Hogwarts: Atypical Slytherin
Chapter 28 Troublemaker during exam week
"Go away! Peeves, you bad guy!" During exam week, coupled with the sultry weather, everyone was in a hurry, and they were not as energetic as before. Peeves was bored, so he caught Claudio, who seemed to be in good spirits.
Clooney had just come back from outside and was going back to the auditorium for breakfast.
"The soft-spoken, powerful calf!" Peeves floated on top of Crowney's head, scattering moldy bread all over the corridor like a goddess scattering flowers while singing his own song, "The sniveling little one." You fool! You look stupid when you read a book! Your head is filled with paper-like mush! Our silly baby knows everything!"
"You bad guy!" Clooney held up his purse angrily with one hand and fumbled his wand in his clothes with the other hand. "Peeves will play tricks on me again. The omnipotence made of paste will make Peeves a fool today." With big buck teeth!”
Peeves had experienced the pain of Clooney's strength working wonders, so he floated high in the air and never got close to her, but it was so fun when she was angry. This short, big-faced elf didn't dare to do anything excessive towards her.
Occasionally, girls would cheer for his less outrageous pranks.
"Hahaha, you bad-tempered little wooden man! You can't hit him! You can't hit him! He makes the bad-tempered man cry!"
"!Mr. Barrow!" Crowney stood still and put away his wand, "Good morning!"
Peeves went too far, twisting his butt at Clooney, and while twisting, he threw the messy things he took out from nowhere.
"You can't fool the great Peeves now! Don't be fooled even if he comes three times!" Peeves hummed happily while watching Clooney's reaction. She stood under the ink dripping and stared at him quietly - —The ink didn’t stay on her body at all.
"You cheated!" Peeves became furious, "You have researched something new!"
Clooney didn't speak. Her expression looked particularly distorted. She tried her best to make a serious expression, but she looked even more funny. Tears seemed to overflow from her eyes. She looked like she wanted to laugh but couldn't. She can walk but not run away——
"You're crying——"
"Get out of here, Peeves." Bloody Balor's cold voice came up from behind Peeves, "You're blocking my way!"
"Oh! Lord Barrow!" Peeves said flatteringly, "I will make way for you now, make way for you!"
Bloody Barrow usually doesn't appear in the castle at this time - no one knows where he usually is. Clooney used this trick to fool Peeves several times, but he didn't expect it to be true this time.
Peeves gritted his teeth in his heart. Now he finally knew why this beautiful little girl did not run away in embarrassment but stayed here and looked at him quietly.
"Don't appear in front of me!"
"Okay! Okay!" Peeves disappeared instantly.
Clooney gave a slight gesture to Bloody Barrow and hurried to the auditorium without waiting for his response.
"Bad girl!" Peeves rubbed the scrap paper he didn't know where it came from in his hands, "As bad as those two Weasleys!"
"It's really both loveable and hateful." Peeves thought, "It's so hateful!!!!!! I will definitely find a chance to take revenge!!!"
But soon he got a new toy, and the Ravenclaws rushed to the auditorium with their books in their arms. He happily sprinkled dirty things on everyone's head while listening to the students' complaints. The unbearable whining sound continued to dance in the sky.
"Silly baby violent girl~can't stop the great Peeves on his happy journey~" he sang, "more nerds~can't do anything to Peeves~Peeves is the king of happiness~"
Peeves believes that after his encouragement, the little animals at Hogwarts will be confident about the upcoming exams! So he continued to express his enthusiasm with satisfaction.
For a whole week, Peeves watched over Claudius in the mornings. It's a pity that except for that day, he never caught her alone again. Instead, the students' mental state became increasingly depressed.
Until the last History of Magic exam was finished, a group of students stood guard at the entrance of the corridor with the books and notebooks they had finished studying. The students who had been bitter about Peeves for a long time began to fight with Peeves using waste paper and other odds and ends. A big battle! The Weasley brothers even used their long-cherished "special sticky gum cannon barrel" to shoot at each other with Peeves - much to Filch's fury.
But because there were too many students participating, and the Weasleys were too conspicuous, only they and Clooney were unfortunately left behind.
"That's not fair!" Fred jumped, "Why weren't the others left behind!"
"Because you two always hang out together!" Filch said angrily, "And you two! Are usually the culprits behind things!"
"How unjust we are!" George shouted to Professor McGonagall, who was belatedly arriving. "It's all Peeves' fault!"
"I heard." Professor McGonagall frowned and walked in their direction. "Many students have reported this to us a few days ago. We can't blame them."
Then she glanced at Clooney with some surprise, who was obediently using herself as a background, and then said tremblingly: "You can go!"
Then she added: "Don't cause trouble! Fred! George!"
"Listen to your teaching lady!" They saluted strangely and dragged Clooney away one by one.
Professor McGonagall could only see the girl showing her two rows of white teeth in embarrassment, and reluctantly raised a hand to say goodbye to her.
"Thank you Professor!" she said.
When they escaped to the central courtyard, Fred gasped and said, "This is not fair! I saw Cedric! Why is he okay!"
"Because he had already been dragged away by Hufflepuff students when he saw Filch!" Crowney said.
"Damn it!" said George, "that cunning Hufflepuff starlet!"
"Damn it!" Clowney said, imitating George, "You two Weasley troublemakers!"
Then she made a face and prepared to run away, and then her hood was pulled by two people.
"You are also a troublemaker!" they said in unison, "You are the cunning one!"
"I'm not! I'm the Guaiguai card!" Clooney pretended to be struggling in their hands, trying to sneak a golden cicada out of its shell - but failed.
"The evil little snake has many evil intentions!"
"The evil little snake is causing mischief!"
"I never do pranks!" Clooney said guiltily, "NEVER!"
George took out a round rotten egg from Crowney's left pocket - this rotten egg almost made Peeves' invisibility skills meaningless - because he was so smelly that just smelling it Everyone knew that Peeves was coming.
"Okay! It turns out that the culprit is you! George!" Clooney stared at a tree in the distance in the courtyard with squinting eyes - as if she was admiring its beautiful leaves, and raked them down, "You're in trouble! Pippi The ghost will definitely take revenge on you."
Then they got into a fight in the corridor, almost attracting Filch again.
