HP: The Shadow Returns

Chapter 16 Sorting Ceremony

Finally, after Principal Dumbledore finished speaking, Professor McGonagall unfolded the scroll in her hand and said

"Okay, children, when you hear my name, come forward and put on the sorting hat. It will send you to the most suitable place."

"Hannah Abbott!"

A little girl with golden brown hair walked up timidly. Mag picked up the hat and asked the girl to sit on the chair.

"Hufflepuff!" the hat shouted after a pause for a few seconds. The loud voice spread throughout the entire hall, and loud applause immediately broke out from the table where Cedric was sitting.

The sorting ceremony continued. Sansaro looked at the nervous expressions of these children and stroked the owl.

This furry feeling is simply addictive to her, and perhaps it has become a little habit of hers.

"Oh, my God, my brother also said that the branch had to fight an adult fire dragon! They lied to me again." Ron's complaining voice reached her ears.

Granger rolled her eyes behind him, but she looked nervous too.

"Draco Malfoy!" shouted Professor McGonagall.

Malfoy walked out of the crowd and looked at the shabby hat with some disgust, but he shouted before the hat even touched a hair on his head.

"Slytherin!"

There was fierce applause from the table on the far left. They welcomed purebloods very much, especially Malfoy.

Malfoy looked at Harry very proudly and walked over, sitting directly at the front of the table with his legs crossed, and they happily shook hands with him.

After a few more people were sorted, Ron and Hermione were sorted to Gryffindor.

"Harry Potter!"

As soon as the name came out, Sansaro noticed that everyone's eyes were almost focused on this little savior. Even Dumbledore, who was sitting on the main seat, looked at him with bated breath.

Harry swallowed, walked up slowly, and put the hat on his head.

Several minutes passed, but there was still no reaction from the Sorting Hat. Sansaro's lenses glowed with a cold light. Could it be that he was affected by something?

After observing so much, she felt that the hats should be sorted according to their character or a certain bloodline blessing.

Most of the purebloods went to Slytherin, and a large number of the smart and quiet ones also went to Ravenclaw. It was not surprising that Granger went to Gryffindor. Sansaro looked at the Sorting Hat on the head of the Savior. She yelled Gryffindor, and the corners of her mouth curled up.

It seems that most of them are classified based on character and conduct... So where will it be classified if someone like me...

Slytherin?

The Gryffindor table cheered, and a pair of red-haired twins, who looked like the Weasley twins, shouted

"We have Harry! We have Harry Potter!"

Sansaro only looked at them coldly and then looked away. They were really a noisy family.

The sorting ceremony continued. After a handsome boy named Blaise Zabini was sorted into Slytherin, only Sansaro was left.

Cedric kept his eyes fixed here, and he was actually a little nervous.

The girl came up with an owl in her arms, and Professor McGonagall didn't say much. After all, there was no school rule that clearly stipulated that pets were not allowed to be taken with them for the sorting test.

"Ced, you are almost flying, please calm down, okay?" Charlotte said helplessly, pulling Cedric's shoulders.

"Feel sorry.."

"It's okay, good buddy, I also hope she can come to Hufflepuff, but please look at the eyes of the girls around you, okay? The way they look at you is almost like spitting out flames."

Only then did Cedric react. He sat back on his chair uneasily and looked at the girl in the sorting hospital.

Sansaro was talking to the hat on her head at the moment, and the Sorting Hat was talking to herself in confusion.

"Empty? Why so empty? Oh, wait, look what I found."

it seemed to laugh

"You are very revengeful. You seem to be chasing strength. Although this is very good, I have to remind you that strength does not mean everything."

"So where will you sort me? Mr. Sorting Hat?" Sansaro asked.

It became silent again, and at this time two or three minutes had passed outside. Cedric clenched his fists and had some bad premonitions.

Sure enough, a few seconds later, the Sorting Hat was caught off guard and shouted "Slytherin!"

Cedric gasped for a moment, and Charlotte was also very unbelievable. He could never imagine how a shy and introverted little girl could enter Slytherin?

Ron and Harry were also a little shocked because they had just sat in a carriage with a Slytherin.

"But it's quite reasonable. Her owl wants to eat my Scabbers." Ron thought for a moment, and used his brain that couldn't pretend to have too many things to figure out the reason why Sansaro entered Slytherin.

Harry didn't think much of it, he even thought Sansaro was a gentler person, but looking at the thin girl, he didn't say anything in the end.

"What? That Muggle?" Parkinson was also in disbelief.

"You said she is a Muggle? How is that possible? Slytherin never accepts Muggles, so she must be a half-blood no matter what."

Zabini, who was sitting diagonally across from her, retorted that they seemed to be familiar with each other. Malfoy was also right next to them, and their eyes showed their indifference to Sansaro.

Obviously, Slytherin didn't seem to welcome her under Parkinson's lead.

Sansaro understands this very well

Facing the long Slytherin table with sparse applause, she hugged the Slav and sat in the back row. There was no one here, even the half-bloods sat in front.

Cedric cast a worried look, and the girl just smiled at him. This was reasonably considered by Cedric to be mature and strong, and he let out a long sigh.

No matter how hard he tried, he didn't know why Sansaro went to Slytherin.

At the end of the sorting ceremony, Principal Dumbledore, who was sitting in the middle, stood up to prepare his final concluding speech. All four houses fell silent.

he raised his hand

"Idiot! Crying! Residue! Screw it! Thank you everyone!"

Then he sat down again, and from in front of him came Malfoy's unabashed ridicule, "Hogwarts is really a place where old lunatics gather."

Everyone around him burst into laughter.

Sansaro didn't quite agree with what he said. After all, no matter what Dumbledore was, he was much better than the current Malfoy, but he would not take it seriously with such an extremely ignorant person.

The long table in front of me suddenly changed into a lot of delicious food, including shiny roast chicken, lamb chops, steaks and many small fruits...

Because she had not eaten the food prepared by Cedric before, Sansaro was already a little hungry at this moment. She picked up the tableware and started to enjoy the food in front of her, but the first thing she tried was her favorite citrus-flavored pudding.

The taste is quite good, but it's still much worse than fresh citrus.

Halfway through eating, many ghosts flew out of the wall. They shuttled between the long tables of different houses. Sansaro also caught a glimpse of the ghost on the Gryffindor table taking off his own head.

Looking at the bloody broken neck, she was reminded of Perfa... Sansaro put down the knife and fork in her hand calmly with a brow. Very good, now she has no appetite at all.

There must be a ghost on the Slytherin table, Sansaro was very sure, because he had just sat opposite her, with empty eyes, a thin face, and silver stains on his robes.

It looked quite scary, but she didn't think much of it. She could tell from the expressions on the faces of the young wizards in front. It seemed that he didn't like crowded places either?

Sansaro guessed, and the Slav in his arms tilted his head slightly and stared at the ghost opposite to judge the opponent's strength.

"You are very powerful." The ghost with empty eyes just now suddenly said to her, "Bloody Barrow, the ghost of Slytherin."
