My Rebirth and the Strange Adventure of Black Zhen

Chapter 389: Strange Bathory Family Cuisine (Prologue)

Compared to the well-dressed Wolf King Greymane and his men, the Alliance mages hiding in the dark inside Bathory Castle were in a much more miserable state.

A dense fel energy barrier covers the entire Bathory Castle.

The Alliance captured mages in Bathory Castle were unable to leave via teleportation and had to hide from place to place.

Knowing that the hateful demon lord Mephisto from another world has the unique ability to absorb people and transform them into energy, Bronk is worried that the captured Alliance wizard will be killed alone, so he searches the kitchens, granaries and other places inside Bathory Castle.

Unexpectedly, Bronk failed to find any trace of the Alliance's captured mages in several kitchens and food warehouses.

Instead, Bronk encountered some demons transformed by Mephisto, the evil lord of another world.

In the process of killing these demons, Bronck discovered some traces of teleportation magic.

"It seems that the first thing that the Hateful Demon King Mephisto of the other world thought of was to seek more reinforcements." Bronk habitually left behind the magic crystal for transmission coordinates and surveillance.

"I don't believe that the Alliance mages trapped in Bathory Castle carried enough rations with them. I bet the Alliance mages who escaped couldn't resist the hunger and ran out to find food."

For the next whole day, Bronk hid in the dark and watched for any Alliance mages to appear.

During this period, Bronck's familiar Dalgerwen reported that the Alliance army led by Wolf King Greymane had recaptured the Alliance camp.

Bronk didn't find any Alliance mages for nearly twenty hours. "If Leah Blackjean was here, I could at least take turns to rest."

Just as Blanche was complaining, a surveillance crystal in a kitchen inside Castle Bathory showed an Alliance mage stealthily collecting a large amount of food.

"Based on the amount of food collected by the Alliance mages, he must have accomplices."

In order to track and investigate more information about the Alliance mages, Bronke, who was teleported over immediately, did not choose to control the Alliance mages who were collecting a large amount of food, but tracked them in the spiritual state of his servant.

Perhaps not satisfied with the magical bread created by magic, the Alliance mages who collected a large amount of food began to devour it.

While the Alliance mage's attention was still on the food, Bronk showed up and left magic marks on the Alliance mage and the package.

After completing the primary objective, Bronk became curious about when the food the Alliance mages were eating was made.

You must know that the reason why the Burning Legion and the hateful demon lord Mephisto from another world were able to defeat the alliance of native people from another world who controlled Bathory Castle was because they tampered with the water and food.

Fearing that something unexpected would happen to the Alliance Mage in front of him, Bronk even prepared his purification skills. Once he found that the Alliance Mage showed signs of evolving into a demon or turning into an undead, Bronk would be able to stop it immediately.

Fortunately, nothing unusual happened after the Alliance mage had eaten and drunk his fill.

With a hint of suspicion, Bronck followed the Alliance mages and discovered the hiding place of the Alliance mages trapped in Bathory Castle.

"Look at me, guys, and see what good stuff I brought back."

"It's barbecue." Another Alliance mage snatched the package with excitement on his face.

Other Alliance mages in the hiding place swarmed over to grab food.

Rather than being pampered aristocratic lords, the Alliance mages in their hiding places were more like college students welcoming lunch into their dormitories, without paying any attention to dining etiquette.
