If the Statue of Liberty represents the ideas of "freedom", "equality" and the pursuit of individual liberation in the Western world, then the Guanyin Statue on the Sea in Nanshan is the spiritual symbol of "compassion", "wisdom" and "peace" in the Eastern world.

The shape of the Avalokitesvara statue on the sea in Nanshan, with its flowing clothes and a compassionate and solemn face, seems to come from the sea and wants to save all living beings from suffering. The overall image makes people feel reverent at first sight. It is "truth and goodness". The perfect combination of ", beauty".
