Once upon a time, there was a family named Lu outside the south gate of Danyang City in the south of the Yangtze River. The family had a honey locust garden.

The woman in red had no fear and acted as if no one else was watching. She walked into the room calmly, ducked under the bed and disappeared.

The son took his family and the prepared ginger soup back to the honey locust garden and drank it for his father who had fainted on the ground.

Not long after, his father woke up and everyone helped him back home.

The son immediately called some neighbors, and together they went to the room, moved the bed, and dug out the soil under the bed.

As a result, a vermilion coffin was dug out underneath, and the cover of the coffin was pried open. Inside, there was a female corpse dressed in red. It was the female ghost that the father and son saw at night.

From then on, the father and son no longer dared to guard the honey locust garden at night.

Three days later, in broad daylight, another man fell to the ground under the acacia tree in the garden.

After the Lu family father and son saw it, they thought it was not a ghost because it was daytime, so they went to get ginger soup, drank him awake, and then asked him, who was he? Where does it come from? Why did he faint in his own honey locust garden?

The man said with lingering fear: "I am your neighbor to the west. Knowing that another ghost had appeared, the Lu family and his son immediately called their family and neighbors and started digging under the acacia tree where the man had fallen.
