Crossing the World of Warcraft: I am an Ancient God
Chapter 23 Stormwind City
After half a day's rest, Yun finally got some rest.
Yun thought about it for a long time but still didn't know what this instance meant. He just remembered that it was a prison riot, but when he got to the instance, it seemed very quiet. At least there were no guards or prisoners where Yun was, which made Yun very strange.
After all, it was still a dungeon. Yun was not that bold. He changed his equipment and sneaked forward along the wall.
The prison in reality is much larger than the copy. Yun walked slowly for a long time and felt that he had only seen one side. He didn’t know how many sides there were. However, all the cell doors were open. The place where Yun came before was indeed the entrance, but it was blocked. Although he didn’t know what happened, it seemed that it must be no trivial matter.
Yun tried to continue walking inside, but after walking for a long time there were still no prisoners, no signs of fighting, no blood. Everything felt like the prisoners had successfully escaped and the prison was now closed.
Yun also found several relatively large cells, which seemed to have special functions. If they were in the game, they should be the BOSS's room. Unfortunately, they are empty now. Yun discovered through stealth that although there were no prisoners, there were many hidden traps on the ground. The traps were not placed long ago, and they were not very powerful traps. They were more of a warning nature. Fortunately, Yun discovered these traps in time through stealth.
Yun also quickly discovered something that was different from the copy. The prison had a second underground floor, and there were people at the doors of the two passages leading to the second underground floor, and they looked like prisoners.
Yun was not sure whether the prisoner was a friend or an enemy, so he prepared to go quietly to the second underground floor.
"Who?" came a voice from the door.
Yun didn't dare to show up, but many people had already rushed out from below. What surprised Yun the most was the werewolf.
"Friend, come out." A man in the crowd said, staring at Yun's position with a sword in his hand.
"Although you are very good at stealth, this is a prison. Many of the people in here are thieves. You can't hide." The person on the other side continued.
Yun cursed inwardly. This was a prison, and the thing that was most lacking was thieves. It would be strange if he was not discovered while sneaking among a bunch of thieves. He was wondering why there were traps before, but now he realized that this was a prison, and there were many people who could set traps.
Yun showed up, but did not move forward. Instead, he hid a little far away. The other party was slightly relieved when he saw Yun show up.
"Little brother, how did you get down? The entrance should have been blocked." The person on the other side saw that Yun was the only one there and he was not a guard, so he felt relieved.
"I don't know either. I was swimming and suddenly I fainted. When I opened my eyes I was here." Yun really didn't know what to say, so he could only tell the truth in this ambiguous way. Although Yun's clothes were dry, the dried water stains on them also indirectly proved that Yun was not lying.
The other party was obviously very happy, as if he saw some hope, and did not doubt Yun's identity.
"Do you know what's going on?" Yun asked tentatively.
"Little brother, how do you sneak?"
"inconvenient."
"I understand. It's fate that we're here. Now that we're all family, things will be much easier." The other party was obviously much more relaxed.
"Where is this?"
"Stormwind Prison." The middleman let down his guard and walked to Yun's side.
"Prison?" Yun pretended to be shocked.
"Yes." A man who should be the leader pulled Yun to sit on the ground, "Go quickly, continue, or we will all suffocate to death here."
"How did I get here? Was I arrested?" Yun continued to pretend to be confused.
"My name is Digar."
"Claude." Yun was still on guard.
"It's okay, don't worry. Many of us are thieves, and maybe some of us know your master. As for the current situation, it's a bit special."
Digar briefly introduced the current situation.
A riot broke out in the prison under the instigation of several big guys. There were many magic guards in the prison. With the help of experts, they quickly dealt with the magic guards and broke free from their control. However, the prison gate was in Stormwind City. As soon as the magic guards were dealt with, the guards outside got the news and prepared defenses outside the prison gate. Everyone tried to rush out twice but failed.
Knowing that the prison was occupied, the other party simply blocked the only passage. It wasn't completely blocked, and they didn't want to suffocate everyone to death. They just wanted to make the prisoners faint from hunger so that they could come in and clean up the mess.
But since the boss had started a riot, he had already made a plan. He was not going to rush out through the main gate. Even if he broke through the guards outside the gate, there were so many soldiers in Stormwind City. If the other side gathered a little, he would have no chance of winning. The original plan was to set up a magic circle on the third underground floor, preparing to open a passage to the inner river of Stormwind City, so that everyone could get out quietly.
However, the wizard who was found had limited knowledge of this large magic circle. Although he had studied it intensively before coming in, he had no practice and the circle had not been successful. However, the circle was successful for a while just now, and it only brought in a stream of water. Digar guessed that the cloud might have been brought in with the water, but was trapped in the first layer.
After hearing this, Yun had the urge to kill the system. What kind of thing was this? He was a noble son, but now a group of thieves considered him their companion. How embarrassing it would be to tell others about this. Besides, it looked like these people couldn't get out. Did the system bring him here to kill them? Or to save them?
Fortunately, I turned on the "stealth" function and was considered one of their own by the other party. Otherwise, I wouldn't even know how I died.
Yun was taken to the second floor and saw that many prisoners were wearing some leather armor and had a large number of weapons. Yun was really curious about how these prisoners got the weapons, and there were also quite a few werewolves and gnolls in the team.
"Little brother, take a weapon," said Digar.
Yun looked at the remaining weapons and originally wanted to take the sword, but then he remembered that he was still a thief, so he took two daggers.
"Two?" Digar asked in surprise.
"Shadow Step, Mutilate." Yun picked up the dagger and used his skills on Digar.
Digar was only surprised for a moment, then he used his dagger to block Yun's attack, but nodded to Yun.
Yun knew that Digar was worried about him because his appearance was too special, and his choice of weapon might be a test of him. However, after these two skills, it was proved that Yun was at least not a soldier. It didn't matter what kind of thief he was. The most important thing was to get out.
Inside the second layer, Yun saw an exceptionally strong werewolf.
"Boss Hodi, this is a bit beyond our expectations," Digar said.
"Yeah, I didn't expect that your human prison would be built so solidly. I thought the weapons I brought were enough. Let's see if Hill Iven can break through. If not, we can use gunpowder to blow up the entrance." Hodi said.
"I hope Hill Iven can do it. After all, it is easy for explosives to collapse the entrance, and it is also difficult to get out of the entrance." Digar was also helpless.
Yun said nothing and followed Digar down to the third floor.
The third floor was much smaller than the first two floors, and there were obviously fewer people. However, on one wall, several people were drawing strange patterns, and there was a lot of water on the ground.
"Xil Ivan, can you do it?"
"I've said before that I can only give it a try. After all, this kind of space spell is very difficult, and the other side is in the water." A thin man wearing a robe different from the others.
Yun walked up to the pattern.
Isn't this the demon portal? It's just a little smaller. There should be two of this kind of portal. Where is the one on the opposite side?
"There should be two of these, what about the one on the opposite side?" Yun asked tentatively.
"Huh? You can do it?" Hilly Eve hurriedly walked to Yun.
"No, but I've seen them. Aren't they usually in a row?" Yun asked curiously.
"A row? How much power do you need to support a row of them?"
"Here, here, here, fill it in. I think it's different from what I saw." Yun looked at the pattern. There were some faint shadows in some places, just like the feeling of doing a task. Yun knew that the failure was due to these places, so he pointed them out.
Hill Iven looked at it carefully and then filled in these places.
"How about this?" asked Hill Ivan.
"Well, now it looks very similar."
Hill Iven took out an inconspicuous stone from his arms and placed it on the portal.
As the wall began to distort, a darkness appeared on the wall.
"Is this working?"
"It should be. I'll go in first." Just as Hilly Eve was about to go in, he was stopped by Digar.
"No, what if something goes wrong midway. You go in first and be careful." He pointed to someone next to him and said.
The man said nothing and walked straight into the darkness.
Someone has already told the people on the second floor the news, and everyone has come to the third floor.
Suddenly a hand stretched out from the shadows.
"It's working." The man came back and said.
"Great! According to the power of the gem, there is only one hour left. We must hurry." said Hill Ivan.
"Okay, let's go in." Digar didn't care anymore and pulled Yun into the shadows.
After walking out of the shadow, Yun looked around and found that it should be a dilapidated house.
"What's your name?" Digar pulled Yun to the side and put the dagger on Yun's neck.
"Claude."
"full name."
"Claude, Defias." Yun really didn't know what name to give him.
"Defias." The thieves who came out with Digar were all shocked.
"Are you from the Defias family?" Digar asked with narrowed eyes.
"I don't know. I was told that his name was Claude Defias. As for whether he is from the Defias family, I don't know." Yun started to pretend to be confused again.
Digar was not sure either, but as he watched more and more people emerge from the shadows, he knew this was not a good time to identify them.
"Follow me." So Digar took Yun and left, with many thieves following behind.
Yun and his group walked among the houses, and when they occasionally met people they pretended nothing had happened.
Yun watched them walk further and further away, and felt that he had been a little hasty in this dungeon. He didn't kill any monsters and inexplicably became a thief.
After walking along a rugged path, Digal brought Yun to a very inconspicuous small door. When they entered the house, there were very few people inside. Digal said a few words to the people who escaped from prison with him, and most of the others left.
"Boss, this is... the guy I met in prison. His last name is Defias." Digal took Yun to another room.
"Defias? We have records of everyone in the prison, and there is no one from the Defias family." The leader looked at Yun and said with a cold tone.
"It should be pulled here by our teleportation array." Digar explained.
"Oh, what a coincidence. Welcome." The leader did not ask any further questions and said with a smile on his face.
Yun stayed there under such circumstances. Although he knew that the other party did not trust him, he did not know where he was now, and he did not know whether these thieves had any other means. He could only rest here carefully. However, Yun did not relax. He took this opportunity to review his thief skills. Since he was now a thief, he had to do well to avoid problems.
Just when Yun was practicing, a strange man came and talked to the leader for a long time, and then everyone was called in soon.
