Retirement from Hogwarts

Chapter 71 Finding the Crown

"Where did you go just now? I searched the whole train and couldn't find you."

At the dinner table at the opening banquet, Jack held Hermione's hand tightly and asked.

Hermione blushed and looked at the people around them who were quietly sizing them up, and twitched her hand that was held by Jack.Seeing that Jack really refused to let go, Youyou gave up.He said to Jack with a slightly red face:

"I was crying and ran from the box to the front of the car. The delivery lady saw me at the door of the front of the car. She took me inside the front of the car. You would never imagine what I saw inside the front of the car."

"What's in the front of the car?"

"Secret~" Hermione winked at Jack.

"Okay, you actually tricked me. Let's see how I deal with you." Jack said while playing with Hermione.

"Hmm..."

The Sorting Hat seemed furious that Jack and Hermione, who were sitting in the front row, ignored his new song. Before starting the sorting, he coughed hard, trying to warn some people who were focused on flirting.

Professor McGonagall, who was in charge of the branch, gave Jack a very cooperative look and then started to read the list.

"You said that if you were Gryffindor, where would you place the door to the Chamber of Secrets?"

After the boring back-to-term dinner, Jack asked Hermione sitting across from him in the armchair next to the fire in the common room.

"Why are you asking me? I am a Ravenclaw. If you are asking me, you might as well ask someone who knows Gryffindor."

"People who know Gryffindor, this is not good... Yes, why didn't I think of that?"

Jack jumped up from his chair in excitement. He picked up Hermione who was sitting opposite and ran towards the Room of Requirement.

“I need a place to hide something, I need a place to hide something, I need a place to hide something.”

When Jack passed in front of the tapestry of the troll beating silly Barnabas for the third time, a tall vault door appeared in front of Jack and Hermione.Looking at the door that was obviously different from the one in the novel, Jack shook his head helplessly.

"This is Gryffindor's Chamber of Secrets? How do we get in?"

Hermione asked worriedly as she looked at the complicated locking structure on the door.

"This is not the Gryffindor Chamber of Secrets. I came here to find someone familiar with Gryffindor."

As Jack spoke, he took out the Book of All Laws, which had been ignored by him no matter how he coerced or induced him since he got it.He tapped the spine of the book with his wand and said: "Stop being angry and get up to work. If you continue to go on strike, I will really send you to the clock tower."

After hearing Jack's words, the Book of All Laws jumped out of Jack's hand and slapped Jack hard on the forehead. He pushed him to the ground hard.

"This is your punishment for treating a lady roughly, little master." A beautiful woman wearing silk pajamas appeared in Jack's arms instead of the Book of All Laws that originally fell on Jack's chest. While drawing circles on his chest, he said breathlessly into Jack's ear.

"If you don't get up and go to work, I'll let you know what real roughness is." Jack said coldly, glancing at Hermione whose eyes could kill.

"Rough? Is that so?

Still like this? "Horus tore his pajamas while looking at Hermione with provocative eyes, as if he was unwilling to let her out.

"Stop making trouble and get up quickly." Jack's tone softened as he looked at Hermione who had pulled out her wand.

"Tsk, tsk, I didn't expect that my master actually has tracheitis. What a boring man." Horus smoothed his hair and smiled charmingly at Jack.He slowly got up from Jack's body, eating enough of Jack's tofu in the process. Then she spun around in a circle, and a robe of insight that was more attractive than pajamas appeared on Horus' body.

"I really don't know what's good about such an underdeveloped little girl." Horus glanced at Hermione beside him and muttered in a low voice.

"Horus! Hurry up and get to work!" Jack, who finally got up from the ground under Hermione's interference, glared angrily at Horus, who was muttering and fanning the flames.

Horus finally calmed down under Jack's warning. She began to pretend to use spells to open the lock on the door that she had sealed with her own authority.

"I don't have anything to do now. I'm going back." After opening the door to the Room of Requirement, Horus seemed to have lost his temper and transformed back into the Book of All Laws, and got into Jack's space bag.

Jack shrugged helplessly at Hermione, took her hand and walked into the Room of Requirement regardless of her objections.Behind them, the treasury door slowly disappeared into the corridors of the castle.

When they entered the Room of Requirement, the huge mountain of books in front of them instantly excited Hermione, who was already a little unhappy.Seeing Hermione rushing into the book mountain excitedly, Jack couldn't help but shook his head and gave up his previous plan to burn the entire room clean to find the Ravenclaw diadem.

"How big is your space bag? Wouldn't it be messy to put so many things in it?" Looking at Jack who kept putting various items in the room into the space bag, Hermione finally asked the question that had been bothering her. The problem.

"This is not a space bag." Jack turned the 'space bag' upside down and shook it, and a golden key fell out of the 'space bag'. "This is the key to my vault."

"Dimensional vault?" Hermione asked in surprise as she looked at the golden key falling out of the silver bag.

"More or less, it's a kind of alternative interdimensional vault. It's just a bit too showy to use this directly, so I put a bag on it." Jack scratched his head helplessly and said.

"You're a big liar." Hermione complained dissatisfiedly.

"But I won't fool you." Jack said, winking at Hermione. He looked at the Room of Requirement that had just been cleared out of a corner, and then looked down at his watch. He said to Hermione: "That's it for tonight. We'll talk about the rest later. I think you don't want to be late for the first class of school."

"Hmm~ Okay then." Hermione glanced at the room that had just been tidied up a little, and felt a little regretful to follow Jack out of the Room of Requirement. In the corridor, she looked at the tapestry opposite the Room of Requirement. She seemed to have thought of something, but she couldn't quite grasp the point.

"Wait, Jack." Hermione called out to Jack. "It stands to reason that as the Book of All Laws inherits all the knowledge of Ravenclaw, it should contain records about Gryffindor, right? Do you think there will be news about Gryffindor's Chamber of Secrets in it?"

Jack's eyes couldn't help but brighten after hearing Hermione's question. He quickly opened the King's Treasure and took out the Book of All Laws again. It's a pity that the Book of All Laws once again resorted to non-violence and non-cooperation this time, and no matter what Jack said, he refused to speak out.
