Chinese students at Hogwarts.

Chapter 59 Merry Christmas (more updates!!)

Just like Chinese people put up window grilles and Spring Festival couplets before the Chinese New Year.

Wizards are also celebrating the coming of Christmas in their own ways.

The auditorium has completely changed its appearance and looks extremely beautiful and spectacular.

The walls were covered with hanging ribbons of holly and mistletoe, and a dozen towering Christmas trees were erected throughout the room. Some of the trees were hung with shiny icicles, and some were lit with hundreds of candles.

Professor Flitwick was blowing out streams of golden bubbles with his wand and hanging them on the branches of the newly moved tree.

Professor McGonagall also shined. She was wearing an emerald green robe. When she waved her wand, those decorative items seemed to have a life of their own, jumping and hanging on the wall.

Sometimes they will grow two small fists and beat their companions who have taken their place.

Professor Sprout brought in many interesting magical plants, which are not of high practical value, but are very interesting.

For example, there is a plant that will twist its body according to the music as long as you sing loudly in front of it, but if you sing too hard, it will twist its body according to the music.

That's terrible, it will angrily slap your mouth with branches and leaves to shut you up.

This was tested by Ron with red marks all over his mouth. It took a lot of effort from Harry and Zhang Xiao to stop Ron who wanted to fight it.

"Ron, don't do this, don't do this!"

"Ron, it's just a plant! I'm not insulting you!"

After the holidays, Ron and Harry had so much fun that they even forgot about the Sorcerer's Stone.

The dormitories were entirely at their disposal, and the common room was much less crowded than usual, allowing them to occupy some of the more comfortable armchairs by the fire.

Zhang Xiao was invited to the Gryffindor common room because there was no one in Slytherin.

The Fat Lady was obviously very unhappy with a Slytherin entering the common room, but when Zhang Xiao praised the lady against her will with a beautiful sonnet.

She happily opened the door for Zhang Xiao.

Gryffindor's lounge has a more lively and intense feel than Slytherin's. The bright red color scheme and European-style furniture give it an inexplicable sense of joy.

The couch and some furniture may seem messy, but they have a different kind of beauty.

The fireplace here burned much more fiercely than in Slytherin, and the entire lounge was toasty and warm.

Now they were sitting there, eating whatever they could pick up with a spit - bread, pancakes, mushrooms.

Zhang Xiao was chewing on melon seeds while designing plans that would make Professor Snape suffer a big loss. Although these plans were impossible to implement, it was always fun to talk about them.

Ron also began teaching Harry how to play wizard chess.

Wizard's chess is exactly like chess, but its chess pieces are all alive, so it feels more like commanding an army in battle.

Ron's chess set was very old and tattered, but like a soldier who had been on the battlefield for a long time, it had an inexplicable murderous aura.

In fact, this chess piece came from his grandfather. After Ron arranged them, the chess pieces saluted and shouted loudly:

"Dear Commander, weasley family chess soldiers, follow your orders!"

Harry was using the set of chess pieces that Seamus Finnigan left him, and they didn't trust him at all.

And his level is not very high. The chess pieces are pointing at him here and there, which makes people's heads spin. "Don't send me there. Didn't you see his knight? Send him." It doesn’t matter that he died.”

Zhang Xiao looked at it with interest, and he thought of the not-so-serious set of chess pieces in the Slytherin common room.

So he pulled out the magic wand and turned the queen into a sexy young girl, which almost had a miraculous effect.

Harry became a complete spectator, and he lost control of the chess pieces.

His chess pieces were shouting

"Protect the beautiful queen!"

"This is an epic battle! This is Troy!"

They acted spontaneously, and the chess pieces were not afraid of death. They discussed loudly what to do next, and they actually fought back and forth with Ron.

Zhang Xiao and Harry almost laughed like crazy because Ron across from them had scratched his fiery red hair until it was like a chicken coop.

He complained loudly:

"A lot of chess records must have been entered into these chess pieces when they were made! Look at how they are played! I even saw them in the International Wizarding Chess Competition!"

In the end, Ron won. The knight guarding the queen tried his best to express his love to the queen before he fell:

"Beautiful Helen, your golden hair is like the dazzling sun, and your face is like a gift from God."

Before he finished speaking, the effect of Zhang Xiao's transformation spell changed, and the queen returned to her original gray appearance.

"Gah!" The knight seemed to have his throat strangled and fell directly on the chessboard. He was so angry that he died.

When we got together the next morning, Zhang Xiao even wondered if he had been moved somewhere in the middle of the night.

Because what comes into view is a hill made of gifts!

Colorful packaging boxes, large and small, are scattered everywhere, just like a Double Eleven express warehouse.

He didn't even have a place to put his feet!

Is this the whole school giving themselves gifts? Zhang Xiao looked at the packages on the ground with a grimace. How many gifts will he get in return next year? !

He kicked the package away from his feet and dug his feet underneath for a while before finding his slippers.

Start cleaning up your own Christmas presents.

As expected, many gifts were given by little wizards he didn't know, most of them girls.

Most of the things they gave were chocolates, snacks, scarves knitted by themselves, and the like.

A very small number of the more enthusiastic ones also attached photos of their magic and letters of confession.

For example, this little witch named Romilda Vanney and Lavender Brown.

Zhang Xiao looked at these two names. They were very familiar, but he couldn't remember them. He shook his head and put their things aside.

Next are the gifts from familiar friends.

Harry, a young rich man who was not short of money, directly gave him a set of Quidditch equipment (broomsticks not included), which was estimated to cost hundreds of galleons.

He also included a simple postscript: I hope my good friend Zhang can also feel the charm of Quidditch.

Ron was short of money, but he clearly put a lot of effort into his gifts.

He made a large collection book, which was almost full of wizard cards, including the rare Agripba that he gave to him.

PS: Friendship is more precious than all cards! Hope you like it.

Zhang Xiao couldn't help but laugh, because in addition to a full set of signed Cannon Team uniforms and a hardcover version of Dragon Ball, what he gave Ron was a wizard card, which was the only Potolemi he was missing.

Hermione's gifts were much simpler. She seemed to give everyone books or non-sugar snacks.

Malfoy's gift was very pure. He gave him a bag of gold galleons and left a very simple message:

"I thought about it for a long time, but in the end I was frustrated to find that you seemed to be lacking everything. Galleons are for you and you can buy them yourself."

Books are also the second most gift Zhang Xiao receives. Many professors give him books. It seems that in their understanding, giving books to good students is their favorite gift.

Hagrid's gift was quite unique. He gave Zhang Xiao a bag of scraps left by the magical animals in the Forbidden Forest.

He felt that Zhang Xiao should use it when brewing the potion.

It has to be said that Hagrid, as the invisible rich man of Hogwarts, is really generous.

Look at what he has to offer!

The severed horn of the unicorn, the fallen hair, the claws of the Acromantula, the teeth

Maybe Hagrid's little package cost more than all his other gifts combined!

But soon, Zhang Xiao realized that he had thought wrong. Something given by someone was equally precious.

That was a package from Dumbledore.

Contained inside was a letter written by Salazar Slytherin.
