HP: The Shadow Returns

Chapter 3 Cedric

A warm smile appeared on Cedric's face and he stretched out his hand. His dark gray eyes shone like stars in the sky. Sansaro showed a faint smile on his face and raised his hand to shake his hand gently.

Feeling the softness in his hands, his face showed shock. How could he be so thin? Realizing the offense of his thoughts, the very gentleman Cedric quickly pushed these thoughts out of his mind.

"Merlin, your hands are so cold. Please keep warm in winter, otherwise you will catch a cold."

He immediately raised his hand and took off his coat as he spoke. The fine quality and the thick fur collar showed that it was not cheap.

Sansaro hugged the bread and lowered her eyes. Before she could say anything, another itching surged into her throat.

"....cough cough cough"

Seeing the fragile look of the girl covering her mouth, he strengthened his inner thoughts, and his bright gray eyes were slightly bent.

"It's okay, I'll take you back. It's not safe for a girl to be alone at night, isn't it? Come back to me when you get home."

"And I wear a lot of clothes, so I don't have to worry about getting cold."

Although Sansaro didn't like being close to others, the cold weather prevented her from making too many choices, and the boy named Cedric in front of her seemed a little too kind.

Cedric gently put the coat on the girl's body, and a warmth soon covered Sansaro's body.

"Wait a minute, let me send him to a place with people first, otherwise he will freeze to death overnight like this."

Sansaro looked at Cedric's staggering figure as he pulled the man out of the snowdrift, and didn't quite understand what he was doing. After all, there was no point in living for such a person...

Although he thought so in his heart, seeing Cedric struggling, Sansaro still pretended to be kind and walked forward and whispered.

"Let me use my magic power to help you."

Cedric looked at this very thin and well-behaved girl wrapped in his coat, her face was already engraved with understanding and maturity.

"Trouble"

"not at all"

Finally, with the support of her magic power, they put the man at the door of a shop without much effort, and the two turned and left.

The snake shadow hidden in the dark squirmed, and Sansaro followed Cedric with a mysterious and cruel smile on his lips.

Walking in the woods, a thin layer of sweat appeared on Cedric's forehead. His cheeks were red and he said to the girl embarrassedly.

"I'm really sorry, because underage wizards in school can't use magic outside of school."

"Isn't it okay to use it secretly?"

Sansaro asked, holding her chest and looking sideways as she walked side by side with him on the forest path.

"Every young wizard who arrives at Hogwarts will have a tracer installed in his wand by the Ministry of Magic." Cedric lowered his head and patiently answered the girl's doubts.

"You seem to be a little weak," he continued.

"Yes"

"Then you should take better care of yourself. The recent flu has infected many wizards. I heard them say that the process is very uncomfortable."

Cedric suddenly asked

"So, someone in your family is a wizard?"

Sansaro shook his head, stretched out his hand to hold the glasses on the bridge of his nose, "Not really."

He looked at the girl huddled in the coat like a rabbit, and a smile appeared on his face.

"Is that so... Then I can take you to Diagon Alley to buy the things you need for the start of school. I can tell the professor who is going to take you there. Do you remember who it is?"

Sansaro turned to look at Cedric. Under the pure white light, there was a magnanimous smile on his fair and gentle face, as if such a thing as hate would never appear on Cedric.

She looked away, pursed her lips and asked deliberately

"Thank you, it's a fat witch wearing a brown hat, but why do you want to help me?"

"That sounds like our dean." Cedric raised his hand and scratched the back of his head in confusion and said with a smile, "Besides, aren't we supposed to help each other?"

She smiled and walked silently without saying another word. Her cold lenses shone coldly, and she didn't know whether she was mocking or sighing in her heart.

What a rare act of innocence and justice....

Cedric felt Sansaro's silence, so he calmed down and walked quietly in the squeaking snow. The rest of the journey was so peaceful and accompanied by the whirring sound of the wind and snow. pass.

Sansaro's body defense seemed to have reached its limit at this moment, and her head had begun to twitch and hurt.

When I walked to the house, I saw that there were no traces. The man hadn't come back yet, and he probably wouldn't come back tonight...

"Thank you for the clothes, Mr. Diggory."

Sansaro took off her coat and handed it to Cedric. The chill mixed with snowflakes rushed in, and her already sick face turned pale again.

He took the coat and swung it gently over his body. There was obviously a cold fragrance inside the warmth. Cedric couldn't help but be stunned for a moment. The blush on his cheeks was either from shyness or the wind.

"You're welcome, Miss Nasitan... Actually, you don't have to be so anxious to return the clothes to me. Please go back now. If you are weak, you cannot let the cold wind blow."

The howling wind blew by, and Cedric's black hair fluttered in the wind, and his energetic face glowed softly. Sansaro looked at him for a few seconds, then turned around and walked in and said

"wait for me a while"

"Oh..Okay." Cedric watched the girl's thin figure disappear behind the dark door, and he couldn't help but tighten his tight clothes.

Sansaro found a relatively intact copper candlestick from the messy living room floor, blew on it to light it, and wrapped it with magic so that the flame would not go out.

After finishing, she slowly opened a crack in the door and handed it to Cedric and said quickly.

"Be careful on the road"

After saying that, he closed the door. Cedric, who was holding a warm candlestick outside the door, had not yet reacted. Then he smiled helplessly on his face. Miss Sansaro was really a gentle person at heart.

Standing on the second floor, watching Cedric's back holding a candlestick in the snow as he walked away, Sansaro stood in front of the window, the flashing white lenses covering the indifference rolling in the girl's eyes.

"....cough cough cough"

She leaned against the wall to support her weak body, and Fides and Bacca also lay beside the window with their pointed heads slightly tilted, as if to identify Sansaro's state.

"never mind...."

The pain in Sansaro's brain intensified. She raised her hands to rub her temples, threw away those thoughts, turned around, picked up the completely cold bread on the table, sat down at the cold table and ate it.

After eating, she quickly washed up, took off her glasses and lay down on the hard wooden bed. The quilt with not much cotton wadding couldn't keep her warm at this season, but fortunately, the lingering black mist wrapped her tightly and could keep her warm. Provides a steady stream of heat.

The girl curled up and slept with Baka and Fides beside her. She gradually fell asleep with her messy thoughts.

In the darkness, endless nightmares, like hidden monsters at the bottom of the sea, struggled and roared, dragging Sansaro toward the abyss.

The next morning, due to the cold wind blowing last night and the nightmares he had all night, Sansaro undoubtedly did not sleep well, and there was still a faint cyan under his bloodless eyelids.

The man still hasn't come back, and Sansaro doesn't care about it. After all, she has more important things to be busy with.

And now...the girl calls out the black mist again, and it's feeding time.
