HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 322 Luna’s missing shoes

A few days later, the full moon night approaches.

Aces calculated the time, took out the prepared wolfsbane potion, and prepared to send it to Lupine.

For his own reasons, Lu Ping likes to stay alone in the office when he is not in class.

When Asseth entered, he was staring blankly at the little wizards having Quidditch class outside the window, his eyes nostalgic.

"excuse me."

Lupine did not look back, but still looked out the window.

Seeing that Lupine hadn't noticed him yet, Artes knocked on his desk again, finally calling Lupine back who was immersed in his own world.

"Professor Cavendish."

Lupine turned around and saw that it was Arthas saying hello, and his eyes fell on the potion in Artess's hand.

Artes raised his hand slightly and shook it at Lupine, "Wolfsbane potion, remember to drink it on time."

"Thank you, Professor Cavendish." Lupine walked over and took the potion, thanking him gently.

Asseth nodded to him, saying you're welcome, then turned and left.

When he reached the corner, Asseth looked back at the door of the Defense Against Dark Arts office with a stern look in his eyes.

"You'd better remember to drink, otherwise you'll be beaten..."

The sound became softer and softer, and was finally drowned out by the messy footsteps coming up the stairs.

Aces raised his head and glanced at the stairs. The two messy voices were opposite to each other.

As expected, two reckless figures suddenly rushed out, but Asses was already prepared to avoid them.

"boom--"

The two people who collided fell backwards due to the impact of each other. Aces frowned, waved his hand and used magic to catch the two of them.

"It's class time now, don't you explain why you are here?"

Hermione, who had just stood firm, heard Artes' voice and looked up hurriedly.

But she found that Asseth was not looking at her, but was staring closely at the person she collided with, his face looking a little ugly for no reason.

"Miss Lovegood, where are your shoes?"

Hermione followed Artes's gaze and realized that Luna was barefoot on the ground.

"It is you."

Luna raised her head in a daze, looking at Artes with her silver eyes blankly, her tone was as light as before on the Hogwarts Express.

"They're just where they're supposed to be."

Hermione frowned, about to say something.

Artes suddenly looked at Hermione.

"Okay, Miss Granger, shouldn't you be in class now?"

Hermione was interrupted by Artes, and she couldn't help but recall her impulsive act of leaving the classroom. She immediately lowered her head, not daring to look at Artes's expression, and didn't know how to explain it.

"I...Trelawney taught her..."

Seeing her expression and combining it with her personality and the content of the divination class, Asseth almost understood everything, "No need to explain."

Hermione looked up sharply, her red hair shaking enthusiastically under her movement.

"Professor Cavendish, you also think Professor Trelawney's class is useless, don't you?"

"All I can tell you is that Professor Trelawney is a true prophet."

After saying that, Artes nodded to Hermione and motioned for her to leave first.

Hermione's expression started to look a little annoyed when she heard what Asseth said. When she saw Asseth asking her to leave, she didn't hesitate and left the place in a hurry.

When she walked away, Asseth looked at Luna.

"Since your shoes are where they are supposed to be, don't go looking for them yet."

As Asseth said, he casually took out two pearls that were used as alchemy materials.

Magic passed over the hand, white light flashed, and the pearl turned into a pair of exquisite women's leather shoes.

Aces handed the women's leather shoes to Luna, "Maybe we can replace them first?"

Luna looked at Asseth for a while, then reached out to take the leather shoes, her voice still vague.

"Thank you, Professor Cavendish."

Aces smiled gently and waited for her to put it on before asking: "What is your class?"

"It's Professor Snape's Potions class."

Luna's tone when she mentioned Snape was still calm, unlike the fear and displeasure in some young wizards' voices.

Because of this, the expression on Asseth's face became gentler, "Let's go then, I'll take you there."

Luna followed Aces in small steps.

The confusion in his silver eyes was even worse, and he stared at Asseth quietly.

"Professor Cavendish, you used to have a lot of bugs in your body, but now they suddenly disappear. Are you happy?"

Aces turned his head slightly and glanced at Luna, with a natural smile on his lips.

“If you can help others, you’ll also feel happy.”

Luna tilted her head in confusion.

Although she thought Asseth was right, was he really happy because of this?

Her brown hair fell to one side, revealing the carrot earrings on her ears.

Artes remembered this earring, which Luna also wore on the Hogwarts Express.

He seems to like carrots.

Aces looked away like a gentleman and complimented politely: "Your earrings are very cute and they suit you very well."

"is it?"

Luna really liked this pair of earrings. When Asses praised them, she couldn't help but reach out and touch them gently, with a light smile on her face.

The two of them chatted and chatted until they walked to the door of the potions classroom.

Aces raised his hand towards Luna and signaled Luna to wait while he knocked on the door.

Luna nodded and stood quietly aside.

Aces stepped forward and knocked on the door.

As soon as there was a knock on the door, the Potions classroom, which was still a little noisy, immediately fell silent, and then there was a burst of whispering, but it disappeared again soon.

The next second, the door opened with a "swish" sound.

The angry potion master looked face to face with Asseth.

The students who were closer saw the person knocking clearly, breathed a sigh of relief, turned their heads and winked at the back, signaling that the crisis was over.

Artes didn't pay attention to their little movements, but just looked at Snape, the smile on his face remained unchanged, and the smile in his eyes became gentler.

"Professor, there was an accident on Miss Lovegood's side, so I sent her over."

Snape looked away from Artes and looked at Luna beside him.

"Miss Lovegood, come in."

Facing the Snake King's cold gaze, Luna was not afraid. She just quietly held the book and walked into the gloomy Potions classroom.

After taking two steps, she turned around.

"Thank you, Professor Cavendish."

After saying that, she left quietly.

Some student inside made a rustling sound, and Snape's face instantly darkened.

He nodded slightly to Asseth and closed the classroom door sadly.
