HP: Embrace the Darkness

The sound of the wind gradually died down and everything became silent.

A window was suddenly pushed open.

The creaking sound broke the silence.

A thin figure appeared in front of the window, quietly looking at the moon in the sky.

The moon sets in the west and the sun rises in the east.

The second hand jumped and landed on a number. Then, the alarm clock stopped clicking and deformed, turning into an alarm clock with a shoehorn hand. It waved its arms aggressively and hit Ases's...head accurately.

The attack created a sound of wind, and Ases opened his eyes alertly, catching the alarm of the sneak attack.

The alarm clock was still jumping and continuing its attack, causing the bed to shake a few times. Snape opened his eyes shortly afterwards and saw the alarm clock so energetic early in the morning. The silence was deafening.

"Suzanne should reflect on why no one buys her alarm clock."

"She won't reflect on herself. She will only think that other people have no vision and can't see the good of this thing." Ases quickly took apart the alarm clock that wouldn't stop, and the alarm clock wilted.

This is something Susannah could really say. Snape was speechless for a few seconds, with only one thought in his mind: "Fortunately she is not a Slytherin student."

The door of the next room opened and the young Snape came out. Seeing that the door next to it was still closed, he turned and walked downstairs.

The first floor was very quiet, with some rustling sounds mixed in the silence. The young boy Snape stopped vigilantly and observed on the stairs.

Three breakfasts were quietly placed on the dining table, which were obviously not enough for the two people upstairs. A short unidentified creature was lying on the ground, not knowing what it was doing.

"That's a house elf."

Aces' voice came from behind.

He turned around and saw Aces and his other self walking slowly towards him. Aces looked no different from yesterday, but the other self looked a little sleepy.

"Good morning." Ases stopped at the stairs and raised his chin towards the unknown creature not far away. "It's called Rocky. It's responsible for our daily life. You can just call it by its name if you need it."

Rocky heard the call and appeared in the middle of the three people. He knelt down timidly and greeted them: "Good morning, three masters."

Asais was experienced in dealing with house elves, so he gave orders directly without any persuasion. "Get up, no need to kneel. Is breakfast ready?"

Rocky stood up obediently and said softly, "I'm ready, Master."

"Let's go and have breakfast."

Athis led Snape, who was so sleepy that he could sleep standing up, downstairs, and the young Snape followed them silently.

Sitting down at the dining table and drinking a few sips of hot tea, Snape's drowsy brain finally restarted successfully. While eating breakfast slowly, he glanced at his other self.

"I have to go out today. Asais will take today's class."

"Tomorrow I will check what you have learned today. He is soft-hearted, but I am not. You'd better not try to take chances and fish in troubled waters."

"I'll take care of Tobias's affairs when I have time. As for Spider's End Alley... before we leave, I'll give you a test. As long as you pass it, this house and Prince Manor will be yours. You can go back to wherever you want during the holidays."

Asis listened to the awkward yet harmonious conversation between the two people and did not know whether to laugh or cry, but he did not interrupt the rare gentleness of the Potion Master.

After finishing breakfast, Snape stopped, still unsatisfied, looked at Aces, and asked tentatively: "I'm going?"

"Well, go ahead." Aces was calmer than Snape, as if Snape was just going to work, and asked considerately: "Do you need me to find someone to take you there?"

Young Snape rolled his eyes for the first time this morning.

Snape felt inexplicably unhappy, but he couldn't find the reason, so he could only attribute it to the fact that what he had to do today was rather special.

When they reached the gate, Snape stopped for some unknown reason and said, "I'll be back sooner rather than later."

There was no sound coming from inside.

When he looked back, he found that there was no one sitting there. Only Rocky was looking at him in confusion, as if wondering whether he should answer.

Snape's face darkened, he snorted coldly, and left the cabin without looking back.

In addition to the two bedrooms upstairs, Asseth specially reserved a small room as a classroom. It was about the same size as his study, and was more than enough to teach only one student.

The first class assigned by Snape was Potions. Aces picked up the Potions textbook and glanced at the key points listed in the book, feeling relieved.
