Harry Potter's Cousin Dudley at Hogwarts

Chapter 77 Harry's Birthday Party

Not long after, there was a knock on the door of the house.

"Harry! Go and open the door!" Dudley was busy in the kitchen, wearing an apron and holding a spatula, shouting to Harry who was playing games with Hermione.

Since it was Harry's birthday today, Dudley asked Harry to take a break and cook by himself.

"What? Dudley, what are you talking about?" Harry was so absorbed in playing the game that he couldn't hear what Dudley was saying.

"I tell you to open a door!" Dudley pointed to the door.

"The door, yes." Harry finally heard Dudley's words clearly, nodded, and then said to Hermione, "Hermione, let's pause for a moment, I'll open the door."

"No, Harry." Hermione quickly pressed the button on the gamepad.

So the character controlled by Harry was defeated by the character controlled by Hermione on the screen.

"It's not fair, Hermione, you're lying! Dudley was talking to me just now." Harry complained to Hermione.

"You are defeated! According to the rules, I won." Hermione said, pointing to Harry's character on the TV screen.

"Hermione, this game doesn't count, let's play another game later, wait for me."

Harry put down the gamepad, stood up and ran to open the door.

"Draco, you're here!" Harry who opened the door happily saw Draco with neatly combed hair.

"Harry, happy birthday!" Draco wished Harry well, and then handed Harry a beautifully wrapped gift box.

"Thank you, Draco." Harry happily accepted the gift.

"Harry, didn't you see me?" At this moment, a voice came from beside Draco.

"Hmm..." Harry turned his head following the voice, saw the angry Ron, rubbed his hair in embarrassment, and then happily said to Ron, "Welcome, Ron!"

Harry stepped forward and gave Ron a hug. He didn't expect Draco to come with Ron.

"Hmph, don't think I'll forgive you with a hug!" Ron muttered, and then took out a gift box from his clothes, "However, I still want to wish you a happy birthday, Harry. Although this gift is not worth much, But I bought it with the pocket money I saved.”

"Thank you, Ron. Actually, I'd be glad you could come," said Harry happily.

"Hum!" A hum came from beside him.

"Huh? What happened to him?" Harry didn't understand why Draco pushed him away.Looking at the back of Draco leaving the room, he was a little confused.

"Oh, Harry, don't worry, the Malfoys have always been sick." Ron felt that everything about Draco was normal.

"However, Harry, why did you invite Malfoy to your birthday party?" Ron asked curiously.Ron thought there was something wrong with his eyes when he met Malfoy in Muggle civilian clothes on the road.

"Well, after all, Malfoy is also our friend, so it's normal to invite him!" Harry pulled Ron into the room and said, "Today is Dudley's cooking, you should have a good taste of his cooking!"

"Dudley? Is his cooking good?" Ron muttered under his breath.

In his opinion, Dudley was very good at boiling potions, but not necessarily cooking. I hope it won't taste as bad as cooking potions in the end!Thinking of this, Ron felt that he had to eat less today.

Draco walked into the house haughtily, glanced at the room decoration, frowned, thinking that the house was too small, not as big as his house in the German countryside.

"Malfoy, do you want to play a game?" Hermione asked when she saw Draco enter the room and picked up the game controller Harry had just used.

"Well, yes." Draco nodded, took the game controller, and sat down.

"Ron, I'll let you play with this one. I'll see if Dudley needs help." Seeing Harry and Ron coming in, Hermione got up and left, walking towards the kitchen.

"Dudley, do you need my help?" Hermione asked as she walked into the kitchen.

"No, I can handle it," Dudley replied.

"Then what can I do?" Hermione noticed that Dudley had prepared a few bowls of food, but covered them with a heat shield.

"Why don't you hang up the ribbons and balloons, I'm almost done." Dudley added salt and monosodium glutamate to the dishes in the pot, "If you hang these up, there will be more birthday atmosphere."

"No problem, where are things?" Hermione asked.

"It's in the cupboard on the right as you come in through the door," Dudley replied.

"Okay." Hermione nodded.

After Hermione left the kitchen, she saw Harry, Ron, and Draco fighting over the gamepads, and called them to work.

Soon streamers and balloons were adorning the walls and around the furniture, creating a happy birthday mood throughout the room.

Dudley also set the table with the dishes he had worked so hard to cook, including Harry's favorite foods.

"Dudley! I didn't expect the dishes you cooked to be so delicious." Ron looked at the dishes on the table that he hadn't eaten before, and couldn't help but praise.

"Dudley, the dishes he cooks are delicious, although he rarely cooks them." Harry said from the side.

Dudley stood aside with a glass of drink in his hand.He raised his glass to Harry and said with a smile, "Happy birthday, Harry! Today is a special day, let's celebrate together!"

"Harry, happy birthday!" Everyone picked up drinks and respected Harry.

"Thank you everyone." Harry raised his drink a little touched.

Then everyone sat around the table, began to enjoy the food, and talked about their current situation and interesting stories.

Ron never thought that Dudley's dishes were so delicious. After taking a bite, he was full of praise for Dudley's dishes, and wished he could open his mouth again.

Hermione couldn't help but roll her eyes in disgust at Ron's eating, but unfortunately Ron didn't care at all.

Good days always pass quickly. After they sang happy birthday to Harry and ate cake, everyone sat in front of the TV, watching TV and chatting.

"It's very late now, it's not safe to go back, why don't you stay here tonight!" Dudley looked at the night and suggested.

"Okay, but I have to make a call back." Hermione nodded and said.

"I can also, Harry, your owl will lend me a letter to send back. My mother will be very happy if she knows that I live in Harry's house, unlike someone..." After finishing speaking, Ron glanced provocatively Draco.

"Hmph, me too, Harry lend me your owl, and I'll write a letter to my dad." Draco glared at Ron.

The two then start pestering Harry to lend him the owl first.

"They're so naive." Looking at the noisy people, Hermione couldn't help but speak.

"Yes, quite childish." Dudley nodded in agreement.
