Mrs. Fu ventures into the entertainment industry

Chapter 42: A crying scene from the beginning?

At four o'clock in the morning, the alarm clock rang on time.

Su Su closed her eyes and reached for her cell phone, turned off the alarm, curled up in the quilt, closed her eyes, and planned to sleep for a few minutes before getting up and washing up.

Ten minutes later, the alarm rang again.

Su Su struggled to sit up from the bed, turned on the light, closed her eyes due to the stimulation of the light, and after a while, she slowly opened her eyes.

She forgot to draw the curtains last night. Looking through the window, it seemed to be drizzling outside. She wrapped herself tightly in the quilt. No wonder it was so cold.

Su Su found the remote control for the air conditioner and turned on the heater. She went to bed very suddenly last night and fell asleep right after chatting with Ran Ni, so the heater was not turned on.

The room soon became warm, and Su Su came out of bed and went straight to the bathroom to wash up.

After Su Su changed her clothes and opened the bedroom door, she saw one lying on the sofa and the other sleeping on the floor. There were some unfinished snacks on the coffee table.

Shen Shuyan, who was sleeping on the ground, seemed to feel cold. He wrapped the blanket tightly around himself, turned over and continued to sleep.

Didn't you say you were here to be her assistant?

Su Su shook her head helplessly, not knowing how long the two of them slept last night.

"Yanyan, don't sleep on the floor, you'll catch a cold." Su Su walked over and patted her back, her voice very soft.

Shen Shuyan groaned and opened his eyes dazedly. Since the lights in the living room were off and only the lights in the bedroom were on, he saw the shadow printed on the wall. He opened his eyes instantly, sat up, and screamed shrilly: "Oh my god, there's a ghost."

The sound woke up Xiaoran who was sleeping.

Su Su covered her ears and moved away from her.

Shen Shuyan even stopped breathing. She was nearsighted and didn't wear contact lenses. She retreated to the sofa and saw that the shadow was still there. She reached out to find a sense of security, her mind was confused: "Xiaoran, there is a ghost."

With a "swish" sound, bright light instantly filled the entire living room.

"Shen Shuyan, open your eyes and take a good look. Am I a ghost or a human?" Su Su crossed her arms.

Shen Shuyan raised his head to block the light for a moment and hadn't reacted yet.

"Sister Susu, are you awake?" Xiaoran looked at her neatly dressed, then glanced at the sky which was still dark, "Sister Susu, are you going to the crew so early?"

"Well, Director Wang sent a notice in the group last night that the shooting will start at six o'clock. Let's go early to do the makeup and styling." Su Su said.

Xiaoran nodded. No wonder Sister Su Su didn’t tell her the time.

"Sister Susu, please wait for a few minutes. I'll be ready soon." Xiaoran got up and ran into the bedroom.

In the living room, Shen Shuyan and Su Su were left staring at each other.

"Aren't you here to be my assistant?" Su Su raised her eyebrows at her.

Shen Shuyan scratched his hair embarrassedly and smiled awkwardly: "I forgot, I'll go change my clothes now." After saying that, Shen Shuyan got up and wanted to go to the bedroom.

Su Su held her shoulders. She was just joking. "Okay, go back to sleep. Tell Xiaoran that I'm going to the crew first."

Shen Shuyan nodded. She didn't really want to go either. After all, she was still sleepy. When Su Su said that, she was naturally very happy, but she pretended to be sad: "Ah, then I can't accompany you."

Su Su was already used to her acting anytime and anywhere, so she followed her lead and chuckled, "Since you can't bear to leave me, then come with me. I'll wait for you."

Hearing this, Shen Shuyan was stunned for a moment, then sniffed: "Then you may have to wait for me for a long time. I still need to put on makeup. If I don't put on makeup, I can't see anyone at all."

In fact, Shen Shuyan has a good foundation, with delicate features and skin as white as milk. His only shortcoming is that he likes to act in front of Su Su.

Su Su pulled the corner of her mouth speechlessly: "..."

"Stop pretending and stop making so many excuses. I know you don't want to go." Su Su exposed her directly.

Shen Shuyan returned to his usual expression: "Hehe, you're so nice. I'll go back to my bedroom and sleep."

Su Su went to the crew.

In the studio, Director Wang was communicating with the lighting technician on the intercom: "Come a little closer, a little to the right, there are too many, turn back, stop, right, right, this angle is just right, wait for Su Su to come, then we'll start shooting."

Director Wang also put a lot of thought into this play. The crew arrived a week in advance, and the thatched huts were built by the crew themselves.

When Su Su arrived on the set, she greeted Director Wang first and then went to the RV.

In the RV, the light green costume was already hung next to the makeup mirror.

Su Su changed into her costume, which wrapped around her body and highlighted her soft lines. The hem of her skirt was embroidered with exquisite flowers, like blooming flowers.

Because it was cold, Su Su put on a long black down jacket outside. Su Su sat in front of the makeup mirror, reading the script while the makeup artist put on her makeup.

This scene starts out as a crying scene.

After finishing her makeup, the makeup artist started to do her hair.

Because it is a fantasy drama, a wig is needed. It was Su Su's first time and she felt uncomfortable with it. The length of the wig was just at the hips and it would pull her hair when she sat down.

In order not to keep everyone waiting for too long, Su Su got out of the RV as soon as she was done.

Director Wang was very satisfied with Su Su's look and nodded: "I said I was right. You look very similar to the original heroine."

Su Su has read the original novel, and it is undeniable that she and Qingzhi are indeed highly compatible.

"All departments, prepare for filming." Director Wang sat in front of the computer with the script next to him and spoke into the walkie-talkie.

When Su Su stood at the designated position, Su Su and Director Wang made arrangements. Director Wang understood: "Action."

Su Su was immediately immersed in the plot, and her eyes became bright and innocent.

The thatched hut was lit only by light bulbs on the beams.

The grandmother, who was sleeping on a shabby little bed covered with a quilt, suddenly coughed. Qingzhi woke up from her sleep and immediately ran to the bedside, squatted on the ground, held the grandmother's hand with one hand, and patted her back with the other hand.

"I took medicine, so why is it still so serious?" Qingzhi's face was filled with worry, and even her voice had a hint of tears.

"Grandma is fine, Qingzhi, go to bed." Grandma pushed her away, covered her mouth and continued coughing.

Suddenly, grandma's palm became wet. Qingzhi, who was always sensitive to the smell of blood, quickly smelled it and quickly spread her hand over grandma's hand, looking at the blood in her palm: "Grandma, why are you bleeding? It's Qingzhi's fault that I couldn't find good herbs to cure you."

Grandma weakly raised her head, brushed her face, and suppressed a cough: "Don't blame our Qingzhi, it's grandma who has always had this disease."

"You have been without parents since you were a child. If your parents were still alive, you wouldn't have to suffer so much."

Qingzhi's eyesight was blurred by tears. She grabbed the hand that was brushing her face, and her tears dripped onto the ground: "It's Qingzhi who is useless. I will go to the mountain to find herbs to make medicine for you tomorrow."

Grandma kept comforting Qingzhi. Qingzhi didn't want to make her grandma worry, so she ran to boil medicine for her. Only after her grandma finished drinking it and fell asleep did Qingzhi feel relieved.

Qingzhi went to look through some medical books.

Among them, the Platycodon grandiflorum recorded in the book is the most effective in treating cough and phlegm.

Qingzhi found a pen and paper and drew the picture of Platycodon in the book. After finishing, she closed the book and looked at the pattern on the white paper in her hand, feeling very satisfied.

I turned my head and looked at the old woman who was frowning in her sleep, hoping that the Platycodon grandiflorum mentioned in the book could cure my grandmother's illness.

"Cut, one time pass." Director Wang gave the order.
