HP: The Shadow Returns

Chapter 120 Punishment

Theodore didn't know how he returned to the manor. He was always in a daze. He could only feel alive when he could smell the fragrance on Sansaro's body.

The moonlight was bright, shining through the clean glass on the large, white bed in the bedroom.

Sansaro, wearing a satin suspender nightgown, hugged Theodore, who had been silently nestling in her neck, and stroked his head.

Ever since he used the Death Curse, he had become as quiet as if his soul had left his body, even though he had always been a quiet person.

But now, Theodore's state was clearly not to her liking.

Disappointment flashed across Sansaro's green eyes, she reached out to lift his chin, looked down at the dull blue eyes and asked

"Are you still scared? Theodore"

There was no sign of resistance on Theodore's pale face. His slightly dry lips trembled, and his words contained prayer.

"I don't know...don't despair, please."

He seemed to be aware of the flash of emotion in the girl's eyes, and her whole person gradually became a little uneasy.

"I don't want that either"

Sansaro looked down at him. Under the cold moonlight, those eyes seemed to be born with ruthlessness.

His eyes couldn't help but fall on the girl wearing only a suspender skirt under the milky white moonlight. The vaguely plump body that was wrapped was charming and dangerous.

Theodore gritted his teeth and forced himself to look away.

The corners of Sansaro's mouth curved slightly, and her dark, slightly curly hair hung lazily by her side.

She tilted her head slightly, her pink lips opening and closing with malice.

Everything was blurred, as if the sky was covered with a thin layer of white gauze, swaying in the air, no one knew where it wanted to go.

The night was set against the backdrop of the howlings of Thestrals in the castle. The three pythons seemed to have noticed something. They raised their heads high and then fell silent again.

......

Near noon the next day, Theodore vaguely woke up from the soft bed. He raised his hand to block the dazzling sunlight, stood up and rubbed his head.

I found that there was no one around me.

While he was still confused, memories of the night flooded into his mind.

Theodore lifted the messy hair from his ears. He was stunned for a moment, then the corners of his mouth turned up, and his pale face turned rosy with joy.

The citrus scent that filled the room enveloped him.

But at this moment, the door suddenly opened. Theodore reacted very quickly and directly pulled up the quilt to cover himself. He frowned and asked

"Is there a problem?"

A manservant in a white shirt walked in and put aside his clean and tidy new clothes with dull eyes, as well as new shoes, a complete set from the inside out.

"Are you going to get up?"

It seemed that he wanted to wait for Theodore to get dressed before leaving.

"Yes, but I can do it myself. You can go out."

Theodore refused him bluntly and took a cold shower before changing his clothes and walking out.

The manservant was still standing at the door, half-bent, and said with dull eyes.

"The master said that you can take a look around the castle first, and she will come to you after she finishes handling the matter."

"Is she busy?" Theodore felt a little disappointed. Maybe she was still dissatisfied with her performance in killing yesterday.

"I don't know when the master will end things." There is no difference between what the servant said and what he didn't say.

"All right"
