Comic: The Strongest Kryptonian

Chapter 27: Goodbye Steve

In the early morning, the warm sunlight penetrates through the transparent floor-to-ceiling windows and shines into the spacious bedroom.

Kahn felt the bright sunshine and opened his eyes lazily.

He reached out and fished subconsciously, only to find that he had found nothing.

Kahn woke up and looked around, but he didn't find that familiar figure.

Kahn concentrated slightly, turned on his super vision, and instantly saw the beautiful figure busy in the kitchen through the thick wall.

The corners of Kahn's mouth curved slightly, revealing a hint of happiness.

After getting dressed, Kahn walked directly towards the kitchen.

Putting his arms around Diana's slender and soft waist, Kahn put his chin on her soft shoulder with a smile on his face.

"What are you making delicious?"

The corners of Diana's mouth curved slightly, and her busy hands took the time to pat Kahn's generous palm.

"Go and wash up quickly. We'll eat soon."

"Okay, bo." Kahn secretly kissed Diana, but in exchange she got a blank look from Diana.

Kahn ran away with a smile, and after a while, a handsome and clean Kahn appeared.

The two sat at the table together, Kahn enjoying the breakfast made by Diana, while Diana rested her chin on her hands and watched Kahn quietly eating.

"By the way, where have you traveled these years?" Kahn asked Diana while eating breakfast.

"Take a look around. Most of them are looking for lost history in those ancient ruins."

"Have you ever been back to Paradise Island?" Kahn asked.

Diana was stunned for a moment, feeling a little depressed. She shook her head and sighed softly.

"I tried to find the location of Paradise Island, but unfortunately, it seems that I was exiled from Paradise Island. No matter how I searched, I couldn't find the island where I once lived."

Kahn stopped eating and immediately frowned. He asked, "That shouldn't be the case. When I was on Paradise Island before, I could come in and out at any time, right?"

"Maybe it's because you are not an aboriginal of Paradise Island, or maybe it's because of Zeus's magic. In short, I have no clue at all now." Diana was a little depressed, which seemed to arouse her longing for her relatives back home.

Kahn reached out to hold Diana's hands, and he said seriously: "Don't worry, I will definitely find a way to take you back."

"Yes." Diana nodded, with a smile that fascinated Kahn on her delicate face.

"Hurry up and eat. Don't you want to go see how Steve and the others are doing? They have developed quite well in recent years."

"Well, let's go after eating. I don't know how far they have developed. By the way, do you want to come together?" Kahn asked.

"I won't go. I've been absent from work for three days. If I don't go, the director will fire me."

"Let's see who dares." Kahn said angrily.

Looking at Kahn's appearance, Diana smiled and shook her head.

After finishing breakfast, the two of them packed up, then got into a red sports car and drove towards the outside of the manor.

Along the way, the two talked and laughed. When Kahn sent Diana to the door of a museum, the two kissed goodbye.

Then, according to the address given by Diana, Kahn drove towards Steve's address.

The DC Special Zone is the seat of the capital of Armorican, a direct jurisdiction of the Federal Government, and the political, cultural, and educational center of Armorican.

Although the economy here is not as good as Wall Street, Manhattan and other places, it has a world-famous company.

Kahn Group

Standing under the huge building that soared into the sky and was dozens of meters higher than the World Trade Center, Kahn couldn't help but raise a satisfied smile on his lips.

"It seems Steve has been busy these years."

After observing the building in front of him, Kahn took steps and walked directly towards the reception hall of the building.

As soon as he entered the lobby, Kahn was about to go directly to the elevator, but found that the way to the elevator was blocked by a gate.

He walked to the front desk and asked the front desk lady directly: "Which floor is Steve Trevor on?"

"The chairman is on the top floor. Do you have an appointment?" the front desk asked politely.

Kahn shook his head.

"Then please make an appointment first and wait until the chairman is free before you can meet with him."

Hearing this, Kahn smiled and shook his head.

Although he is the boss of this company, after all, people don't know, so they can't just let him in casually.

It is impossible for him to do something as shameless as forcing his way in.

Therefore, he ignored the strange look at the front desk. Instead, he raised his head slightly.

As his eyes passed through hundreds of floors, he finally found the familiar figure on the top floor.

Kahn raised the corner of his mouth, and then with a thought, an invisible electromagnetic wave emanated from around him and spread to the top floor in an instant.

"Steve, this is Kahn. I'm in the lobby downstairs now. Why don't you come down and pick me up."

As the corners of Kahn's mouth opened slightly, a faint voice came from his mouth, as if he was talking to himself in the air.

The receptionist on the side thought that Kahn had some kind of mental illness. When Kahn wasn't looking, he secretly picked up the phone and dialed the emergency number.

Kahn was naturally aware of the other party's movements. He rolled his eyes slightly and thought for a moment. The electromagnetic waves emitted by the phone at the front desk were disrupted, so that there were only bursts of sizzling electricity in the phone at the front desk.

Immediately, Kahn no longer paid attention to the front desk, but sat on the sofa in the hall, picked up a newspaper and read it.

About two minutes passed before the sound of rapid footsteps came from a distance.

When this figure appeared, the front desk lady immediately came out and greeted respectfully: "Chairman!"

"Yeah." The figure responded calmly.

On Kahn's side, he also heard the footsteps. He slowly put down the newspaper he had just read and turned his attention to the source of the sound.

I saw where the sound came from, a middle-aged figure wearing a smart suit with graying hair on his temples, looking around as if he was looking for something.

And when he saw Kahn sitting quietly on the sofa and looking at him with a smile, the man's face suddenly showed a very excited look.

He walked quickly to Kahn, suppressed his excitement, and said in a trembling voice: "Kahn, you are finally back."

Kahn stood up, opened his arms and hugged the other person.

"Yeah, long time no see, Steve."

The two hugged each other, and then Steve pulled Kahn and walked towards the elevator.

"Come on, let's go upstairs and chat." After saying that, he led Kahn to the elevator.

Kahn naturally did not refuse and slowly followed Steve.

When passing by the front desk, he waved and said hello to the front desk lady who was looking at him in surprise.
