Hogwarts: Tom is not the Dark Lord

Chapter 190 Mrs. Cole’s Memories

When Tom returned to the Wu's Orphanage, the walls were still mottled, but no longer as tall as the ones he saw when he was a child. It seemed that he would never be able to escape.

There are fewer familiar people and more children with dull expressions.

"Riddle? What are you doing back here..."

The much haggard Mrs. Cole, who was only in her thirties or forties, had a lot of gray hair growing around her ears, and was rubbing her temples tiredly.

"This is not the place you should stay. Leave here...go back to your world. I don't have any extra bread to share with you!"

Tom didn't answer, but stood quietly in the courtyard. The old dean's favorite lounge chair was still in its original position.

He... really still hates it here...

"Mrs. Cole, you have always known this, right... That's why you complained to Professor Dumbledore that I was a weird child..."

With an impatient snort, Mrs. Cole did not refute. Both she and the old dean knew about this, and the strange woman suddenly appeared.

The objects around her were floating up and down after giving birth. How could she forget such a weird thing, let alone this annoying guy...

Being able to make those things move without touching them...

'This is a God-given power...we must keep this secret...'

This is what the old dean once said to her... She originally thought that this secret would not be discovered until she died, but who knew that the gentleman came directly to the door.

"Madam...please tell me, what kind of person is my mother? You know that I am special, and all this comes from my mother..."

"Did she really die in childbirth...I have always doubted this."

Mrs. Cole was silent for a while, then sighed and stepped forward, "Your mother...has lost everything, although I shouldn't say that..."

"But she is indeed not a qualified mother. Perhaps difficult childbirth is not an irreversible situation for people like you..."

............1927............

Mrs. Cole was cleaning the courtyard when she saw a woman walking in at the door holding on to the wall. She threw away the broom and ran over.

"lady?"

Merop raised his head and glanced at the person who came. His eyes were as dim as dead water, and his thin body made his bulging belly look even bigger.

"This is...where..."

"This is Wu's Orphanage. Madam... go in first..."

Mrs. Cole carefully supported Merope. She was afraid that she would accidentally break Merope's arm. Even among the children here, no one was so weak.

Mrs. Cole placed the person in her room to rest, turned around and ran to the dean's office, "Dean, I just saw a lady at the door. Her health is not very optimistic. She is in my room now... ."

"Take me to see..."

The two returned to Mrs. Cole's room and after a brief conversation, they learned about the woman's situation, a poor person who had been ruthlessly abandoned by her husband.

"God, how could someone be so cruel! He would abandon his pregnant wife? Such people should go to hell!"

Merope half leaned against the head of the bed, her eyes flashed when she heard Mrs. Cole's words, "No... you can't blame Tom, he is a very good person, everything is my fault..."

"I can understand what he did, and I don't blame him. I'm not qualified to complain... The past few months with him have been the happiest times in my life..."
