A few minutes later, Bo Simu took the spatula and put it on the plate. He looked back at Ruan Ruan and saw that she had been standing there for a long time.

"Is something wrong?" Bo Simu asked softly.

Ruan Ruan shook his head and raised the corners of his mouth slightly, "It's okay, I just think you look pretty good at cooking."

"If you're fine, just go out." Bo Simu gave the eviction order without ceremony, but Ruan Ruan refused to leave.

The two looked at each other for a few seconds. Ruan Ruan took a few steps forward and stood next to Bo Simu. What An Juan said came to her mind.

"I have found someone to restore the surveillance records of that day..." Ruan Ruanyi said, and a trace of surprise flashed in Bo Simu's eyes.

Bo Simu has always done a good job in managing his emotions. Even though he was a little shocked for a second, his face remained calm.

"So?" Bo Simu said two words slowly.

"I have no evidence of being present. Although I haven't found any evidence of who did it, at least it wasn't me." Ruan Ruan lowered his voice and said.

"After so long, you finally found the surveillance records to fool me?" Bo Simu obviously didn't believe it. He raised his lips and asked in a somewhat questioning tone.

Ruan Ruan was not surprised at all when she heard Bo Simu's words. Bo Simu's distrust of her had long been obvious, and he would not believe that she was not the murderer without real evidence.

"I sometimes wonder..." Ruan Ruan deliberately prolonged his speech, "Are you blaming yourself too much? You have an overwhelming guilt that you can't vent out. Taking your anger out on me will make you feel better?"

Not wanting to quarrel or argue, Ruan Ruan was simply curious about what Bo Simu was thinking.

Ruan Ruan once eagerly wanted to make it clear to Bo Simu, but later she found that there were some things that couldn't be rushed and had to be taken slowly. The most important thing was evidence.

"Stop talking nonsense." Bo Simu's eyes averted, and his face showed a bit of indifference.

Ruan Ruan took another step forward, and there was only half a meter between her and Bo Simu. The two of them could clearly see the expressions on each other's faces, and could easily capture every subtle change.

Ruan Ruan is not afraid at all, she just wants Bo Simu to face the impact of these things honestly.

"Bo Simu, every time I try to explain that I am not the murderer, you will try your best to find excuses and force me to admit that I am the murderer. You have always known in your heart that I am not the murderer, right?"

Ruan Ruan said seriously, his eyes showing some concentration, "But you can't find the murderer, and a kind of incompetent anger makes you uncomfortable. Shifting it to me can certainly reduce the guilt you feel towards Aunt Bo."

"That's enough!" Bo Simu roared, raising his hand and grabbing Ruan Ruan's arm.

Bo Simu's eyes were a little more angry, his eyes were fixed on Ruan Ruan, and his voice was a little more displeased.

"I said I'm not a murderer, and I would rather sacrifice myself than let anything happen to Aunt Bo..." Ruan Ruan slapped Bo Simu's arm off. She was confident enough to fight against Bo Simu.

Before there was evidence, Ruan Ruan could only swallow her breath and endure it. Now she can finally speak for herself.

"I told you to shut up, can't you understand what people are saying?" Bo Simu said through gritted teeth.

"If taking your anger out on me makes you feel better, then go ahead and do it."

Ruan Ruan said something, and she strode out past Bo Simu, her face calmer than ever.

Bo Simu, who stayed where he was, watched Ruan Ruan's disappearing figure. His mind was completely disturbed by Ruan Ruan. He took a few deep breaths and gradually regained his attention.

Cooking is something that can make people calm down. Bo Simu adjusted his breathing and got back into cooking.

The kitchen door gradually closed, Ruan Ruan's face was calm, and her mood did not fluctuate.

Ruan Ruan returned to the sofa. She watched cartoons on the TV and thought of other things in her mind, especially Bo Simu's uneasiness that she couldn't hide just now.

"Mom, what are you thinking about?" Ruan Shu tugged on Ruan Ruan's sleeve and asked softly.

"It's okay." The corners of Ruan Ruan's mouth raised slightly, "Mom just feels that some things are getting better little by little, and our good days may have begun."

"Didn't we have a good life before?" Ruan Shu raised his head and looked at Ruan Ruan with curiosity.

"Yes, it will get better and better in the future." Ruan Ruan smiled slightly, and her heart gradually relaxed.

"When will I see grandma? I haven't seen grandma for a few days. I miss grandma a little." Ruan Shu twitched the corners of her lips, "Grandma must miss me too."

"Auntie has been hospitalized recently, and grandma is a little busy for the time being." Ruan Ruan said softly.

"Ah?" Ruan Shu was stunned for a moment, "Why is it so serious that you are hospitalized?"

"It's okay, the doctor will take good care of my aunt." Ruan Ruan patted Ruan Shu on the head, and she quickly changed the subject.

Adults' affairs should not affect children. Ruan Ruan always hoped that Ruan Shu could grow up happily and not think too much about things.

Half an hour later, Bo Simu shouted that they could eat. Ruan Ruan and Ruan Shu washed their hands and walked to the restaurant.

The three of them sat down together, and the atmosphere became subtle. Ruan Shu took a bite of the braised prawns and gave Bo Simu a thumbs up.

"Dad, your cooking is delicious!" Ruan Shu looked at Bo Simu with bright eyes and a smile on his lips.

"If it's delicious, eat more." Bo Simu whispered as he peeled the shrimp for Ruan Shu and looked at Ruan Ruan inadvertently.

The two looked at each other, and Ruan Ruan's mouth curved, obviously not taking what just happened to his heart.

"Your cooking is really delicious." Ruan Ruan praised seriously, "Smart people are good at everything they do. Even when they first started cooking, they were so delicious."

"Don't think that just because you say a few nice words..." Bo Simu said coldly, not liking Ruan Ruan's words at all.

Ruan Ruan didn't mind at all. She looked at Bo Simu sulking and found him a bit cute.

"Okay, okay, you can't say it's delicious, you can't say it's unpalatable, right?" Ruan Ruan smiled mischievously, holding the soup bowl in both hands and looking at Bo Simu quietly.

Bo Simu's eyebrows moved slightly, and there was a hint of impatience in his eyes, "You can shut up."

"Dad, are you tired from cooking?" Ruan Shu asked in a low voice.

"No." Bo Simu said lightly, "I just hope that some people don't have to speak if they don't speak nicely."

With a squeak, Ruan Ruan laughed. She put down the soup bowl in her hand and winked at Bo Simu.

"Aren't you so angry just because your thoughts were revealed?" Ruan Ruan said jokingly, his eyes lit up.

Bo Simu fell silent. He lowered his head to eat, not wanting to talk to Ruan Ruan at all.

Ruan Ruan and Ruan Shu looked at each other, and they both realized that Bo Simu was unhappy, but they didn't say anything more.

At the dinner table, Ruan Ruan and Ruan Shu continued to chat. They talked a lot as usual. Bo Simu listened quietly most of the time. He rarely participated in their chat.

What Ruan Ruan said came to Bo Simu's mind, and his mind was turbulent.
