Hogwarts: Atypical Slytherin
Chapter 256 (page 12)
The first class in the morning is Defense Against the Dark Arts. Most Slytherins passed the exams successfully and took the course.
This may have something to do with their family.
Families with profound heritage more or less own some "unexplainable" small objects.
For students at Hogwarts, the only reason they can openly enter the library to check information related to dark arts is the "Defense Against the Dark Arts course" where various disciplines are intertwined.
Only by understanding can you use it better.
The circle of friends finally got together after a long absence. After the advanced class, the teachers no longer arranged classes according to the college.
No matter what expectations everyone has for their future jobs, advanced courses in Defense Against the Dark Arts remain popular.
Although Cedric has the support of his mother, his father still maintains a wait-and-see attitude.
Cedric was too good, and he was unwilling to let his excellent son go on a path he had not imagined.
The world of Muggles is a place full of ignorance and danger for wizards. What they have and what they know may cause great panic to wizards who have not been exposed to anything here.
Mr. Diggory has a decent job and has such a smooth path for his future. Please forgive him for not thinking clearly. Even if the unknown could mean bigger developments.
But people are always afraid of the unknown.
The animals sat together, and Cedric looked forward to the next lesson. Being interested in the magical developments of Muggles does not mean that he has to abandon everything in the wizarding world.
The Weasley twins remained enthusiastic and lively, and stayed on the desk instead of the chair when the teacher did not arrive.
"Jesus Christ!" Fred said, "How did he get his eyes? It looks like they gave him vision!"
"If you could," said George, "you could take his eyes off and..."
"Then you will be criticized by the college, or you will be deducted fifty points by Professor McGonagall, and finally you will be locked up for ten days and a half by the new professor." Mr. Hufflepuff's male prefect said for them I was amused by the fantastic idea, but in the end listed the greatest possibilities.
Although this punishment may not suffice the Weasleys' curiosity.
"That couldn't be better!" The Weasleys looked at each other and almost jumped from the table to the ceiling with excitement.
"Honestly, aren't you curious?" One of them climbed off the table and lay down next to him.
Cedric didn't know who it was: "Curious, but I haven't lost my mind yet, gentlemen."
"Don't be like this, sometimes exploration is the greatest respect for adventure!" The other Weasley slid off the table, and then they sat down in their seats obediently.
"Oh, I'm so happy." The exaggerated banging sound gradually became louder from the door, and the rough voice became undulating with the limping movements. Their new teacher was not moving at a low speed.
"My first lesson at Hogwarts is for you." Moody smiled, as if he wanted to look approachable, but failed.
His face was so different that many small animals took a breath of cold air involuntarily. After all, when the stiff and damaged mouth was raised, his already incomplete face became even more fragmented.
"I'm honored." He kept a cheerful tone and didn't care much about the students' reaction to his appearance. "You are the class with the highest excellence rate in so many years. I believe that you have the knowledge of black magic - —I came here because of my love for defense courses.”
He changed the subject, and his intact eye looked sharply around everyone. The eyes that seemed to be made by magical alchemy began to purr and move around, making people feel uncomfortable.
His eyes focused more on the Slytherins. It seems that he doesn't have a good impression of this academy.
"I have heard of many of you," the former Auror continued. "I hope you did learn something from my class."
"Okay, now let's get down to business - first of all, congratulations to all of you for passing the owl test and successfully entering the advanced class. During this year, I will teach any of you the necessary skills and tricks to improve this technology."
"I don't mean to target anyone," he said, "but if you think of Defense Against the Dark Arts as a simple discipline like cursing items you touch and subduing creatures of darkness, you're going to have a tough year."
"It's time to truly understand what black magic is."
"I believe that some of you have more or less come into contact with magic like this."
"Most black magic is illegal, but some are absolutely forbidden. But they are not as unknown as other types of black magic."
"Does anyone know which spells would be most severely punished for wizards?"
He seemed to be looking at the others. But she seemed very sure that Miss Albert could answer such a question. He smiled and stared at her.
Then another voice spoke, dull but very quick.
"People call them the Unforgivable Curses: the Death Curse, the Cruciatus Curse, and the Imperius Curse."
"That's a good answer, Miss Bagnor." He finally turned around and said, "Five points to Ravenclaw."
"But I think everyone will understand this common sense." He chose not to continue asking, "Has anyone ever used any of them?"
There was silence among the crowd. Even if someone had experimented with such a spell, who would say it openly in front of outsiders in class?
Moody got no response: "If it had been anyone else, I would have answered, preferably that way."
"But," his voice rose several times, "everyone in my class must learn how to cast these spells!"
"How can you fight against an enemy if you haven't used it or understood it?" he said. "Is it a shame to know the enemy?"
"Sixth grade, when you finish the final exam and prepare to take up the job, are you going to face your enemies with this attitude?"
He pointed his finger at the students: "The soul is out of body!"
Then, he deflected the spell and hit the lighting. The force was not weak, and the force shook the chandeliers and made a rattling sound, and some of the outer protective shields were broken.
"It seems you are not as quiet as you appear." Moody laughed, "You,"
"I don't think casting spells directly on students is a good teaching method, Professor."
Sitting in the first row, the female Slytherin prefect who bore the brunt faced him, which was the direction his wand pointed just now: "What do you think?"
The students looked at him quietly.
"That's great." He said, "Is this the silent spell of the Iron Armor Curse?"
"As you can see. If you wanted a demonstration, you should ask your classmates for permission first, not like this."
