HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 375 The opening ceremony of the new semester

After the two left the Quidditch World Cup, Harry, who ran into the woods on the other side, reunited with the Weasley family safely.

But the scar on his forehead hurt even more than usual, almost making him faint from the pain.

It was Hermione and Ron who each supported Harry, preventing him from falling completely.

Because of Harry's strange behavior, they had no intention of paying attention to the chaos. After meeting up with the Weasley family, they hurried back to the Burrow.

Arthas didn't know what happened to Harry. He didn't stay long in Spider-End Alley before he was kicked out by Snape to deal with the matter.

A man returns to Cavendish Manor.

Vacation time always passes faster than school time, and it slips away quietly.

The little wizards are about to start school again.

Aces spent most of this holiday in Spider End Alley.

Now that school was starting, he simply followed Snape back to the cellar from Spider End, completely forgetting about Susanna who was still blasting in Germany and Draco who was looking forward to it.

As for why Susanna is in Germany.

That day, the chaotic ending to the Quidditch World Cup was handed over to Joel and Gavin.

The Ministry of Magic failed to catch any Death Eaters, and Fudge did not publicize the fact that Artes had caught anyone. He only made a few conclusions-the unwilling Death Eaters caused this chaos.

Joel and Gavin are both ruthless people.

Except for little Barty, who was still useful and couldn't be killed, but they did some tricks and threw them out, no one else could survive the next day under their hands, and they left for the Kingdom of Death that night.

Asess left the remaining "hand-cutting" matter to Susanna. Susanna bombed their house twice in a row. They were old friends, so it was best to leave it to her.

Susanna had been holding her breath for what had happened before, but now she had a fair and just reason to blow them up without being scolded by Joel, and she was happy.

The next day I packed my things and returned to Germany, happily staying at an old friend’s house.

Joel stayed in the UK to investigate the extended hand, and assisted Susanna, slightly restricting her behavior so as not to be too extreme.

It's all so harmonious.

The Hogwarts Express whirred, carrying the little wizards to Hogwarts as usual.

In the train compartment, Harry rubbed the scar on his forehead from time to time and chatted with Hermione and Ron about what happened at the Quidditch World Cup that day.

Hermione was very disappointed with the Ministry of Magic's incompetence.

The train vending witch passed by pushing a trolley and selling various snacks in a cheerful tone.

Ron called her over, pulled Harry up, picked at the trolley, and picked out some snacks.

Harry was a little absent-minded, rubbing the scar lightly with his hand and grabbing a few snacks in his hand. When he raised his head to pay Galen, he happened to meet a curious gaze.

It was an oriental face.

Harry knew her, Cho Chang of Ravenclaw.

When the girl saw that her gaze was noticed, she lowered her head with a little embarrassment, and a little red cloud flew over her elegant and graceful face.

Harry looked at her absentmindedly. The scar on his head no longer hurt, but his hands and feet were a little out of control and he didn't know where to move them.

Fortunately, the girl was shyer than him and didn't stop. She lowered her head and returned to her box. Harry reluctantly returned to his box.

This short encounter, even without dialogue, was still deeply ingrained in the young man's heart.

Hogwarts Great Hall.

Aces sat on the teacher's desk, fiddling with the ring on his little finger rather boredly.

There is still a spring-like smile on his face, but in fact his soul has drifted to nowhere.

Snape next to him firmly refused to let him get close, and there was still a Grindelwald distance between them.

Yes, Grindelwald.

It can only be said that Grindelwald is indeed the man who dominates Europe. He is still alive and kicking until this semester under Voldemort's curse.

Divide the Defense Against the Dark Arts class with the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor Alastor Moody.

Voldemort must be dying, otherwise why would this guy still be smiling so happily.

Artes was slandering, while using his eyes to accuse Grindelwald of being immoral by inserting himself between him and Snape, trying to get him to change positions.

Grindelwald was not afraid of his accusations.

It was a rare sight to see Aces deflated. His butt between the two of them was as stable as the Himalayas.

That unfamiliar face still wore a twitching, twisted smile, which perfectly interpreted the word schadenfreude.

You must know that he didn't want to sit here, it was the Potions Professor Snape who "invited" him here, so he reluctantly moved away from Dumbledore.

It's not a bad thing to see the two of them having trouble now. He will definitely share this happiness with Al when he goes back.

Aces felt that he was somewhat... just a little bit wronged. He was half asleep in the morning, his brain was so foggy that he didn't even realize what he was doing.

When he woke up, he had accidentally rubbed off Snape's nightgown. Just as he was about to take his hand back, he was caught on the spot by the potion master who had woken up.

Artes remembered the stagnant atmosphere at that time very clearly. He even remembered the touch on his hands, but he didn't dare to recall Snape's expression.

He felt that it was a mercy of Snape that he was still alive and showing up in the Great Hall.

It's good to be alive, really.

After the whole sorting ceremony, it was like a chicken and a dog, everyone had their own ideas and went their own way.

Hagrid is so big that he always fails to notice Professor Flitwick, who is too petite. He either bumps into him or pierces his hand with his fork.

Aces felt pain when he saw it.

While Professor McGonagall was presiding over the ceremony, she also had to pay attention to every move on the long table, always ready to clean up the mess for her unreliable colleague.

Dumbledore seemed to be smiling at the little wizard who had just entered school, but in fact he was pricking up his ears and trying hard to distinguish the movement in the corner of the long table.

Not only worried that Grindelwald would cause trouble, but also a little curious about what was going on over there, he even called Grindelwald over to get in the middle.

What happened to those two people?

The strong curiosity made Dumbledore's heart feel like it was being scratched by a cat, and he was itching unbearably.

The commotion outside has nothing to do with the three people in the corner. The corner seems to be a world of its own.

Grindelwald already regretted sitting here.

Even if the two people were having a bad temper and didn't talk, he would still be out of place sitting here, and would be accidentally injured by Snape's eye knife from time to time, not just once or twice.

He now seriously doubted that Snape did it on purpose, and he was reluctant to take it out on Artes and take it out on him?

In short, none of these people were entirely focused on the sorting ceremony.

Perhaps only Professor Sprout was online throughout the whole process, sincerely welcoming every new little wizard.
