Two days later, Hua Fushu told Ye Zelin that she wanted to give birth to the child.

Hua Fushu leaned on Ye Zelin's back and said, "I had a dream during my nap. I dreamed that a little boy said to me, 'Mom, I'm back to find you.'"

"Is this the reason why you changed your mind and kept the child?" Ye Zelin was a little amused.

"Not entirely. I found that I have become much more sensitive since I became pregnant with this child. When I see the flowers and plants in the yard falling and withering, I feel like crying for some reason. I don't know if it's because I'm older and my heart has softened, or because I became a mother and my mind has become much more sensitive. The arrival of this baby may be a destined fate, otherwise why would I dream about him."

Not only that, Hua Fushu also inexplicably recalled the incident many years ago when she thought she was pregnant but ended up causing a misunderstanding.

Maybe she really was pregnant that year, otherwise why would she dream about that child?

The third child is a boy with a very quiet personality. Hua Fushu likes this youngest son very much. Except for eating and drinking, he basically never cries and makes a fuss. He is very easy to take care of. Unlike his older brothers and sisters, when they were young, their crying and making a fuss at night would make her exhausted.

"This child takes after me. My mother said that when I was little, I just ate and slept. I was the easiest child to take care of." Ye Zelin likes his youngest son very much. This youngest son is simply a replica of him.

The third brother's name followed his elder brother's and the generational structure of the Ye family, so his full name was Ye Tingwei.

This name was originally prepared for Wei Jie'er, but Wei Jie'er is a girl, so this name doesn't sound good. Tingman's name was personally designated by his grandfather before he was born. As soon as the third child was born, his great-grandfather gave this name to the third child.

Hua Fushu felt that the word "威" did not suit the third brother's personality. The third brother was quiet and gentle, so it would be more appropriate to call him Tingwen.

The name is just a code name, it doesn’t matter what it is called.

The old general is getting old, and it is unknown how many nights he can live. The old man likes the younger generation and gives them names. Hua Fushu and Ye Zelin will fulfill the old man's wish.

Probably because the third child was quiet and peaceful in the womb and after birth, Hua Fushu gave him a nickname, An'er.

As parents, we always hope that our children are safe.

Hua Fushu originally said she wanted three children, but now she has two sons and one daughter. She told Ye Zelin that she would not have any more children in the future.

Ye Zelin did not pursue the so-called blessing of having many children. After giving birth to Luo Kui, he thought about not letting his wife have children anymore.

The third child was not in his plan at all.

One hundred days after the third brother was born, Ye Zelin wrote a letter to request that Tingman be named the crown prince.

Hua Fushu thought it was too early to confer the title of Crown Prince on his eldest son Tingman, as he was only five years old and it would be possible to wait until he grew up before conferring the title of Crown Prince.

Ye Zelin had his considerations. He said, "If we only had Tingman as our son, it wouldn't be too late to ask for the title of Crown Prince when Manman grows up. But we have two sons. If I ask for the title of Crown Prince earlier and confirm Manman's status, it can also avoid the two brothers fighting over the title of Crown Prince in the future."

"No, An'er will not compete with his brother for these things." Hua Fushu said firmly.

Ye Zelin hugged his youngest son and kissed his forehead. "That's not what I meant. Our An'er will definitely be a good child in the future. I asked for Manman to be the crown prince to prepare for the training of Tingman. Tingman will inherit the title of Duke of the Protectorate in the future. I asked for him to be the crown prince so that he would know his responsibilities."

Having said this, Hua Fushu said nothing more and agreed with Ye Zelin's reasons.

Tingman is their eldest son and the older brother of the other children. Tingman has the responsibilities and obligations he should bear.

Soon, the petition to confer the title of Crown Prince was approved, and from that day on, Tingman became the Crown Prince of the Duke of Huguo's Mansion.

When Tingman was six years old, Ye Zelin gave him a courtesy name.

Ye Tingman, the young master of the Duke of Huguo's Mansion, whose courtesy name is Huaixi.

Huai Xi and Luo Kui are both names of medicines, but Hua Fushu understands that the two words Huai Xi represent special meanings.

I miss the evening and the sun.

Ye Zelin gave Tingman the name Huaixi to express his remembrance and nostalgia for the late emperor.

He had a deep affection for the late emperor.

Boys usually get a courtesy name when they reach the age of twenty. Although Tingman is only six years old, Hua Fushu would not object to giving him a courtesy name.

In the 12th year of the Kangding reign, Princess Anguo died at the age of eighty. Emperor Zhao Yingyi posthumously named Princess Anguo as Princess Cihe Anguo, suspended court for three days, and the whole country mourned.

In the 15th year of Kangding, Northern Liao invaded the border of Song Dynasty. Ye Zelin, the Protector of the Country, led his troops to attack Northern Liao, accompanied by his wife Hua Fushu. Two months later, the Liao army was defeated and returned, and Song and Liao signed a ceasefire agreement. From then on, the border of Song and Liao began to be peaceful for 30 years, and the people of the border lived and worked in peace.

"Mother, mother——"

As soon as Hua Fushu returned to the Duke of Huguo's Mansion, several children ran towards her like light swallows.

Tingman hugged Hua Fushu's back tightly, Luokui held her hand, and three-year-old An'er hugged her right leg. The little ones couldn't wait to express their longing for her.

"You guys let mother go." Ye Zelin, who had not yet taken off his military uniform, strode over.

As soon as the three little guys saw their daddy, they immediately let go of Hua Fushu.

"Daddy!"

Luo Kui loved her father the most. As soon as she let go of her mother, she ran towards Ye Zelin like a happy little deer and threw herself into her father's arms.

Ye Zelin picked up his daughter and saw that her facial features were very similar to his, but her lively personality was very similar to her mother.

Luo Kui was chattering about family matters, her little mouth moving up and down, unable to stop. Ye Zelin did not interrupt his daughter, but listened attentively.

It was not until Sanqiao, Lizhi and the children's grandmother arrived that the children reluctantly parted with their parents.

Mrs. Ouyang took the children to play.

Lizhi said, "Madam, I learned that you and the Duke will return today, and I have prepared hot water."

"You guys go ahead and do your work, we'll be there soon."

Sanqiao and Lizhi bowed and helped the accompanying guards to deliver the clothes of the two masters back to Guanju Pavilion.

The mid-autumn sunshine is warm and comfortable, and there is a gentle breeze in the corridors of the garden.

Hua Fushu turned around and looked at Ye Zelin, put his arms around his neck, and asked softly, "Do you think having too many children is annoying?"

Ye Zelin raised the corner of his mouth slightly.

He has no say on this issue and his opinion does not count.

Hua Fushu looked down at her flat belly and said, "This child was conceived in the Northern Territory, so let's call him Jibei, okay?"

"I'll do whatever you say." The man in silver armor said gently.

On October 16, the 15th year of the Kangding reign, Hua Fushu was awarded the first-rank imperial edict. She was 30 years old that year.

On the 17th year of Kangding, the emperor passed away and the crown prince Zhao Wuxian ascended the throne. Ye Zelin was transferred to the position of Minister of Rites and concurrently served as Grand Tutor, assisting the new emperor Zhao Wuxian in accordance with the late emperor's will.

……

The Rongguo Mansion held a spring banquet, and Ye Zelin and Hua Fushu were invited.

The flowers in the garden of Duke Rong's mansion were dyed red and the grass and trees were turning green. The two of them admired the spring scenery in the garden and watched the people coming and going.

"Pei Xuan'an is gone." Someone shouted.

The young man turned his head and looked over, only to see a pair of beautiful people standing side by side, playing harmoniously. The young man's lips were curved into a perfect arc, as if he was smiling.

haven't seen you for a long time.

May you be happy and healthy in this life.

Complete book.

----

This article is officially completed today. This is my first signed book and also the first story I have insisted on finishing.

Xiaohua's story has some special meaning to me.

This story was originally conceived in my youth. It took me many years to think about it, although I didn't write it down.

I decided to write down the story of Xiaohua because I was bored and wanted to kill time. When I first started writing this story, I didn't think about finishing it. I thought it might be the same as my previous stories, where I would stop writing halfway and give up.

Later, as I was writing, I decided to finish it. After all, I spent a lot of time and effort on the story of Xiaohua. I think that insisting on finishing the story of Xiaohua can be regarded as an explanation to myself.
