Hogwarts: Atypical Slytherin
Chapter 262 Negotiation (Snape occasion)
The school announced the arrival date of the exchange students from the exchange school. Even the Slytherin house was full of restlessness. The house was filled with chattering students and young and energetic shouts.
Originally, on days like this, Claudia could hide in the cellar and enjoy a happy life without anyone daring to disturb her.
No one likes to go to the snake king's territory to receive his venom spray. People are always willing to understand others by the side they show.
Claudia was irritably breaking dead branches that fell from time to time at the edge of the forest. She thought that many things were not going well this semester.
First there was an inexplicable quarrel, and then Mr. Bain suddenly avoided seeing her. She really never met the stern but extremely friendly centaur again.
Although he was replaced by the lively and beautiful Feizelen, the status between people cannot be replaced by each other.
"Oh." A figure appeared hanging upside down, "What makes our little genius sigh like this?"
The muscles on Cedric's face turned into a funny expression due to the gravity of the earth. The hood slipped from his shoulders and the cloak deformed.
After successfully completing the scary task, Cedric fell down from the tree: "Want to talk to me, Miss?"
"I'm just in a very irritable mood." Claudia answered him, "Maybe it's because things didn't develop as I expected, which makes me feel bad."
"This is indeed a very uncomfortable thing." Cedric answered her seriously, "Emotions will affect our state. Maybe you need some time to relax."
"Things will never develop 100% the way we expect. Life is inherently an adventure."
"I hope so." Clooney shook his head, "I just thought that hard work usually pays off."
It wasn't until that night that she felt powerless for the first time.
This is a feeling of powerlessness in which you clearly know that something is happening and there are signs of it happening, and you also understand the direction of your efforts, but you are unable to shake things off in the slightest.
Snape really became what others said he was, unkind, mean, indifferent, and even his patience with top students was completely evaporated.
"Don't be too noisy," he said.
“If you don’t even have your own ideas about these questions, what’s the point of asking others?”
"Okay, miss, your professor also needs some rest time."
The cold face spoke impatiently, and his attitude crossed the topics that were thrown out one after another, ending Claudia's courage and patience in finding topics.
Then, they were silent for a while, and Snape finally brought the topic back to Claudia.
"Can you be more steady, Albert?" he said, "I haven't seen any changes in you after so many years."
Then, something unexpected happened.
The girl who had been trying to maintain a cheerful attitude finally stopped trying to keep up with his rapid pace. The dark clouds that passed just blocked the moonlight shining on her. Severus Snape was leisurely waiting for a roar or explosion. .
He has experienced this, and everyone will treat anyone with a vicious attitude when their sore spot or bottom line is poked. Some people are ridiculous and have non-existent self-esteem, while some people are genuine and seek a sense of justice for themselves and legitimate values.
He stood in the light and turned around impatiently, his leather shoes making a hollow tapping sound in the empty corridor.
Tick tock, twice.
"what happened again?"
It seemed that there was more than just the crisp sound of leather shoes stepping on the empty board.
"So, what's going on?" The voice was very small, trembling, hiding behind the lowered head. Miss Albert could think of a concrete solution to the suffering of others, but in this case she was helpless.
"What?" Snape continued to take two steps forward impatiently, "How long do you want to delay this patrol? If you still have a lot of energy, Prefect, let it go first..."
"I'm sorry." The child whispered, hoping to ease the irritable and annoying atmosphere with a soft tone, "I must have done something wrong, right?"
Snape stopped. Because he didn't get the response he expected.
This isn't right, this shouldn't be the case, he thought.
If this had been an argument, like the one at the beginning of the school year, Miss Albert would have lost all patience with him, cursed, dropped something, and left angrily. Or like Lily Evans, yelling how disappointed she was in him and never having anything to do with him again.
Like that.
Then he can officially declare that he is out of this trouble, and other uninformed fools will not want to go to all the trouble to "bring together" what they call a "temporary feud between master and apprentice."
Albert is afraid of being denied her ability, and she wants the people she cares about to see her.
He twitched the corner of his mouth.
"I didn't hear what you were saying."
Then the sound grew quieter, and Miss Albert came slowly towards him, so that he stood there with his arms folded.
"Please tell me, what did I do to make you unhappy?" The child humbly, forcefully, and finally gently pulled the corner of his robe. Her fingers turned white and stretched out from the dark night to the moonlight. The water-like substance formed a line in the air. She almost buried her head in the ground.
"But tell me," she said, "don't let me do this."
