"What, what is this..." His eyes turned to the giant who looked this way for the first time. In the distant sky, darkness fell over the city.

It was a black line that was sucked in by the giant. It can also be seen on the outside. As darkness entered the giant's body, its size gradually expanded.

"Do you want to continue to get bigger..." Everyone's eyes were trembling. Even though the worst-case scenario has been exceeded, the giant continues to expand.

The fear that had already crept up was changing.

Thump thump, there was a heavy pressure on my shoulders.

The monster in front of him began to dominate the entire scene just by his momentum.

--Oops.

Ozwald felt anxious as the Imperial soldiers stopped thinking. If morale is lost now, the battlefield will definitely collapse.

"Is there any way to change the situation..."

He forcibly suppressed his wavering, and while he was thinking, his attention was attracted by something drawn by a darkness, an angry roar and an oppressive shout.

Flying down from the city were the king's knights.

Not long ago, Dutch had been disturbed by the sight. During the fierce battle, a tiny space began to form in the darkness below.

"Is it decreasing?"

Dutch narrowed his eyes and looked down at this puzzling space made of darkness. The city below can be seen through gaps in the space.

"Deputy Captain!!" Hearing the voice, Dutch turned his head, and a knight was walking towards him.

"What's wrong? Hammer."

The knight known as Hammer had just seen the space that Dutch had been overlooking: "Something strange happened."

"What's up?"

"Ralph saw the darkness spreading outside the city."

Dutch frowned, "What?", and then used his fist to knock away the black puppet that suddenly appeared in front of him: "I just feel something is wrong. Lead the way."

Hammer turned and flew forward. Dutch follows Hammer and discovers that Ralph is being played with by a puppet. The doll jumped on his back and right arm. Ralph struggled desperately and shouted: "Let me go! You bastard!!"

Dutch reluctantly removed the puppet and said contemptuously: "What are you doing, idiot!"

Ralph smiled bitterly, regained his breath, and said, "I'm sorry." Hammer also looked at Ralph with a strange expression.

This is the edge of the city, where dolls and darkness rarely appear.

"Ralph, you wouldn't have escaped all the way here, would you?"

"Then, there's definitely nothing like that!" Although Ralph said that, he looked away when Dutch stared at him and said, "No, it's not like that."

Dutch covered his head and shook his head: "So, what did you see?"

Ralph was asked, stood up straight, said, "Yes!" and turned his eyes downward. As he looked, a line of darkness stretched out from the edge of the darkness covering the city.

Dutch frowned: "Let's go take a look." Dutch said, and the three of them followed the darkness.

When they moved to a position where they could peek below, they were suddenly stunned by the sight in front of them. It was a giant. It was so huge that it was impossible to measure its size, leaping over the side of the city.

Below, the knights in chaos were desperately trying to escape. When the giant landed, the surrounding particles were erupted and scattered by the impact.

"What is that?" Ralph muttered, but Dutch's eyes were cast on the giant's back. The darkness stretching from beneath them was being sucked into the giant's back.

Dutch immediately turned to the two men: "Ralph, immediately notify the second team to prepare to attack! Hammer, organize the surrounding knight formations! Immediately!"

Both of them flew up in panic. Dutch watched them leave and took another look at the giant below.

"Damn it. If I had known that something like that would appear, I should have kept William." He muttered regretfully to himself, wiping the sweat from his forehead with his cuffs.

Howls echoed. Facing the dark giant that continues to grow in size, the knights of the kingdom wave their swords to challenge. However, the giant could blow the knights away with the pressure of the wind with just a wave of his hand.

There was no meaning, but Ozwald smiled. They may become demoralized and shout to cheer themselves up every time they are blown away.

"Knights of the kingdom, you are so brave." Ozwald pulled out the sword from his waist and raised it high to show the people around him.

"Look! The knights of the kingdom are challenging that guy without being intimidated! Don't you have any feelings when you see that scene!!"

In order to restore the depressed morale, this was the only way, Ozwald flew towards the giant and said: "Who are we! We are the so-called strongest imperial knights!!"

The knights looked up at Ozwald's back flying overhead, their eyes widened.

"Those who are afraid throw away their swords! Never set foot on the land of the Empire again! Those who are brave enough to face it, follow me! We are the Empire!! Knights of the Kingdom must not fail!!"

Behind him, the Imperial soldiers flew up one after another. The team was a little sparse, but the continuous shouts clearly reached Ozwald's ears.

The giant's head turned to Ozwald, who was leading the way. Then the giant waved his arms, ready to shake him off.

"Spread out!!" Ozwald shouted back, but he immediately looked back with a surprised expression. The giant's arm was approaching him quickly, obviously much faster than the slow speed just now, and he saw it wrong.

"Damn it!"

As he was startled, his vision began to spin rapidly. In an instant, he stopped and found that he was floating high in the air.

"Don't be so reckless. You are not suitable for fighting."

He focused his gaze on the source of the sound and found that it was Sieg holding him standing there. Ozwald breathed a sigh of relief and laughed: "Oh, I am so impulsive."

Ozwald leaves Sieg and looks down at the giant below. It seemed that all the Imperial soldiers except himself had veered off course and scattered.

"Zig, how is your majesty?"

"Leave it to Lieutenant Colonel Alke. Because they can't handle it, please go back and help as soon as possible."

"Well, there are two ministers over there though. I understand."

"By the way, what is that?"

Sieg asked while staring at the giant below, but Ozwald shook his head: "Well, this is a monster that neither magic nor swords can deal with."

"Is there anything I can do? It looks like I can't fight."

"Your job is to figure it out."

Sieg muttered, "Eh?" He pursed his lips slightly.

"For the time being, command is given to you. You can delay or do anything. You have to hold on until I come back."

Although Sieg was not satisfied, he nodded.
