HP: Embrace the Darkness

The black panther put away his sharp claws and gently hooked the human hand with the softest part.

Aces's nose suddenly became sore.

He was very familiar with this kind of action, and most of his nightmares would feature this scene.

Thousands of words condensed into a heavy apology.

Even though Asseth knew that "he" was no longer here, he still said it.

The black panther tilted its head. It couldn't understand the human's words, but the animal's intuition told him that the human was very sad, just as sad as it was when it lost the food it finally caught.

The black panther took it seriously and patted the back of the human's hand comfortingly. The soft flesh pad did not cause any pain.

Aces grabbed the iron cage harder, purple tendons popped out on the back of his hands, and lowered his head.

No one knows better than him the consequences of possessing other creatures across time and space.

Gavin looked at his clean hands and then at the black panther who stretched out his claws as a threat. He was silent for a long time and said, "...different treatment?"

Asseth responded in a good mood: "It seems so."

Gavin clenched his fists in anger. Before he could say "Why", he saw the coldly exposed teeth of the black panther after he opened his mouth, and silently swallowed it back.

Forget it, maybe he doesn't have any affinity with animals.

Asseth curled his lips and smiled lowly, stretched out his hand in front of Gavin, and the black panther, who was dedicated to making his human being happy, had no choice but to touch him.

"Master, are you sure it didn't scare us?"

Aces glanced at Gavin.

"I gave it a potion to reduce its strength. As long as you are not stupid enough to be suppressed by it, your life will not be in danger. Okay, go tell others."

Gavin turned around and left.

Without the annoying Two-legged beast, the black panther seemed much more relaxed, lingering next to Asseth's legs, sniffing the smell of his new residence curiously.

As for the vague feeling of weakness in his body, it was ignored by it.

From the Black Panther's point of view, it was brought here by that annoying human and hasn't had anything to eat. It's normal to be weak and it won't even think about Asseth.
