I, Hogwarts Week Two

Chapter 589: The Battle of Hogwarts (7)

Harry stared at Snape.

He didn't understand why the other party would help him.

"There won't be a next time, Potter!" Snape noticed Harry's gaze.

He said coldly: "This is the last time I will help you."

"Is this the task assigned to you by Dumbledore?" Harry immediately guessed the reason for this situation.

Snape said nothing.

While he was running away, he also had to deal with the Death Eaters who were chasing him.

"You're a spy? A double agent?"

"I think it would be better for you to focus your energy on the enemies behind you now," Snape said sarcastically.

Even though Harry knew the truth, he still had that expression.

There was an invisible shield between him and Harry Potter that nothing could break.

The best outcome would be for the two of them to become the most familiar strangers.

"Boom!" Another spell exploded.

Harry and Snape fell.

He stood up, protected the Potter behind him, and then looked into the distance with indifference.

Just as the Death Eaters and Voldemort caught up.

A figure appeared out of nowhere beside them.

"Hey - Harry Potter."

It was Dobby, wearing elaborate body armor and holding a dagger.

"Dobby?" Harry was delighted and said quickly, "Take us away!"

"No problem!" Dobby said seriously, reaching out to grab him and Snape, then Apparated away.

On the other side, in the forbidden forest, countless [Sons of Evil Omen] appeared from nowhere.

They are all more than ten feet tall.

His whole body was emitting a faint earthy yellow glow, which was continuous, like a flame.

There was a new smell of sulfide in the air.

Wherever they go, the earth seems to lose its vitality, the snow melts, and the ground cracks.

A strong smell of corruption enveloped the entire forest.

"Oh my god!!!"

"Merlin on top!"

Any wizard who saw this army of [Evil Omens] was shocked by its terrifying scale.

That's not just a few hundred thousand.

They stretched on and on, and the whole forest was on fire.

Standing on the Hogwarts tower and looking into the distance.

It was as if the sky or the earth had cracked open, allowing these hateful beasts to appear endlessly.

"Is this the end of the world?" the wizards all said in horror.

Facing this number of enemies.

Even the bravest people can panic.

"Where's Koyatel?"

"What about her?"

"Tonks! Where is she?"

Theseus Scamander was brought back to the castle by Kreacher.

As soon as he landed, he started shouting and looking for someone.

"I'm here!" It was Koyatel who spoke.

She and Ron had just arrived deep into the Forbidden Forest.

But in the process, they encountered more and more Death Eaters' attacks.

The American wizards who went with her couldn't stand the pressure, and in order to avoid heavy casualties, they had to retreat.

Originally, Coyote just wanted to enter the Forbidden Forest to gather information and see what kind of backup plan Voldemort had prepared, but now there is no need for that.

The army of [Sons of Evil Omen] that is spread all over the mountains is the backup.

"Contact the Muggles and get them involved," said Theseus Scamander. "Tell them not to think of catching us all in one fell swoop!"

He naturally knew the Muggles' plan. After all, the Federation was not blind to the large-scale deployment of troops.

However, he took into account that there might be unexpected situations and the power of Muggles might be able to provide them with help, so he acquiesced to this behavior.

"Go east and you'll find them easily!"

"Okay!" Koyatel nodded. Just as he was about to turn around and leave, Theseus Scamander stopped him again: "Wait - take a team over."

"Once the Muggles attack, the Death Eaters will definitely go there. You will be responsible for stopping them."

"And - to keep an eye on them, to keep an eye on the Muggles - if I'm not mistaken, they might want to use that weapon to wipe us all out, friend or foe."

"I understand!" Koyatel said solemnly, then immediately turned around and left.

Theseus Scamander then found George and Fred.

Their metal puppets would be easier to deal with the Son of Evil Omen than spells.

He didn't expect the twins to be able to block all the [Sons of Evil Omens], as long as they could attract their firepower.

"Are you okay?" Without stopping, Theseus Scamander found Neville and Luna again.

There was no need for him to say anything more; the two little wizards knew what they were going to do.

"Too many," said Neville.

"Yes, if there are only a few thousand of them we might be able to resist them," said Seamus beside him.

"You don't need to kill them all, just kill as many enemies as possible." Theseus Scamander said bluntly: "I will send a team to protect your safety. You just need to cast the spell with all your heart and soul."

"No problem!" Seamus said, "Origin magic, that's all I know, and I'm pretty proficient in it now."

Neville and Luna also nodded.

Among the eight origin magics, most of the young wizards in DA only mastered the Star Rain.

Even Hermione has not fully mastered all the origin magic.

She is only proficient in the three major stargazing spells.

"Next" Theseus Scamander looked into the distance.

He has done all he can.

The outcome of this war does not depend on us.

All he could do was delay time, buying time for Harry, Owen and the others.

Dumbledore had no idea what plan he had left for them.

All he could do was pray that the damn plan would succeed.

On the other side, Harry and Owen met at the north gate of Hogwarts.

Hermione also appeared here by coincidence.

"Harry!" Hagrid's eyes lit up, and he rushed to Harry with tears in his eyes and hugged him in his arms.

"Oh! You're still alive! Still alive!"

Snape beside him was ignored by him.

But it was obvious that Snape didn't want to say anything to Hagrid either.

He left here alone and walked towards the castle.

After several dozen seconds, Hagrid's enthusiasm faded a little.

Then it was Hermione's turn to hug again.

"You know I won't really die, right?" After exchanging a few words of comfort with Hermione, Harry came to Owen.

"Did you just meet Dumbledore?" Owen did not answer directly, but asked another question.

"Hmm..." Harry nodded: "Yes, I went to a strange place, it was like the place we had been to before in the Department of Mysteries of the Ministry of Magic, the Twilight Zone.

But in my fantasy, that place looks more like the Muggle King's Cross Station, where we take the Hogwarts Express every year. I did meet Dumbledore there, and he told me a lot, including his past, his plans, and that I was the last Horcrux. "Harry paused for a moment, as if thinking, his eyes wandering back and forth on Owen's face, he had a lot to say.

"Voldemort's killing curse hit me. I don't know why I didn't die, but the Horcrux in my head should have been destroyed and the fragment of his soul was gone. What happened after that? We still couldn't defeat Voldemort?"

"There are many reasons why you are not dead," Owen explained. "It is the result of several complex factors."

"First, the Elder Wand."

"The Elder Wand?" Harry thought for a moment. He had just discussed the Elder Wand with Dumbledore in the Twilight Zone.

It's just that too much was said at the time, and he didn't have time to connect a lot of information.

"Wait - you mean, the owner of the Elder Wand is not Voldemort? But he clearly killed Grindelwald."

Owen's eyes darkened.

"Oh! Sorry, I didn't mean anything else." Harry said quickly.

"It's okay." Owen took a deep breath and said, "You should think about it carefully."

"Think about it?" Harry pondered, and suddenly a detail that he had overlooked emerged in his mind. "I remember that I once disarmed Mr. Grindelwald's wand in Godric's Hollow!"

"So the owner of the Elder Wand is—me?"

"That's right!" Owen nodded. "Although I don't know how Dumbledore arranged it specifically, you will definitely be the master of the Elder Wand in the end."

After seeing Harry's look of sudden realization.

He further explained: "The second possibility is because of the love protection spell that belongs to your mother!"

"Your mother's magic still remains in Voldemort."

"His magic can't kill you, so he can only kill the part of Voldemort's soul that is in you."

"That is why you must face Voldemort."

"So that's how it is!" Harry hadn't thought that this would involve his mother's magic.

Maybe—he suddenly realized.

In the year of the Goblet of Fire, Dumbledore had already anticipated the current situation and had made preparations several years ago.

Harry couldn't help but have greater respect for this greatest headmaster.

Because the other party saved his life. If Dumbledore had not arranged for him to face Voldemort, perhaps he would have to die this time.

“The last reason.”

"Is there any other reason?" Harry stared at Owen in surprise.

"You will know soon. This is the final test!" Owen's tone suddenly became distant.

Somehow, the final ending is about to come.

"what do you know?"

Harry just asked.

A large group of Death Eaters appeared on the stone bridge in front of the north gate of Hogwarts.

Voldemort, the leader, stood in front of the stone bridge, his black robe fluttering, his silver hair dancing. His face was pale but with a morbid enthusiasm, his scarlet eyes fixed directly on Harry, a cold smile on the corner of his mouth.

"I thought you would run away in disgrace like a mouse."

He looked at Harry and said.

"Oh! The other one is here too. That saves me a lot of effort!"

He looked at Owen again.

"Don't assume that everyone else thinks the same as you, Tom!" Harry shouted at Voldemort, "If I wanted to escape, I wouldn't have appeared in the Forbidden Forest just now!"

"You didn't kill me. You'll never be able to defeat me!"

"Hehe——" Voldemort laughed cruelly in anger, his entire face trembling.

The next second, his whole body was lit up with golden light, and a complex magic ring appeared in front of him, followed by a huge golden sword that shot towards Harry like a meteor.

At the critical moment, Owen suddenly reached out and pushed away Harry, who was about to cast a spell to resist.

He appeared in front of the golden sword.

Then something jaw-dropping happened.

Without using any magic, Owen managed to deflect the golden sword.

It shot towards a flower bed.

The thousand-year-old precious flower bed was split in half.

"Owen!" Hermione was startled.

She hurried forward to see if Owen was injured.

"It's okay!" He gave a forced smile.

His guess was verified.

The ending is already determined.

"Did you cast a spell just now? I didn't see anything." Harry stared at Owen in surprise.

"No, I didn't." Owen shook his head and looked at Harry. "You are right Harry, Voldemort can no longer hurt you, or anyone at Hogwarts."

"What's going on?" Hermione looked at Owen in confusion.

Harry had understood more clearly than her. "Is this the third reason you mentioned?" He said, "Because I did what my mother did."

Harry understood.

He drew his wand and faced Voldemort.

Nothing could frighten him this time.

He looked directly into the other person's scarlet eyes with great power.

"You can't hurt us anymore. You failed Tom!"

"Luck! Accident!" Voldemort shouted, and shot out dozens of golden swords again.

However, the result was the same as the one shot at Owen.

No matter who he was aiming at, the attack would be deflected when it landed on everyone.

"Don't you understand?" Harry cried. "Is it an accident that my mother died trying to save me?"

"Did I decide to resist during the Battle of Hogwart? Was it a coincidence? Was it a coincidence that I survived on top of the Tower of Azkaban and tonight in the Forbidden Forest?"

"Hehe——" Voldemort laughed crazily.

He suddenly shot out a huge golden sword, and this time it was not aimed at the people in Hogwarts, but at the Death Eaters beside him.

In an instant, more than a dozen Death Eaters were killed by him.

"Why!" he shouted.

The Death Eaters around him retreated as if they were running for their lives.

In an instant, a small vacuum area appeared around him.

"You will never try to kill any of them again. Never. Do you understand? To stop you from hurting these people, I am prepared to die--"

"You did not!" Voldemort roared.

The majestic ancient magic power in his body swept around like a huge wave.

The stone bridge was shattered, and the water of the Black Lake was stirred and churned, flooding towards Hogwarts.

The whole sky darkened.

But no matter how he cast magic, he couldn't hurt the people in Hogwarts.

Even the water from the Black Lake that was rushing towards the people at Hogwarts was diverted.

"—I made up my mind! That's the key. I did what my mother did."

“Love again?” Voldemort said, his pale face full of mockery: “Oh - Dumbledore’s magic weapon, he claimed to conquer death, but he didn’t save himself! He died, died in front of me, without love, without any false deception, his body is rotting, and his soul has returned to death!”

"And I! Am the God of Death!!!"

Voldemort shouted frantically.

Over the past few hours, all the unexpected events had caused his remaining sanity to evaporate in anger.

Now he only has one idea.

That is to use all your strength to kill the stumbling block in front of you!

Suddenly, it seemed as if the hand of fate was pulling the two of them together.

Harry and Voldemort raised their wands simultaneously.

Cast the curse of fate upon the other party.

"Avada Kedavra!"

"Except your weapons!"
