Male Succubus Apocalypse
Chapter 8: The Plane of the Undead
The gray sky, the thunder and lightning, the desolate land, the air filled with large particles of dust, and the smell of death and decay entered the lungs.
This is the plane of the dead, where life ends and death is born.
Somewhere in the air, the void suddenly twitched like rippling water. The next second, Vivian appeared quietly with a white irregular prism suspended in her right hand. On her left shoulder stood a gray-fur cat, its fur standing up as if in fear.
In this endless, colorless place, Vivian, dressed in blue and white, and the prism in her hand that reflects colorful light, seem like a star piercing through the darkness.
Vivian looked indifferently at the black waves rolling in from afar. They were undead monsters that had sensed the presence of living people and were flocking to them.
Skeletons holding worn-out scimitars stepped on the sand on the land. Floating transparent ghosts roared in the void, dyed yellow by the dust. There were corpses of various sizes, heights and thinnesses mixed in with them. Green water seeped in the crowded space and black blood was vomited from their mouths.
There are also various monsters that are difficult to describe, but the most threatening one is the organized and disciplined army in the rear.
Teams acted as vanguards, defeating the undead blocking their way. They were skeletons riding on skeleton warhorses, with soul fire in their eyes and wearing heavy armor.
Among them, the one crossing over was a taller and stronger knight, riding a horse with flames of various colors, and wearing a headless armor that flashed with a green halo.
Following behind were liches emitting black gas and a suffocating ominous aura. They had different shapes, but their soul fire, which seemed evil yet as bright as the sun, could not conceal their identities.
A sound broke through the air.
Bird-man skeletons with bone wings and sickles in their hands rose into the air along with the huge bone dragon, and even rushed towards Vivian more powerful than the cavalry under them.
This is the "Knights of the Dry Bones" that has spread to the outside world in fear. Each of these seemingly ordinary cavalrymen was a powerful warrior in their lifetime, and those headless knights were heroes that might have been written about in history books.
However, they did not return to their hometowns or become heroic spirits under the throne of the gods, but were forcibly recalled by Julie and became puppets driven by her.
Vivian snorted coldly, and unlike the cat on her shoulder that was already trembling with fear at the scene, her expression was full of contempt and disdain.
"Level 10! Reorganize the space!" Vivian swung the prism in her hand forward, and a beam of magic power emerged from her body, instantly piercing through the dark clouds above.
With the prism as the center, dense white threads are like rain marks flowing on glass on a rainy day, extending infinitely in this world to the invisible other side, including interspersed among the army of undead.
Levels one to three are bronze levels, which can be considered strong fighters among mortals. Levels four to six are silver levels, which can be considered masters among the strong. Levels seven to nine are gold levels, which are the top existences among masters and can dominate the continent. Going further up, there are tenth-level demigods and eleventh-level pseudo-gods. One person can defeat an army of 100,000 and has the extraordinary ability to reclaim land, destroy the world, and fill the sea.
Today, Xu Heng had a direct feeling.
When everything was filled with white lines reflecting colorful light, the entire world turned into a spider silk cave, and even the skeleton army in the distance was "stuck" and unable to move.
He spun the prism in front of his hand, and with a "click" sound, the white lines turned into real cracks. The entire world suddenly shattered into pieces of rotating and floating fragments, as if he had entered a huge kaleidoscope.
"Close!" Vivian shouted loudly, and the white light on her body enveloped the entire space. In another blink of an eye, the world was restored, but all the undead spirits disappeared without a trace.
But there was a thick layer of white substance on the ground.
Smashing skeletons cannot kill the undead in this plane. In other words, in this plane, there is a constant supply of death energy, and the undead are "immortal".
So Vivian did not "kill" them, but cut them into grains of sand through the division of space, and not physically, but spatially, separating them into separate parts, so that they were no longer an entity and could not even move.
To truly become a dead thing is terrifying. For the living, it is the nihilistic torture of having their senses shattered and their limbs disappear. Sometimes we have to be thankful that they are undead spirits without emotions or pain!
"Willful witch, don't you want to walk out of this space alive? For the sake of Old Man Time, I will not pursue your unauthorized intrusion. However, you destroyed all my legions with forbidden spells and prevented them from resurrecting. You need to pay the price!" Suddenly, gray clouds gathered in the sky, and the image of a misty woman several tens of meters tall condensed, looking down at Vivian. Angry voice poured out from the lightning and thunder, and the murderous intent implied in it seemed to take shape.
"I was worried that you would run away!" Vivian sneered, and with a wave of her hand, the prismatic crystal disappeared in an instant, and a sudden change occurred. It seemed that some kind of substance was faintly filled in the void, causing colorful halos to flash between the lightning.
"Is this the Space-Time Prism? It's really interesting after seeing it for the first time." Julie felt that the space of the plane was completely blocked, but she didn't care at all. She just thought it was an achievement worthy of praise. "Perhaps turning you into an undead can repay my legion."
"If you hand over the Soul Scepter, I can spare your life." Vivian acted indifferent, staring coldly at the human figure in the sky.
"What a joke! You are really courting death! You little brat who relies on your escape skills to act so arrogantly. You are blocking the space and courting death!" The human-shaped mist roared, and with a pointing of its giant hand, the sky full of gray gas swept towards Vivian - this is death energy, a death energy so huge that it even blocked the sky!
Killing a person can only gain a tiny bit of death energy, but here it is impossible to estimate! It is even luxurious enough to be used as a means of direct attack, and it is piled all at once on the enemy!
But Vivian remained calm. Instead, she put her hands together and began to chant her most powerful arcane spell with great concentration: "Rampant time, scattered space, following the trajectory of the stars in the sky..."
The sweeping fog could not penetrate any further once it reached one meter away from her, as if there was a wall separating Vivian from everything in the outside world.
Only Julie, who was hidden in the mist, knew that it was not space magic, but time magic! Vivian traced back the dead air around her that wanted to approach, and made them repeatedly stay one meter away.
Can you reach this level without chanting? Julie was very surprised. She could vaguely feel that Vivian was performing an arcane spell that was beyond the tenth level.
It should be the origin of the evil name "Willful Witch" and the arcane magic that countless powerful people and even gods fear - "Time and Space Disintegration", a spell that destroys planes by dissolving space and then destroying time.
This was actually more frightening than her own soul-killing move, because gods had their kingdoms—of course, they were not strong enough to blow up the kingdoms of gods—and many demigods also had their own planes, which were their reliance for survival, and Vivian had destroyed them at the source, touching everyone's red line.
Especially since she actually did it, and more than once, just to get the treasure, she threatened others with the entire plane, and thus she was labeled as "willful" and "female devil".
Although she has restrained herself a lot recently, she has already crossed the bottom line of many people. Vivian can do this only because she is the "time and space" mage with the strongest escape ability, and no one can do anything about it.
There is also a false god standing behind him who has existed since ancient times, an existence that even gods have to respect - Father Time.
Once Vivian has completed the spell, their business will be ruined, and they may even be caught by Vivian, unable to escape, and they will no longer be able to use soul attacks multiple times without concern.
But no matter how strong or powerful he is, Julie doesn't feel afraid of him in her own plane! Because the attack of the soul transcends time and space!
With so much dead energy, she never thought about using it for attacking purposes, but rather to replenish her soul that might be damaged in the future.
Chant! Soon, you won't be able to chant any spells!
"Tenth level! Soul anchoring! Tenth level! Soul presentation! Tenth level! Soul link!" Julie cast tenth-level spells instantly one after another. Even though she didn't have to use her natal magic weapon like Vivian, she could do it in this plane.
If her attacks were sniper bullets, these spells were the locked sights and the created sniper scenes. Once they were locked, they would be eliminated, even if Weiwei ran away, she would definitely die! ——Before, Weiwei had never given her time to launch them, and in the outside world, she couldn't do it so smoothly and instantly.
No one has ever survived this attack, not even gods! Julie is confident that she can kill them all!
"The other side of death, the birth of the soul, the withering of chaos, the dawn of the fall of the sky! Eleventh level! The fall of the soul!" This is the benefit of being in the plane. It does not require too much chanting, which greatly saves time and magic power consumption (here is the death energy).
Instant sniper!
The mist in front of Vivian suddenly opened up to form a passage, and a tall woman in an exquisite black dress stood in front of her. She had soft, wavy black hair that reached her waist, and her fair skin had a morbid beauty. Her deep, dark eyes had a captivating cold light, and her whole body was elegant and charming, which made people subconsciously think of girls from the Western Regions.
The diamonds inlaid on the skirt complement the earrings, necklaces, rings, etc. made of the same material, adding a touch of luxury and beauty.
What deserves more attention is the seemingly ordinary-looking body-length black wooden staff in his hand. This is the "Soul Scepter" that has killed countless people and made the world tremble. It is the natal magic weapon of the Soul Weaver, Julie Alera!
Julie raised her beautiful eyes in a proud manner, straightened her staff, and pointed it at Vivian who was still chanting. At a speed faster than the human eye could see, an obsidian-colored sphere that was emitting blazing light and covering the sky suddenly fell down from the sky.
It was as if a star in the sky was pulled into this dimension, bringing about the end of destruction!
This is actually Julie's soul, a complete soul, so terrifying!
What was even faster was that, it should be said that long before entering this plane, Vivian had cast the spatial causal binding spell, overlapping herself and the cat on her shoulder. If she wanted to cast the spell, she would have to attack both her and the cat at the same time.
But Julie didn't care from the beginning, because no matter who it was, her attack could kill and penetrate instantly, and the number was not enough to be used as a measure.
Even if the cat is some hidden powerful being, it's totally useless!
However, soon, Julie was dumbfounded because her soul attack missed! But how could this be possible!
The kitten on Vivian's shoulder was so scared that it hugged its head, tears were streaming down its face, and its fur was all ruffled. But after a moment of confusion, it realized that it was fine, and began to look around tremblingly.
"This... How is this possible!" Julie couldn't believe it, and then went through the process again, and "died" again, but it was useless. The fact remained the same, she missed, but she had clearly locked onto Vivian.
unless……
Julie thought of a terrible guess, that is, Vivian has already comprehended the spell of cause and effect and fate, and can avoid her strong lock. But if this is really the case, there is no need for Vivian to come and blow up the plane, she can just kill her directly by cause and effect.
Thinking of this, Julie couldn't help but laugh at her own absurdity. Even the current thirteenth-level True Ancestor God who represents the will of the world cannot do such a thing!
Could it be that cat?
Why did Vivian want to superimpose herself and the cat together? To become a conjoined entity?
Because Julie's locking spell does not lock the soul directly based on cause and effect, but locks the space. In this plane, as long as there is someone there, she can lock it. Logically, it is impossible for her to not be able to lock Vivian.
Then the problem is the cat!
"Soul manifestation!" Julie had no choice but to cast a spell to display the soul of another person, similar to the ability of a male succubus.
Vivian's soul form is just an ordinary little version of herself and the throne of rules that symbolizes her entry into the demigod level and the creation of rules.
And the cat, the cat! It's chaos!
Reconstructing the soul! Reconstructing the soul! How is it possible!
"Who are you! Who are you? Which ancient undead god? Damn it!... Dear sir, whatever you want, I will give it to you! Why are you attached to a mere tenth-level little guy? Damn it! You can't..." Julie screamed crazily. She felt that the cat must be a god whose spiritual attainments far surpassed hers.
She also realized that her magic was no longer effective and that she could only wait for death, so she began to plead for mercy halfway through her speech.
Julie didn't use the time to run. Not only was it too late, but her opponent was the strongest "space-time" mage who was good at restricting and chasing. Basically, she had nowhere to hide.
However, it was too late to beg for mercy. Vivian opened her eyes, which she had just closed to concentrate. It was as if she was looking at a dead person. The eyes were cold, mocking, and tyrannical. These were the eyes of the "witch" that countless people feared.
"Level 11! Space disintegration!" Without any delay, Julie went crazy where she was.
The world shattered, the sky and the earth turned upside down, myriad colors exploded before our eyes, like endless fireworks, and everything returned to nothingness and the sighs of those who came later.
When Vivian appeared again, she had returned to the Mage Tower, holding the black wooden staff in her hand, her face flushed, and she looked extremely happy, which was completely different from the killer attitude she had just shown in the Undead Plane.
Xu Heng also untied the transformation spell. Cold sweat had already wet his back, and the uncontrollable trembling of his fingertips showed how nervous he was just now.
He didn't dare look at Vivian, he was frightened.
As expected! The innocent girl was just an illusion, she was clearly a bloody killer!
"Okay, Xiao Heng, I'll give you Julie's space ring. There are a lot of undead research in it. This is what you deserve. I will study this staff first, and then I will teach you later." Vivian looked at Xu Heng with a smile, but her eyes were a little dim, obviously knowing that Xu Heng's performance was expected.
Xu Heng took it awkwardly and swallowed his saliva. He looked at Weiwei's back and finally said, "Master... Master, what do you want to eat tonight?"
After hearing this, Vivian, who was about to leave, was stunned. She turned halfway around and responded with a smile on her face: "Then let's have a super large portion of pudding!"
"Master, I told you, this will be boring..."
"Ah, then you prepare yourself!"
A general who has killed many people sometimes desires most not people's respect, but people's love and normal treatment.
It is just like when a rich boy played with the son of a helper when he was little. He also did not want to grow up and inherit the wealth, but lose the precious affection he had lost because of his identity and status, and hear that familiar voice calling him "Master".
