My Rebirth and the Strange Adventure of Black Zhen
Chapter 365: Turbulence in Bathory Castle (Continued)
Lo'Gosh is smart and resourceful, while Broll is gifted with the ability to control powerful natural forces. Together, the two men traveled to Warsong Gulch to support the Silverwing Sentinels and fight off the fierce attack launched by the Warsong Clan.
Unfortunately, Broll's anger caused the natural power in his body to fall into chaos, which could even bring about a huge disaster. Fortunately, Lo'Gosh was quick-witted and took a stick to hit Broll hard, thus preventing a terrible natural disaster from happening.
After a fierce battle, Broll was surprised to find that the corrupted statue of Remulos had been stolen by the Thistlefur Fur Monster, who was using it to corrupt more innocent lives. So Broll and Logosh rushed to Thistlefur Fortress in Ashenvale, determined to completely purify the statue that was contaminated by evil energy.
After arriving at the destination, they encountered a green dragon closely connected to the statue and a large number of corrupted bear monsters. Facing such a powerful enemy, the two fought bravely without fear. After a thrilling battle, they finally completed the purification of the statue as they wished.
It is particularly important to emphasize that during this journey full of thorns and difficulties, Broll miraculously regained the wonderful ability to communicate with other wild spirits without obstacles! Not only that, even the flame of anger that had been burning in his heart and could not be quenched for a long time gradually extinguished at this moment, and finally returned to tranquility and peace.
Broll and Lo'Gosh carefully brought the statue back to Fandral Staghelm. Staghelm was very cautious because he had to make sure that the statue was truly purified. After a thorough study, Staghelm felt that it would be safer for Broll to leave the statue in Darnassus for him to keep.
However, not long after the Lich King's death, the situation in Teldrassil became increasingly critical. Upon hearing the news, Broll responded without hesitation to the call of Cenarion Circle leader Fandral Staghelm, and quickly went to support and assist the other party in healing the severely injured Teldrassil. The Cenarion Circle fully utilized their powerful power to carry out comprehensive healing of the World Tree, and at the same time, they cleverly used the statue of Remulos to further enhance the healing effect.
But what no one expected was that just as Broll was concentrating on exerting his druidic power to achieve perfect integration and smooth communication with Teldrassil, he suddenly saw the horrible sight of Teldrassil being corrupted! This horrific scene made him dizzy and his body shaky, and even forced their concerted action to be interrupted.
Soon after Broll recovered, the strange visions reappeared. Unlike before, this time there were demons similar to shadow creatures and a familiar figure emitting green light like the Emerald Dream. After careful identification, Broll was surprised to find that this person looked very much like the statue of Remulos! An inexplicable intuition came to his mind - this person must be Remulos himself.
As time went by, this feeling grew stronger, as if Azeroth or some other entity he knew was warning him of the great danger that was about to come. These warnings gradually invaded his dreams and tortured him. Recently, Broll had frequent dreams of his daughter meeting with misfortune and eventually dying in front of him.
At this time, a member of the Sisterhood of Elune found Broll and told him that he needed to attend a secret meeting presided over by High Priestess Tyrande Whisperwind. It is worth mentioning that no other druids knew about the existence of this meeting except Hamuul Runetotem, and Hamuul kept this secret.
As a trusted friend of Malfurion Stormrage, Broll accepted Tyrande's plea without hesitation, determined to rescue Malfurion, who was trapped in the lost dream and unable to extricate himself, and bring him back to the real world. Tyrande said to Broll with a solemn look: "The goddess Elune once gave an oracle, indicating that Malfurion was stepping into the abyss of death. Now, the Emerald Nightmare is eroding the dream realm like a plague, and Fandral Staghelm has ordered that no one is allowed to enter it. In addition, he also firmly believes that the archdruids should go all out to heal the corrupted Teldrassil, claiming that only in this way can Malfurion's whereabouts be found. However, I know that time is running out. If we don't act immediately, I am afraid that Malfurion will die before we make any progress."
Tyrande chose to confide in Broll not only because of Malfurion's trust in him, but more importantly, Broll was a hero in the Third War. His brilliant record and outstanding achievements made it impossible for him to easily agree with Fandral's stubborn and ineffective strategy.
Given his loyalty to his mentor Malfurion and recent nightmares and demonic visions, Broll decided to help Tyrande.
In a mysterious and ancient world, Tyrande, with curiosity and desire for the unknown, decided to pass through the portal of the Great Shade and step into the legendary Emerald Dream. However, she did not know what kind of challenges and adventures were waiting for her ahead.
At the same time, Broll, with his keen insight, realized that in order to successfully enter the Emerald Dream, he must find a vital item - the Statue of Remulos. Although he knew that the statue was the core of Fandral's plan to save the World Tree, his inner sense of mission drove him to steal it from Fandral's private treasure house without hesitation.
Finally, the two met in Auberdine. But the scene before them shocked them: the originally peaceful and tranquil town was now in a dead silence, and the residents seemed to be dragged into a terrible nightmare abyss by an invisible force. At this moment, a mysterious human male appeared in front of them. His name was Luken Foxbrud, who had a unique ability to freely travel between the Emerald Dreams.
As everyone was stunned, a creature disguised as a black dragon approached quietly. Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be Ysera's partner, the green dragon Eranikus! This green dragon seemed to have some kind of connection with the Remulos statue.
Not long after, Luken unexpectedly left the group and set out on his journey alone. Unfortunately, he was soon spotted by a mysterious orc woman named Sora. Sora launched a fierce attack on Luken without saying a word, forcing him to use all his strength and use his special power to teleport them both into the Emerald Dream.
Broll was surprised to find Luken under attack, and frantically thought of a way to deal with it. After some effort, he successfully persuaded Eranikus to escort them to the Great Shade, so that they could enter the mysterious Emerald Dream.
In this fantastic place, they encountered the ancient and powerful war tree, Nayar. Nayar keenly realized that Eranikus had been corrupted and was no longer trustworthy, and issued a stern warning. However, Tyrande and Broll firmly believed that Eranikus still retained kindness in his heart, and they tried their best to persuade Nayar to let him go.
Just as they were about to go deep into the Emerald Dream, the Nightmare Dragon Lethon suddenly appeared like a ghost and launched a fierce attack on them. Surprisingly, Eranikus disappeared quietly at the critical moment, leaving everyone in a desperate situation. Although Nayar had doubts, out of sympathy for the night elves and his insistence on justice, he decided to do his best to assist these brave warriors.
However, fate always seems to like to play tricks on people, and Nayar is unfortunately involved in the terrible Emerald Nightmare and cannot extricate himself. At this critical moment, Eranikus appears again, but this time he is in trouble. Lethon and Emeriss both attack and try to corrupt the green dragon.
When Eranikus was on the verge of death, Alexstrasza descended from the sky like a savior. She defeated the enemy with amazing strength, rescued Eranikus and forced the enemy back. Later, the Red Dragon Queen used her wisdom and charm to successfully persuade Eranikus to devote himself to the cause of helping the night elves, and also encouraged him to help Ysera resist the erosion of the Emerald Nightmare.
In the end, the night elves joined hands with the regained green dragon and resolutely stepped into the Emerald Dream polluted by nightmares. A thrilling adventure began.
The three of them learned from Luken about Sora's whereabouts and her sinister and cunning plan to assassinate Malfurion. Tyrande was extremely anxious after hearing this shocking news. She rushed in the direction of Sora's escape without hesitation. She only wanted to stop this terrible conspiracy as soon as possible and never let the orcs succeed! However, Broll tried his best but could not catch up with Tyrande who was running away like lightning.
Then, Ysera led his mighty green dragons to continue to assist Broll in carrying out the crucial mission of rescuing Malfurion. One of the huge green dragons was willing to serve as Broll's mount, carrying him to the place where Malfurion was imprisoned. They flew at full speed all the way and finally arrived at their destination - Malfurion was imprisoned.
Malfurion knew the Nightmare's desire for Ysera, because once he got Ysera, the Nightmare would not only be able to erode the Emerald Dream, but also quickly spread to the entire Azeroth continent with its more powerful power. Then, Tyrande, Broll, Luken, Sora and Malfurion boarded a green dragon together, ready to escape from this strange Emerald Dream.
Malfurion's dream was closely connected to his body, which made him gradually wake up in the Moonglade. However, the other four were still being attacked mercilessly by Emeriss; at this moment, they urgently needed a portal to the world of Azeroth. Finally, they successfully returned to Azeroth through the portal, but unfortunately, they were ambushed by the corrupted Nayar tribe as soon as they landed. After a fierce battle, except for Luken, the other three fell into the terrible Emerald Nightmare again.
Luken used his own strength to send his companions back to their original place, but Eranikus was heartbroken by Ysera's departure. He insisted on staying and was determined to go alone to rescue his beloved partner.
The four of them were teleported to Stormwind City in the blink of an eye. The city was magnificent, full of the vicissitudes of history and a strong magical atmosphere. They walked through the bustling streets and went straight to Stormwind Fortress in the city center.
In the fortress hall, they finally met the legendary king, Varian Wrynn. Varian was tall and mighty, with a firm and deep gaze, and exuded a majestic temperament. At first, Varian seemed a little wary and cautious about the arrival of Sora, a stranger, but when Broll came forward to vouch for him, the king's attitude eased a little.
Broll took the opportunity to ask Varian about the whereabouts of their mutual friend Valeera, but to his disappointment, even the king himself did not know where Valeera was now. Varian had no choice but to order Major Martinelli to accompany them to the trade zone where the Darnassus ambassador was.
The group soon arrived at their destination, a dilapidated inn. Sora and the colonel were on guard at the door, while Broll and Tyrande carefully walked into the ambassador's room. In the corner of the room, they were pleasantly surprised to find the hearthstone that they had been looking for, which was connected to Teldrassil!
Just as the two were preparing to study how to use this hearthstone, suddenly, a mysterious force emerged from all directions. Then, a master tortured by nightmares appeared in front of them and launched a fierce attack on Tyrande! Faced with the sudden change, Tyrande remained calm and quickly cast a powerful spell to fight back.
After a fierce battle, Tyrande successfully repelled the enemy. But at this moment, the situation became increasingly critical: the master could come back at any time, and they didn't have much time left... So Tyrande acted decisively and persuaded Broll to activate the Hearthstone immediately. Broll knew the urgency of the situation and followed her advice without hesitation. With a flash of dazzling light, they instantly disappeared from the spot and teleported to the distant Darnassus.
Broll was surprised to find himself surrounded by a group of druids when he landed. These druids looked suspicious and regarded him as a traitor. Although Broll tried his best to explain the truth and told everyone that Fandral was the real traitor, the crowd did not seem to buy it. A conflict was about to break out.
