Yellow ants are divided into winged ants (male and female) and worker ants. The worker ants vary in size, with a body length of 6 to 1 mm, rusty red or orange-red. They are named "acid ants" because they have a transparent yellow ball under their abdomen that stores acid. They spend their whole lives busy foraging, fighting, defending their homes, and taking care of the new members born by the queen ant.
