We were taken to a quiet private house. The location seemed a bit out of the way, but the environment was really beautiful. Palms surrounded the banana bamboo building on the gravel road, which gave it an exotic feel.

The owners of the house are a brother and sister from the Dai ethnic group. They warmly received us and started eating when we arrived.
