It's Peeves," Percy whispered to the first years. "A ghost who likes to play tricks."

In fact, Peeves is not a ghost in the strict sense. He seems to be a spirit caused by some subconscious behavior of Hogwarts students for thousands of years, Shelley thought.

Percy raised his voice again and said, "Peeves - reveal yourself."

He was answered with a loud, harsh, popping sound like a deflating balloon.

"Do you want me to find Bloody Baron?"

With a pop, a dwarf suddenly appeared, with a pair of evil black eyes and a big mouth, floating cross-legged in mid-air; holding the bundle of canes firmly with both hands.

"Hohoho!" He chuckled evilly, "It turns out to be the annoying little kid from the first grade! It's so fun!"

He suddenly lunged at them. They were stunned.

"Go away, Peeves, or I'll tell Bloody Baron I'm not kidding!" Percy yelled.

Peeves stuck out his tongue and disappeared. The cane flew in the direction of Shelley and Hermione.

Hermione was once again held aside by Shelley.

Peeves took off into the air, his armor clanking as he passed.

Hermione's head was dizzy and her cheeks were filled with blush. She had a habit of pretending to look strong in order to protect herself. But Shelley tore up her outer disguise. Although they only knew each other for less than a day, Shelley really cared about her.

Hermione couldn't blame anything, but for a short time she didn't dare to face Shelley again, and then she deliberately kept some distance from Shelley.

So Shelley didn't get too close.

"You should be on guard against Peeves." Percy said, leading everyone forward, "Bloody the Bloody is the only one who can subjugate him. He can't even listen to us prefects... …Here we are."

Finally, they stopped in front of a portrait.

The portrait shows a very rich woman wearing pink clothes. Everyone calls her the Fat Lady.

"Password?"

"Dragon Scum." Percy explained to the new students: "The password will be changed from time to time."

The portrait moved, revealing the circular passageway leading to the Genlan Fondo Lounge.

Shelley climbed in dragging his somewhat tired body.

There are many secrets in the castle... unknown secret passages, secret rooms of Slytherin and Ravenclaw, portraits of each other visiting each other, walking armor, and many ghosts.

On the way before, they met the annoying Peeves, who always likes to cause trouble.

In the warm lounge, a roaring fire burned in the fireplace, and many soft-looking armchairs were placed there.

"Gather here, welcome to the Gryffindor lounge." Percy stood in front of many freshmen, enjoying the attention he received: "The boys' dormitory is upstairs on the left, and the girls are upstairs on the right. Yours The luggage has been sent upstairs."

Shelley looked first to the left, then to the right...

Isn't Hogwarts afraid of students secretly falling in love? This common room is too convenient. I wonder what the defense mechanism of the girls' dormitory is...

Maybe we can study it another day...

Shelley remembered what was written in "Hogwarts: A History of the School": The founder of Hogwarts believed that boys were less trustworthy than girls, so girls were allowed to enter the boys' dormitories, but boys could not visit girls.

This is not fair!Shelley continued to think.

When no one was looking, he whispered to Hermione, "Sleep well tonight."

Hermione turned around and smiled a little.Shelley was startled and even wondered if it was his imagination. How could he smile so beautifully?

Hermione hurried back to her dormitory.

The little wizards had gone through too much this day, and they were all exhausted.

Shelley just wanted to lie down in bed quickly, and then take a deep sleep without caring about it. After all, he had to go to class the next day.

Not boring Chinese and mathematics, but magic!Real, workable magic!

Shelley doesn't know what tomorrow's class will be like, but is looking forward to it.

Shelley finally found the bunk with his name on it.

Five four-poster beds were hung with crimson flannel curtains.

He was actually in the same dormitory as Harry Potter and Ron. He lamented, his future campus life would be extremely exciting!
