To raise chickens, you must have chicks. During this period, Shen Ping tried to use solar lights to hatch chicks. She made a large tray with wooden boards, put straw underneath, and evenly stacked the eggs on it.

By putting on a solar lamp to shine all night, Shen Ping knew that the normal temperature of the human body is around 37 degrees, and the temperature of the hen is not much different.

Taking into account that the hen has feathers, the temperature would probably be one or two degrees higher, so the temperature for the hen to incubate chicks should be about 38 to degrees. Shen Ping controlled the light at around degrees.

Not only the temperature is important, but the humidity is also important. The humidity must be controlled at 50% to 60%. Too high or too low temperature and humidity will affect the survival rate of hatching chicks.

For the first batch, Shen Ping prepared 500 eggs, all of which she bought in the mall. They were breeding eggs.

The price of this kind of eggs is not expensive, only two cents each. Since these eggs are bought to hatch chicks, it is not considered as reselling, so there is no limit on the quantity.

There were five trays in total, which held about 100 eggs. In order to do the experiment, Shen Ping turned the temporary kitchen into an incubator.

Because it is winter now, the kitchen was open before, but now it has to be completely sealed in order to turn it into an incubation room.
