Marriage in crisis

I thought about the origin of these two sounds. It should be that the person jumped out of the window, and the second sound should be that Chi Xi also went out!

But I didn't move. After listening for a while, everything returned to tranquility.

Just like before, it was so quiet that I could only hear my own breathing.

I dared to poke my head out and glanced in the direction of the stairs. There was no movement at all. I walked out of the darkness, bent down, picked up the mop on the ground, held it in my hand, and walked up step by step.
