HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 459 Waiting

"You guys... trash."

Voldemort stood at the front, his face becoming more and more ugly under the ridicule of Gavin and others, and his wand was pointed at several Death Eaters who had a bad start.

"Master, please give me another chance."

Before he could finish his plea for mercy, Voldemort's curse had already been issued.

The Death Eater who begged for mercy was hit by the curse without any resistance. He hit the big tree at the entrance of the manor and landed heavily on the ground, wailing.

After rectifying the useless and embarrassing servants, Voldemort pointed the finger at Gavin and the others.

"You idiots are as arrogant as that Cavendish. Is it the magic circle in this manor that gives you the confidence?"

Gavin and the others didn't panic at all, baring their teeth and smiling brightly and enthusiastically at Voldemort.

"Are you Voldemort? I'm not afraid to tell you that our confidence is not the manor's magic circle, but our Young Master Artes."

Voldemort slowly picked up the wand, "You mean Cavendish, who ran away like a mouse in my hands that day?"

Gavin's expression finally changed.

Like him, everyone behind him changed their expressions almost at the same time.

Gavin had a stern look on his face. He took his wand and wanted to go out and fight Voldemort who had insulted his young master, but he was stopped by Joel.

"The young master comes and goes freely between you. I don't know where you came to the conclusion of running away, but it is obvious that you are wrong."

Joel pushed back Voldemort's words with the tone of an elderly person who unconsciously had a preaching tone.

"If you don't admit it, then come in first and then refute my words. The magic patterns and magic circles in the manor were all made by Master Asseth. You can use this to verify."

Is not this nonsensical?

Voldemort tightened his grip on his wand irritably.

If he could get in, how could he waste time here with Joel Gavin and the others.

It was settled that he would not kill them.

Now he just couldn't get in and was in a dilemma, so he used words to stimulate these stupid people. Unexpectedly, he was stopped by that dead old man.

The situation was at a stalemate for a while.

As the first major comeback...

Voldemort disliked glancing at the dozens of people on his side, and finally reluctantly classified this group activity as a large-scale event.

As the first large-scale group activity after returning, there can be no problems.

This is what Voldemort thought and did. He personally came to the gate of the manor and studied the looming and mysterious magic patterns and magic array patterns.

Joel looked at Voldemort who beat his subordinates for no reason, told lies, and came to study the magic pattern on his own. For the first time, Joel felt relieved about whether Artes would study souls behind his back.

So here is a case of obvious failure. No matter how stupid you are, you will never repeat the same mistake... right?

Joel was still a little worried, so he simply found an alchemy tool that could be recorded on his body, patted Gavin on the shoulder, and handed the alchemy tool over.

"Gavin, take this, point the round hole at Voldemort, and don't move it."

Gavin didn't know why, but he still took the cylindrical alchemy tool and, following Joel's instructions, pointed the end with the hole at Voldemort, holding it steady without moving.

The light reflected in the round hole fell on the ground in front of Voldemort. He stared at the unknown object in Gavin's hand warily. The wand traced a graceful arc, and the light blue protective cover shone fluorescently in the dark night.

Joel was pleasantly surprised by Voldemort's unexpected but well-timed action.

Now, it's good. Voldemort's silly actions are just recorded and played in turn for Master Artes every day. It can definitely serve as a perfect warning.

Joel thought so well that he didn't forget to pick up his pocket watch and contact Artes who was far away in Hogwarts.

……

Hogwarts Cellar

Asseth was like a withered tree taking root on the sofa, silent and motionless, just spreading out his magic power to search for Snape.

The reason why he used magic power to find someone was because he had just turned his almost sluggish brain and realized a problem.

It had been nearly half an hour since Mrs. Lovelace and Joel had given him the news of Voldemort's departure and arrival.

There was still no movement from the fireplace.

This was unlikely, the only possibility was that Snape simply couldn't come back through the fireplace.

Also, would Voldemort be so kind?

Aces sneered, but he clenched his hands unconsciously, his nails digging deeply into the flesh of his palms, and the pain spread to his brain.

He wanted to go out and search, but was worried that Snape would come back from the fireplace after he left the cellar, and they would miss him.

If he was not there, there would be only two snakes in the cellar, Miss Medusa and Morpidou, who could do nothing. How could Snape take care of himself alone.

As a last resort, Artes chose to use magic to monitor Hogwarts and the places around Hogwarts where magic could spread.

As soon as Snape appeared, he could immediately detect it and go to him.

The soundless and colorless magic power fell into the black lake filled with mischievous raindrops, creating water ripples in circles, passing through the thick walls of the castle, sweeping past every sleeping little wizard, and crossing the black lake to reach the Forbidden Forest.

The pocket watch became hot, Asseth picked it up, and Joel's old face appeared on it.

"What's the matter? Grandpa Joel."

Joel pointed his pocket watch at Voldemort, allowing Arthas to see the mad Voldemort and Death Eaters.

"Did you see that? Those are Voldemort and Death Eaters. They have been at the gate of the manor for more than ten minutes."

"How is the defense of the manor?"

"No problem, they can't get in."

"Can't come in..."

Aces raised his eyes and looked at Joel in his pocket watch. Joel was suddenly startled in his heart. Even the dim light in the cellar could not hide the ferocity in those peach blossom eyes.

"Have the ravens start fighting back inside the manor."

Joel pressed down the question, nodded to Asseth, and then took the initiative to cut off the connection with the pocket watch.

Time passed by minute by minute.

But Asseth seemed to be unable to feel the passage of time, leaning on the sofa numbly, focusing all his attention on the continuous feedback of magic and the fireplace.

no……

no……

still none……

Wait, is this?

After an unknown amount of time, Asseth suddenly sat up straight and his eyes lit up.

At the inaccessible main entrance of Hogwarts Castle, he felt the familiar fluctuations of Snape's magic.

only……

There was some worry in Asseth's eyes. The magic power fluctuation seemed to be absent, and seemed to be very weak?

As soon as this idea came to him, he couldn't sit still.
