Chapter 45 Malfoy and Licoris break up
"After all, you just want to protect Neville Longbottom?" Malfoy sneered, "Can you protect him?"
It feels like it doesn't make sense to him.
What he cares about is that Malfoy, as the vice-president, takes action against members who come to the club to study. What he cares about is that he has intersection with people from Gryffindor House.
And, refuted his words.
"I didn't protect Neville Longbottom." Calm Lycoris replied, "He has Gryffindor to back him up."
"You also know that he is from Gryffindor? Ha!" Malfoy sneered, "I thought you didn't know."
Licolis was a little troubled, and the angry Malfoy couldn't listen to her words.
"You see you have nothing to say? You are a traitor." Malfoy glared at her.
"I didn't betray you, not before, not now." Licoris could only take advantage of the situation.
"Didn't you just threaten me for Neville Longbottom?" The more he thought about it, the more angry he became. Malfoy took a deep breath.
"It's not for him." Licoris explained.
"You...I..." Malfoy didn't know what to say because of her explanation, "In short, I don't want to see you again."
The light golden color left her sight, and Licoris sighed inwardly.
Draco Malfoy broke up with Lycoris and didn't get over it until he returned to the dormitory.
Draco Malfoy is obviously a smart and somewhat arrogant boy, but when he meets Potter and Gryffindor, it's like he's being forcibly enlightened.
Licoris was lost in thought, not knowing what she was thinking.
Neville Longbottom returned to Gryffindor crying, and everyone knew that Draco Malfoy was bullying others again.
"How did you come back?" Hermione asked the key, looking out of place among a group of Gryffindors who shared the same hatred.
"Of course Neville unlocked it himself." Ron said affirmatively, "I just said that our Gryffindor is the best. Could it be that Malfoy unlocked it himself?"
"It was... Malfoy untied it himself," Neville sobbed and took a breath, "Miss Snape helped me and he untied it."
Neville Longbottom was an honest boy and did not hide this matter.
"You must have read wrong. Why would she, a Slytherin, help you? It would be nice if she didn't help Malfoy bully you." Ron believed what he saw more, "She is Malfoy's follower."
Neville Longbottom said nothing as he thought of that figure.
"Look, I said you were wrong." Ron said proudly, "Harry, you think so."
"Huh?" Harry was so preoccupied with Professor Snape being the referee in the Quidditch match that he didn't hear clearly what they were discussing.
After he listened to Ron's vivid description, he thought for a while and said, "I don't understand why she would help you. Stop crying, I'll give this to you."
Harry took out the chocolate frog and handed it to Neville. He would feel better if he had some sweets.
"You are better than Malfoy, you are in Gryffindor. Where is Malfoy? That annoying Slytherin." Harry comforted Neville.
Hermione frowned, thinking of Lycoris' relieved smile.
Was she treated like this just because she was a Slytherin?
If she were a Gryffindor student and saved Neville from Malfoy, she would definitely be praised for her bravery and kindness.
Because she was in Slytherin, no matter what she did, she had an ulterior motive and was annoying.
Hermione remembered what Lycoris said, I like Slytherin as much as you like Gryffindor.
The girl was lost in thought.
Neville reluctantly ate the chocolate and handed the card back to Harry - it was the Headmaster.
He said goodbye to everyone and went back to sleep, tired of crying.
"I found it!" Harry suddenly remembered, holding the card.
Hermione came to her senses, "What did you remember?"
After explaining to each other, Hermione took out the book she borrowed.
It turns out that what Professor Snape wanted to steal was the Philosopher's Stone.
The three children looked at each other.
Only Hermione had other ideas in mind. She still felt that Professor Quirrell was more suspicious.
Professor Snape is the referee this time. If he has a problem, he will definitely take action. Ron will be watching him.
I have to keep an eye on Professor Quirrell.
Alice didn't go to the Gryffindor-Hufflepuff Quidditch match, and she wasn't interested. It’s not my own team, I have to participate for the sake of collective honor.
She has more important things to do.
Snape, whose head was covered by a cloak, pulled down his hood and saw his goddaughter standing in front of him, holding Lady Norris in her arms and humming a song.
"Let's go play." Licoris knelt down and let Mrs. Loris jump out of her arms.
Why did she come to the staff lounge today? She hasn't been here since the official start of class.
"Won't you invite me to come in and sit down?" Licoris looked up at the young man.
Snape silently allowed her to follow him into the lounge.
"Father, cats and dogs like to listen to songs," Licoris hinted, emphasizing the word "dog," "I just sang to Mrs. Loris, and she almost fell asleep."
Snape hung his cloak on the wooden stand at the door and thought of something when he heard these words.
"What do you want to say?" Snape asked the girl in front of him.
"I didn't want to say anything, father." Lycoris smiled slyly, "I came to get some potions to send to Madam Pomfrey."
There was no shortage of potions at Madam Pomfrey's, Snape had just sent a batch for the Quidditch game.
"You need to make it yourself." Snape wondered what she meant and asked her to stay.
Does she know where she just went? Met Quirrell?
"Okay father." Licolis nodded and rolled up her sleeves.
The girl skillfully made the potion, and Snape watched her smooth operation throughout the process.
Pouring the potion into the bottle, Licoris began to clear the table.
"Father, now that we're done, we should clean up and see if there are any mice, right?" Licolis had something to say, and Mr. Potter followed him, not sure if he knew it or not.
Snape didn't answer and watched her leave.
Cats and dogs all love music...
Snape frowned, suddenly remembering the three-headed dog.
A three-headed dog is also a dog.
Snape looked at the cabinet, where there was the vinyl record player given by Licris.
Did she already start reminding herself so early?
So...she can indeed know the future.
Snape leaned back in the armchair and closed his eyes.
In the future...will I win? Will he be okay?
The professor promised me that he would protect him.
Coming here to get the potion was Licoris's excuse, mainly to tell her godfather how to deal with the three-headed dog, and to remind him to remember to use magic spells if he wanted to avoid people when chatting.
Although the magic spell to block prying eyes and snooping might not be useful, for example, she used the magic spell to isolate her last chat with Malfoy, but she knew that Dumbledore would definitely hear it.
Absolute strength, really envious.
