Infinitely Criticizing the Villain for Being Like My Ex-Boyfriend
Chapter 204: A Husband's Doomsday Self-Saving Guide 55
Zhang Chunliang returned to that nightmare again.
——The once warm and tidy home was now in a mess, with cigarette butts scattered all over the floor.
He leaned back on the sofa with an expressionless face and sat there without moving for the entire day.
The phone kept ringing, some were customers of the tattoo shop, and some were his friends.
Zhang Chunliang picked up his phone for the last time and patiently looked through the chat history, confirming that the guy who used to call him countless times every day to report his whereabouts and check on him had not contacted him for five consecutive days.
The hand holding the phone began to shake uncontrollably. He was not angry, but simply hungry. He hadn't eaten anything for three days.
The doorbell suddenly rang, over and over again, with a determination that he would not stop until the door was opened.
Zhang Chunliang coughed lightly and dragged his heavy body to open the door.
A man in a suit stood outside the room. He bowed respectfully and asked with a smile, "Mr. Zhang, there are a lot of things piled up at the door of your room, occupying the fire escape. Could you please clean them up?"
Seeing Zhang Chunliang's tired and numb appearance, the person outside the door paused and added gently: "I can also provide help here."
Zhang Chunliang glanced at his door lightly, which was filled with various exquisite lunch boxes, seasonal clothes, and a large medicine box.
He ignored the man and walked straight forward to open one of the lunch boxes. Inside was a rich and familiar aroma. The food had just come out of the pot, still very fresh, and the steam was blowing in his face. He had eaten such food for many years - it was Shen Xingyi's craftsmanship.
He hadn't eaten for several days, and now he felt an unbearable pain in his stomach.
But Zhang Chunliang just took a look and closed the lid.
"Tell that guy." His voice was horribly hoarse from not eating, "Don't mess around with this nonsense. Come and see me in person if you have the guts."
The man's face changed, and he blocked him in front of him, not letting him enter the house: "At least... at least drink some water--!"
With shaking hands, he took out a pot of warm nutritious tea from his backpack and said almost pleadingly: "Mr. Zhang, please have a sip, please..."
Zhang Chunliang looked at him coldly, certain that if he really didn't drink, this man would probably stand here forever.
So he reluctantly picked up the cup and took a sip. He didn't know what was put in the warm tea, but it wrapped around his stomach soothingly, and the pain was relieved a lot for a while.
"Another drink?" the man suggested uneasily.
Zhang Chunliang handed him the cup, and before he could react, he slipped into the house and closed the door.
He returned to his little sofa and curled up there, not moving.
"Listen, Shen Xingyi—" He spoke with an indifferent expression as if talking to himself, "I know you installed surveillance here."
Otherwise, we wouldn't have delivered meals, nutritious soup and stomach medicine to him every day since the day he stopped fasting.
"If you don't contact me again, I really won't want you anymore." He pinched his nose and slowly closed his eyes. He felt his eyeballs were sore and almost shed tears. "I mean what I say."
He was too tired. A sudden fatigue made him fall sideways on the sofa, drowsy.
The second before he lost consciousness, he was still feeling regretful - there must be sleeping pills in the soup, and after he fell asleep, someone might break in and inject him with all kinds of random nutrients.
"At least - at least give my dog back to me... Why did you take Duoduo away as well..." He frowned, rubbed the sofa cushion, and fell into a doze.
The weak door lock was quickly pried open.
"I can only cover for you for five minutes. After you see him, leave immediately - don't let those old guys find out that you are still in contact with him. They are worried that they can't find a reason to deal with your little baby." The magnetic voice said very quickly.
Zhang Chunliang had an uneasy sleep. He always felt someone was talking, which made him frown. Suddenly, someone approached him. The person squatted quietly beside the sofa, gently smoothed his brows and straightened his messy hair.
A big dog squeezed out of his way and pounced on Zhang Chunliang madly, licking his face with its big tongue while whimpering aggrievedly.
"Duoduo, he is very weak. He can't bear what you do." The man pulled the dog away by its collar. He looked at Zhang Chunliang silently and smiled sadly.
"I can't leave Duoduo here, Liangliang. What if you don't want me anymore and run away with it?"
When the big dog heard its name, it struggled to break free from the man's restraints and excitedly burrowed into Zhang Chunliang's arms. Its big furry head rested on his neck and licked him frantically, leaving trails of cool saliva.
It was unknown how long the intimate and sticky licking lasted, and Zhang Chunliang began to lose his patience even in his dream. He complained with a frown.
"Shen Xingyi - pull Duoduo away, it's almost giving me a bath -"
As he spoke, he suddenly opened his eyes, only to find that he was not in the familiar room.
In front of him was a tent roof, and Zhang Chunliang was lying on the bed, covered with a piece of clothing, resting.
His consciousness seemed to still be in the dream, he was in a daze, and it took him a long time to react - the dream of being licked was not an illusion.
A big dog had somehow gotten into his tent and was now pounced on him, licking his neck and cheeks intently, making licking sounds.
"..." Zhang Chunliang sat up straight with a start, grabbed the big dog's hair at the neck, and stared at it dangerously.
"Woo, ah, ah..." The big dog was discovered doing something bad, and its furry ears flew back and it cried pitifully.
The sound startled the people outside the tent.
"Awake?" Li Mufeng lifted the tent and looked inside. He saw Zhang Chunliang vigorously beating the dog with his shoes and he immediately breathed a sigh of relief.
"You scared us," he complained.
Li Jun died. He turned into a dust storm that covered the sky and no body was left. The savior who was swallowed by him took back the fragmented power of Li Jun and turned into a complete body of power.
"Actually, it's not complete. There are still some fragments scattered around the world, but most of the power has returned to the main body." Li Mufeng helped Zhang Chunliang up from the bed and explained to him what happened afterwards.
When the savior absorbed Li Jun's power, he unconsciously released some crazy talking nonsense. Everyone couldn't bear this power and fainted.
"We woke up quickly, but you remained unconscious."
Zhang Chunliang listened to his story quietly, put on his clothes, opened the tent and walked out.
The scene outside the tent stunned him.
