Chapter 66 Tang Dynasty Poets (3)
[In the second year of Shengli in Wu Zhou Dynasty (699 AD), a handsome and emotionally stable man named Wang Wei was born.
He was a good friend of Meng Haoran. Princess Yuzhen couldn't even walk when she saw him. Almost every poem was a masterpiece. Writing poetry was as easy for him as drinking water and eating. He wrote about the night in the mountains:
"The bright moon shines among the pines, and the clear spring stones flow upwards."
He writes of the desert evening:
"The lonely smoke is straight in the desert, and the sun sets over the long river."
He misses his family:
"I know my brothers are climbing the mountain, but there is one less person wearing the dogwood branches."
He bids farewell to his friend:
"I advise you to drink another glass of wine. There will be no old friends when you leave Yangguan in the west."
Around 700 AD (the first year of Wu Zhou's Jiu Shi reign), Gao Shi, a representative poet of the Frontier Fortress School, was born.
He went from being a beggar to a nobleman, and his life was smooth and prosperous. Even the best novels dare not write about him in this way. He made us believe it with his 30 years of hard work:
“Don’t worry about having no friends on the road ahead, for everyone in the world knows you.” This can not only be a psychological comfort to friends, but also a true portrayal of one’s own life.
(The second year of Chang'an in Wu Zhou Dynasty) In 701 AD, the romantic poet Li Bai, who "could express half of the prosperous Tang Dynasty with just his eloquence", was born.
The existence of this happy little fairy made the Tang Dynasty interesting and fun.
Speaking of madness, who can be more crazy than Li Bai who said, "I was born to be useful"?
When it comes to delicate emotions, who can compare with Li Bai who wrote "The bright moon shines on my bed"?
When it comes to sunny and cheerful boys, who can compete with Li Bai who wrote "There will always be a time to ride on the wind and waves, and set sail to cross the vast ocean"?
In 712 AD (the first year of Jiutian during the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty), the great poet Du Fu was born.
If Li Bai is romantic, then Du Fu is realistic. He wrote letters of testimony in "Three Officials and Three Farewells":
"How angry the official is when he shouts! How bitter the woman is when she cries."
His poems are full of patriotism. Facing the situation of "the war lasted for three months, and letters from home were worth ten thousand pieces of gold", he said:
"The flowers shed tears when they feel the time, and the birds are frightened when they feel the separation."
His poems are full of compassion for the world. When his hut was broken, he still cried out, but not for himself:
"There are tens of thousands of Ande Guangsha, sheltering the world's poor people with joy."
Around 715 (the third year of Kaiyuan in the Tang Dynasty), Zhang Ji was born.
He amazed the times with just one poem:
"The moon is setting, crows are crying, the sky is full of frost, Jiang Feng is fishing and the fire is facing melancholy.
"Outside Gusu City, the bells of Hanshan Temple ring at the 15th hour of the lunar month and reach the passenger ship."
Attracting people to look for the beautiful story of him, Maple Bridge and Hanshan Temple that night.
In the same year, Cen Shen, who wrote the most frontier poems in the Tang Dynasty, was born.
The frontier has the beauty of "Suddenly, as if overnight, a spring breeze comes, and thousands of pear trees blossom", but when you turn around, you have to face the desolation of "I can't see you as the road winds around the mountains, and only your horse's footprints are left on the snow".
His heart is as high as the sky, but his life is as thin as paper. "Looking eastwards to my hometown, the road is long, and my sleeves are wet with tears."
Gao Shi, who was also on the list of frontier poets, was promoted to higher positions, but Cen Shen himself died in a foreign land.
Around 732 (the th year of Kaiyuan reign of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty), the nightmare of his peers - the little prodigy Zhang Zhihe was born.
"White egrets fly in front of Xisai Mountain, and fat mandarin fish swim in the flowing water under the peach blossoms."
"A green bamboo hat, a green raincoat, no need to go home in the slanting wind and drizzle."
The fisherman's unique leisure quietly melts into the hazy mist of Jiangnan.
Around 737 (the th year of Kaiyuan reign of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty), Wei Yingwu, who wrote "The spring tide comes with rain in the evening, and the boat is drifting alone at the wild crossing", was born.
A prodigal son who returns is worth more than gold. He and his friend "parted like floating clouds, and ten years have passed since then."
Around 748 (the seventh year of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang's Tianbao reign), Sheniu Lu Lun was born.
"The moon is dark and the geese fly high; the Chanyu flees at night.
I wanted to chase the light cavalry, but the heavy snow covered my bows and swords."
There is no such thing as a peaceful life. It is just that the soldiers guarding the border are carrying the burden for us. The year Lu Lun was born, Li Yi, the poet who wrote the most exquisite seven-character quatrain among the mid-Tang poets, was also born.
He saw that in the day-to-day war, the soldiers "did not know where the reed pipes were blowing, and all the soldiers missed their homeland overnight."
(The tenth year of Tianbao during the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty) In 751 AD, Meng Jiao, a poor student surrounded by maternal love, was born.
How he hoped that one day he could "ride his horse in the spring breeze and see all the flowers in Chang'an in one day."
I want to repay my mother for her years of dedication, but "who says that the love of a little grass can repay the kindness of three springs?" After all, I can never repay my mother's kindness. 】
The Immortal Poet? The Sage Poet? When people hear these titles, although they do not understand their meaning, they still think they are very remarkable. What does a sage represent? For example, a figure like Confucius is called "Sage Kong", so you can imagine the meaning of this Sage Poet.
Du Fu was a little dumbfounded at this moment. His hut was broken? Was he so miserable later? He didn't even react much when he was mentioned to his idol. What a mixed blessing.
I am happy that my poems have been passed down to later generations, but I am sad that I don’t seem to have a very good time in my later years.
Li Bai, Gao Shi and others comforted him and patted him on the shoulders. They said that life was short and it would not be in vain if they could be remembered by future generations.
The literati and scholars of all dynasties were astonished, and the poets of later dynasties who regarded Du Fu as their idol were excited. That was Du Fu, who was concerned about the country and the people. It seemed as if he had never been young and was always worried about the affairs of the country and the people.
Hearing about the bravery of the border guards, the emperor and his courtiers also sighed. Wars breaking out everywhere is something that many dynasties do not want to see, but the charges of the border soldiers are a wall erected for them. They only wish that their country will be safe and sound.
Li Longji during the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty was now somewhat crazy, and even his visits to the harem were reduced. He used to be complacent about his prosperity and indulged in the scenes of singing and dancing, but now the sky had given him a warning, and if he did not wake up, he would probably become history.
In the past, when he was working diligently to create a prosperous era, he had the assistance of Yao Song and others around him; and when he wanted to enjoy himself, he had Li Linfu, Yang Guozhong and others around him to please him. Perhaps he knew it, otherwise how could he have used such drastic measures to secure the throne, but he has worked diligently for so many years, isn't it normal for him to want to enjoy himself?
The information and poems on the sky have been discussed by literati and poets of all generations. After all, such talent will be passed down through the ages!
[(In the second year of Dali during the reign of Emperor Daizong of Tang Dynasty) Around 767, Wang Jian, a small town test-taker, was born.
The ground in the courtyard is white, and the cold dew is silent. During the Mid-Autumn Festival, how many families are reunited and how many are sad? He wrote:
"Tonight the moon is bright and everyone is looking at it, but I wonder whose house the autumn thoughts fall on?"
In 768 AD (the third year of Dali reign of Emperor Daizong of Tang Dynasty), Han Yu, who wrote "The rain on the street was as soft as butter, and the grass seemed green in the distance but not there when near," was born.
He used the sentence "So the disciple need not be inferior to the teacher, and the teacher need not be better than the disciple" to serve as a mouthpiece for his students. As a pioneer of the ancient prose movement, the contribution of Han Yu, the internet-famous professor who "learned the truth in sequence and specialized in his profession", was as heavy as Mount Tai.
In 772 (the seventh year of Dali in the reign of Emperor Daizong of Tang Dynasty), Bai Juyi, the number one fan of Du Fu who said "Wildfire cannot burn it all, it will grow again with the spring breeze", was born.
"I would like to be a winged bird in the sky, and a twig on the ground."
He used the beautiful love story of Yang Guifei and Emperor Xuanzong of Tang, whose "smile was charming", to kick off the tragedy of the Anshi Rebellion:
"The eternity of heaven and earth will eventually come to an end, and this hatred will last forever."
In 772 (the seventh year of Dali reign of Emperor Daizong of Tang Dynasty), Li Shen, who "hoeed the field at noon, his sweat dripping to the ground", was born.
He wrote: "In spring, plant a grain of millet, and in autumn, harvest ten thousand seeds." He has two faces in front of others and behind their backs. In the end, he lost his original intention and became the person he hated the most.
In the same year, Liu Yuxi, the antithesis of "A thousand ships pass by the side of the sunken boat, and a thousand trees bloom in front of the dead tree", was born. Looking at his home with no money to renovate, he still maintained his usual optimism:
"This is a humble house, but I am virtuous."
In 773 (the eighth year of Dali during the reign of Emperor Daizong of Tang Dynasty), Liu Yuxi's good friend Liu Zongyuan was born.
"Thousands of mountains and birds flew extinct, and people disappeared in thousands of paths.
Boat PC World Weng, fishing alone trees and snow. "
He has the best friend but becomes the loneliest fisherman in the world.
In 779 (the th year of the Dali reign of Emperor Daizong of Tang Dynasty), Jia Dao, who "took three years to write two lines and shed tears when he recited them", was born.
He may not be the most talented person, but he is the hardest working one:
"Birds roost in the trees beside the pond, monks knock on the door under the moon."
He was so focused on figuring out whether it was better to "knock" or "push" that he even accidentally bumped into Han Yu on the street. He just wanted to stay away from the crowd:
"It is only in this mountain, where the clouds are so deep that I don't know where it is."
Yuan Zhen was born in the same year as Jia Dao (the 14th year of Dali reign of Emperor Daizong of Tang Dynasty).
"once having seen the best, the rest is not worthwhile looking."
After losing his wife, his soul mate, it seemed that no one could enter Yuan Zhen's heart anymore.
Hu Lingneng's date of birth is unknown, but some believe he was born in 785. He was an ordinary craftsman who repaired pots and pans. After he dreamed that someone stuffed a book into his stomach, he began to compose poetry:
"A young boy with disheveled hair is learning to fish, sitting sideways with his body reflected in the moss.
Passersby waved from afar to ask for directions, but the fish were frightened and did not respond.
It is a lovely moment of fishing for many children in their childhood.
In 790 (the sixth year of Zhenyuan in the Tang Dynasty), the most unlucky genius Li He was born.
He made Han Yu lose sleep with just one sentence: "Dark clouds press down on the city, it seems to be collapsing; armor shines in the sun, and golden scales open." He also heard the beautiful music of "Kunshan jade shatters, phoenix calls, lotus weeps in the dew, fragrant orchid smiles."
Unfortunately, God is jealous of talented people. Li He died of illness at the age of 27.
In 791 (the seventh year of Zhenyuan in the Tang Dynasty), Xu Hun was born.
"The first day of Xi Yun Shen Ge, mountain rain wants to come to the wind."
When the Tang Dynasty was in turmoil, only the Wei River continued to flow. 】
Han Yu looked at the finished "On Teachers" in his hand and felt somewhat surprised that people in later generations were still reading his articles.
He suffered many misfortunes in his life. His father died when he was young, his brother who raised him also died young, and he failed the imperial examination three times. Later, when he was in high spirits, he received the news that his widowed sister-in-law had passed away.
