The One Piece World from Wendy

Chapter 16 The prophecy of Alabasta appears

"Report to Lieutenant General Dauberman, the two pirates were not found." A navy officer cautiously reported to the angry Lieutenant General.

"What?! What do you do for food?! Even if we were sneaked in by two little pirates, now we can't even find anyone?!" As expected, the Lieutenant General was angry.

The navy who reported the news was immediately afraid to speak out, for fear of offending Lieutenant General Dauberman.

"Forget it, I'll catch those two Mao personally. This is an important task that Marshal Warring States has emphasized many times and cannot be taken lightly." Lieutenant General Dauberman stood up and walked out of the navy's temporary camp.

"Reporting to Lieutenant General Dauberman, His Majesty Shichibukai Crocodile has come and requested to meet." A navy man ran over and gave a standard salute and said.

"Huh? What is that guy doing here?" Dauberman asked doubtfully, but he still followed the navy who reported the news to meet Crocodile.

"Although he is the King of the Shichibukai, he is now a partner of the navy."

"But he is a vicious pirate after all. Maybe the two young pirates just now were sent by him to find out the news." Dauberman thought in his heart.

Arriving at the gate of the camp, Crocodile, wearing a black cloak, was waiting with a smile on his face, holding an excellent quality cigar in his mouth.

The surrounding navy watched Crocodile's every move nervously, fearing that he might suddenly riot.

Facing these looks, Crocodile kept smiling lightly as if he was unaware of it.

"Oh, are you here, Vice Admiral of the Navy Headquarters?" Crocodile said when he saw Lieutenant General Dauberman walking towards this side.

"Krokdal, what did you want to do here? Although I asked you, as the King's Shichibukai, to assist you when necessary."

"But it seems that I didn't send a message requiring assistance, right?" Dauberman stared at Crocodile with his sharp eyes.

"Oh, as one of the Seven Warlords under the King, it is my duty to assist the navy."

"I got news that some blind pirates have sneaked into the navy's camp and are desperately looking for people."

"I think it may be that the navy is not familiar with the desert territory, and I, who have been rescuing people in Alabasta, should be a little more familiar with it than the other navies."

"No, I found two little thieves hiding under the sand when I arrived." Crocodile waved to the back and said with a smile, as if he was just an enthusiastic person.

Two people dressed as ordinary people carried two corpses that were so shriveled that they could not be seen clearly from behind. The tragic death made some young sailors silently cover their mouths and noses.

"But these two little thieves still wanted to escape, but they were too weak, so I accidentally killed them."

"They're just two little thieves. I don't think the Lieutenant General cares about this." Crocodile said with a laugh.

Dauberman knew in his heart that the two pirates were probably Crocodile's men, and the two corpses were just a cover-up, but he had no evidence to prove it.

"Thank you very much. If there is nothing else, please come back." Dauberman said as he ordered the guests to be kicked out.

"Oh my, is the navy so unhospitable?"

Dauberman remained silent, his intention to exclude the guest was obvious.

Seeing this, Crocodile didn't care and continued to ask: "Then let me explain my purpose of coming. I wonder what the navy is planning to do here?"

"You have been so secretive, and I can't help you even if I want to help you." Crocodile said hypocritically.

"I'm sorry, this is a high-level secret of the Navy. No one except the executors at the level of lieutenant general or above knows about it." Dauberman said calmly.

Hearing this, Crocodile didn't seem to be angry at all at being refused to tell him, and immediately turned around and left.

"Since it's a secret, I won't ask any questions, so as not to revoke my position as a Shichibukai. I quite like being a hero in Alabasta." Crocodile said as he left.

"What kind of hero? Maybe it's just a cover-up." Dauberman said disdainfully, but what the other party did in Alabasta seemed to be really just saving the people.

Crocodile had already left, but Dauberman always felt that something was wrong in his heart. The other party came all the way here just to save two men who were definitely not ranked in terms of strength and say a few words?

"Quick, go see what's going on at the excavation site!" Dauberman shouted eagerly.

The chaos in the naval camp has nothing to do with Crocodile, who has already left.

Looking at Robin who was following him, he asked, "How is it? Is it a historical text?"

Recalling what he saw when he sneaked into the navy camp when Crocodile dispatched the lieutenant general, even with Robin's knowledge, he couldn't react for a moment.

"To be sure, it's not a historical text." Robin replied.

When he heard that it was not what he wanted, Crocodile immediately lost most of his interest and said calmly: "What is that thing that can make the navy take it so seriously that I am not even allowed to enter the camp?"

"Hmm...how to describe it? It should actually be something similar to a historical text." Robin thought for a moment and said.

"Oh? Something similar to the historical text? Continue." Crocodile became interested again and said.

"It was an extremely magnificent and huge piece of amber-like thing." Robin said, recalling what he saw.

"A whole piece of natural amber as big as an elephant was dug out of the sand by the navy."

"But that depth and the fact that more than half of it is exposed above ground, it's not so much that it was dug out, but that the amber suddenly popped out of the sand."

"And I also learned from the mouths of some navy that this amber did indeed emerge from the ground under the nose of the navy a few days ago!"

"The huge amber that appeared out of thin air shouldn't be a big deal, right?" Crocodile couldn't help but say.

Robin nodded and continued: "If it's just that, it really doesn't deserve such protection from the Navy."

"but!"

"What if there are symbols comparable to ancient writing emerging from amber?" Robin said happily. As a historian, a symbol or writing that has never appeared before always arouses great interest in them.

"I know that kind of writing very well, even I have never seen it before."

Crocodile remained silent as he listened to Robin's increasingly happy words. He couldn't understand the meaning of these words and symbols.

But what Robin said next made him want to go back and snatch the amber immediately.

"However, I have never seen such symbols or words, but when I saw the words in amber, I could understand what was written in my mind!"

"The writing in amber probably means this."

"When the kingdom of sand and dust is shrouded in golden clouds, rock-like dragons roar from the ground."

"The stars will come to the world, and the rock gods who once made the contract will return to the earth."

"But the dark disaster will definitely follow and wait for the opportunity to act in an attempt to prevent the Rock God from awakening."

"When the gods reappear, the people of the world thousands of years from now, we will leave this message here."

"For the sake of the prosperous age when we once lived together with the gods, please help prevent the disaster coming from the sea!"

"For the King of Rocks!"

Robin finished speaking slowly, shocked by the information revealed in the amber words, and Crocodile also stopped.

"How credible do you think this story is?" Crocodile asked with his back to Robin.

Robin paused after hearing this, thought for a moment, and replied: "Seventy percent!"

Although she didn't know why, Robin's intuition told her that this matter was very credible.I just don’t know what the gods were from thousands of years ago that preceded the blank 100 years?

Many questions lingered in Robin's mind, and she couldn't wait to search for documents to see if she could find relevant information.

"Hahahaha! Really, you actually think it's [-]%!" Crocodile laughed when he heard this, "It seems that the world has become more interesting!"

After saying that, Crocodile left without looking back.

Robin stood there blankly and lowered his head for a moment, then looked back in the direction of the navy camp and left.
