HP: The Shadow Returns

Chapter 146 What a pity

Soon it was time to go to the appointment, but by chance, a bunch of dark clouds gathered in the sky, blocking the sun. There was a cold wind blowing in the gloomy sky, and the dry branches made an intrusive rustling sound.

Sansaro walked leisurely to the Forbidden Forest in a thick robe, not far from Hagrid's hut. She looked up and saw Hermione sitting on a stone pier.

Her face looked a little haggard, and a flash of determination supported her to stand up like motivation.

"You came."

"Yeah, I'm sorry about Harry and Ron," Sansaro said with a hint of regret on his face. He came up to get closer, but Hermione took a step back.

"I just came here to take care of Krum. There may be some blood smell on him."

Sansaro's eyes flashed with interest, and he was startled for a moment, then quickly nodded in understanding.

“It’s really hard work”

"No, he saved me. This is what I should do." Hermione looked at her with a calm tone, which was completely different from her usual appearance.

"Then why did you come to me for help?" She asked with a smile still on her face.

Hermione was silent for a long time, just looking at herself silently. After a long time, she tentatively said

"You, do you know Virta?"

Sansaro raised his chin slightly and pursed his lips as if he didn't know. "I've never heard of this name. What's wrong with this person?"

"You really haven't heard of it?" Hermione asked again, staring at herself without blinking.

"Is there any problem? Do you think she is related to me?" Sansaro asked with a gloomy expression.

She didn't speak and stood there for a long time.

"Actually, I have been thinking, why did you enter Slytherin? Because of your strength? Or because... you belong there to begin with..."

"I think the Sorting Hat has its reasons, doesn't it?" Sansaro raised his eyebrows and continued.

"The moment we entered the castle, we didn't know where we would go. This is what all little wizards will experience."

"But you are different from ordinary wizards." Hermione's tone gradually became questioning.

"I became a master of potions at the age of 12, and won the trust of almost everyone. I learned advanced transformation at the beginning of school, and got perfect scores in every subject... Are you really a child?"

The atmosphere instantly cooled down, and the two stared at each other in silence.

Sansaro raised his eyebrows, "So, it's my excellence that makes you confused?"

Hermione seemed unwilling to admit this, so she changed the topic

"I've been wondering why Dumbledore targeted you. Is it because of your excellent grades? He is not such a person at all. The Sorcerer's Stone was stolen in the first grade, and we were the only ones on the scene."

"Ron is unconscious, Harry is dueling with the mysterious man, I am with the professor, it's just you, no one knows what you are doing."

"In the second-year Chamber of Secrets, Ron and Harry asked you to go find the professors, but you didn't go at all. We also went to the library to find information about the basilisk, and you didn't say anything when I was petrified!"

She gave examples one by one, and her expression became angry and determined.

"That's because you are acquainted with the mysterious man! There is also Sirius in the third year. He said that he saw a Slytherin girl wearing glasses. There was no one else but you!"

"Peter Pettigrew, you should have known that he was the mouse for a long time. You and Ron only borrowed it to threaten him and lure Sirius out."

"Am I right? Huerta!"

Sansaro remained calm, looked at her with a smile and asked

"What if I say these are all coincidences?"

"Don't be ridiculous, this could all be a coincidence!" Hermione's expression became even more angry. "We have always regarded you as a friend, but you actually want to kill us. How can we be sorry for you!"

"Liar! I actually said good things to you before!" She shouted angrily and hysterically.

Sansaro's expression was calm. She even wanted to drink a cup of tea at this moment.

"You're just here to say this?"

Listening to her cold tone, Hermione immediately confirmed this guess in her heart. She controlled her angry expression and tightened the wand in her pocket.

Sansaro noticed a smile on her lips, but her gentle face looked so terrifying at the moment.

"You should know that it's useless, right? Hermione and Snape are no match for me. It's really strange. He was actually protecting you that day, wasn't it?"

"You're so smart, you should know that I won't come here alone, right?"

Hermione's words were firm, and Huerta's powerful aura made her breathless.

The frightening memories of that day flooded her mind again. Her hair was blown by the cold wind, and her heart could not help but beat in fear.

"Of course I know, you are so smart, you must have a lot of backup options." Sansaro raised her arm casually, flipped her palm, and a piece of paper appeared in her pale hand, and she looked at it casually.

"It was really careful to write down my identity and put it in the textbook."

Hermione's eyes widened in surprise. It didn't matter. She had other options. Her hands were trembling and she was breathing uncontrollably. "Calm down, Hermione."

"Oh, there is another person, right? What is her name?"

Sansaro blew lightly and casually as if chatting with a friend, and the note on his fingertips turned into black mist and dispersed.

Hermione shook her head in disbelief after hearing this, "She has already gone to tell the professors, you can't find her."

"Oh...I remembered"

Sansaro raised his hand and slowly took off his glasses, revealing his evil eyes and white and beautiful face, looking at her leisurely.

When Hermione saw it, she was so frightened that her whole body became weak and she couldn't think of any resistance. Until she said the name, Hermione's heart dropped.

"Katie Bell, right? I think I've met her before. She's an interesting girl."

With a smile on her face, Sansaro breathed a sigh of relief and wiped her glasses carelessly. She asked incitingly with her thin lips.

"Honey, right?"

"I don't think she's that interesting"

Theodore's cold voice suddenly appeared, and Hermione turned her head slowly and stiffly, only to see that Katie had been firmly controlled by him, and the poor girl struggled and fell to the ground.

Theodore looked cold and stepped on her back with his foot without mercy.

"too weak"

"Hermione...what happened?" Katie asked tremblingly with fear on her face.

Hermione regretted it for a moment. She shouldn't have involved other people. She had already seen how strong Virta was, but she didn't expect that her ability to act was far more terrifying than imagined.

However, she still has the last line of defense, doesn't she?

"If he wanted to help you, he would have appeared a long time ago. It's a pity that Moody is not real."

Sansaro came to her slowly, his elegant body blocking most of the light, and his pitiful eyes were like looking at a lamb waiting to be slaughtered.

"What?" Hermione sat down on the ground. She slowly turned her head and looked towards where Moody was hiding. The numb and ferocious man on crutches was watching everything with interest.

"I thought you would be smarter and ask for Dumbledore." Sansaro lowered his eyes and looked calmly at Hermione, who looked stunned.

"It was you who sent Harry to the Triwizard Tournament!" Hermione screamed in sudden realization. She understood everything in an instant.

"Yeah, but unfortunately, it's too late."

Sansaro clicked her tongue with regret and looked at Theodore

"I'm so sorry, Katie, who let your friend Hermione involve you in this?"

Theodore understood what she meant, he raised his lips, took out his wand, and pointed it at Katie, who was lying on the ground shaking like a fish on a chopping board, terrified.

"No, please, don't do this, I won't say anything." She whispered but her plea received no mercy from Sansaro.

Under the blowing clouds, Theodore's black robe fluttered like an evil ghost from hell.
