Adults live in high mountain valleys and woodlands above 4 meters above sea level with mild climate, dry and sunny winters, and relatively humid summers. They can lay eggs on the back of leaves and petioles, and can also lay eggs on branch tips. The egg period is about 1 weeks. They are distributed in Yunnan and Sichuan.
