A land of orcs with more men and fewer women
Chapter 215 Intergenerational Answers
There were no words for a moment.
Quinta's second husband, Sennasha, came out to smooth things over: "It's almost time. Let's get on the antelope car first. I've made an appointment with Seth to meet at the teleportation array."
Everyone got on the antelope car one after another.
The camel antelope cart pulled everyone away. Lilith turned around and looked back through the curtain of the carriage. This tall house that used to be their home seemed to be getting lonely without their family.
The octagonal reception room on the left side of the tall house was the activity room she often stayed in. There was a tree planted next to the window, and Lilith stayed there with it every day for nearly seven years.
A leaf separated from the branch, swirled and fell in front of the closed door of the tall house.
Lilith turned her head and left it behind.
In the carriage, the sadness on Ah Mu’s face was still there, and Lilith’s heartbeat became very slow...
She thought to herself, I am my mother's child, and my mother is also Grandpa Samur's child.
Today's separation must be painful for my mother.
Lilith had never realized this before. She seemed to only feel and receive love from her mother unilaterally.
The atmosphere in the carriage was quiet. The three little orcs, including Lilith, were sensible enough not to disturb their mother who was the saddest.
The carriage swayed as the antelopes ran.
Kunta held the hands of her first husband Main and second husband Sainasha on both sides. She said abruptly: "When the children grow up, I want to go back to Lila to accompany my father until the end of his life."
Her tears unconsciously slid down her cheeks: "I can't...I can't accept that my father will grow old without me."
Without waiting for the first husband Main and the second husband Senasha to reply, Kunta took a deep breath, closed his eyes, squeezed out all the tears in his eyes, and tried his best to control his emotions.
"Sorry, did I scare you?" Kunta adjusted his state and looked at the three little orcs with a smile, hoping that his sudden loss of composure did not scare them.
Antonio silently held Quinta's hand and shook his head gently.
Pappas' orange eyes were tearful, like a puppy that had been kicked hard.
Lilith did not move, her deep blue eyes showing a tolerance that was not in line with her age. She used her eyes to silently support Kunta, her mother.
Flowing emotions do not need words. They are like air, often surrounding people in love naturally.
Suddenly, Kunta smiled: "I am so lucky."
"Of course, you have me. I'll accompany you wherever you go." The second husband, Senasha, put his arm around Kunta's shoulders, and his thick golden hair entangled with Kunta's.
He stared at Papas opposite him, his eyes fixed on him, his orange eyes sparkling.
"Me too." The first husband Maine stretched out his other hand, wrapped Kunta's hand that was pressed on the back of his hand in the center.
Lilith is different from her two ignorant little brothers. She can understand the conversation between her parents and knows the importance of it.
The carriage shook, and Lilith's heart shook too.
When they reached the teleportation array, the camel antelope vehicle stopped. Lilith had the same answer as her mother.
Perhaps because there is a teleportation array nearby, there are a lot of orcs coming and going here.
The adults said their final goodbyes to each other, and the little orcs also said their own goodbyes.
Lilith took the opportunity to give Rouxi a final hug.
Rouxi asked quietly, "Can I come with you?"
Lilith was so shocked that she looked around, patted Rouxi's back, and replied in a low voice: "You are too young, everyone must be worried!"
Rouxi was not sad after getting the answer, as she had expected it. She was just a little disappointed: "But, I really want to go."
"You are too young and not in good health. The adults will be worried. Rouxi, you should eat more animal meat, which contains energy." Lilith comforted her.
"Well..." Rouxi hugged Lilith tightly, "Don't forget me!"
"Of course!" Rouxi was Lilith's only friend of the same age, how could she forget him.
"I will definitely come to find you!" Rouxi said fiercely.
"What?!" Lilith stared in surprise, eager to confirm with Rouxi what she had just heard.
Rouxi ran back to the Kurta family's antelope cart and made a "hush!" gesture to Lilith.
"Huh? Do you have a secret?" The third brother Papas strolled over and asked Lilith suspiciously.
"No!" Lilith shouted.
"Oh?" Pappas didn't believe it.
"Really!" Lilith shouted even louder.
"Okay, I made a mistake." Pappas rubbed the back of his head, "We are about to enter the teleportation array, Lilith, you have to hold my hand tightly."
