As an adult man, I probably can't win.

"Wait here for a while. I'll go find the hunter."

Hearing some water sounds, Jinshui poked his head out and found Niu Li washing dishes, "Let me help you."

Niu Li quickly refused and waved his hand, "No, no, I'll get this done right away."

Jinshui and Xiuli rolled up their sleeves and picked up the bowls without saying a word.

"Let's work together faster."

The two men thought to themselves that the other person was very capable and did a good job, so they knew not to let the guests do it themselves.

Uncle San's family is one of the richest in the village, and they also let their son do these things. I don't know how Manguan and Fugui are superior to others. They just eat and don't do anything.

Which two unlucky guys will marry them in the future? They are so poor that they don’t even have decent clothes to wear when going out, and they have an old lady who is fussy, stingy and likes to scold people.

I actually hope that two powerful people will come and teach them a lesson so that I can vent my anger.

The third brother knew that the hunter had a small thatched hut on the mountain and lived there probably half of the month.

Fortunately, it was not flooded, so the chances of finding him there are very high.

Just as I was about to knock on the door, someone came out.

"You have something to do with me?"

The sudden opening of the door made the unprepared third child take a few steps back. He realized the question and said "hmm", then quickly denied it, "It's not me, it's my two nieces."

The hunter frowned. His nieces were all children. What could they want from him? They just caught some small things like rabbits, which couldn't be sold for much money. He was too lazy to make a trip. But since they were already here, he might as well ask them so that they wouldn't make a wasted trip.

"Your niece? What do you want from me?"

The third brother knew that this kind of thing was unbelievable, and he didn't believe it at first, but it really happened.

"They killed a wolf and want you to come over and see if you can give an estimate of the price."

The hunter had never had much dealings with the third brother before, but he had heard from others that he was an honest man, had a good soy milk business, and was very trustworthy.

But now it seems that this is not the case at all. Two children, little girls at that, killed a wolf and had to sacrifice half their lives. They used such words to fool people and thought they were fools.

It was so unlucky to encounter such a thing when going out early in the morning. The unfriendly look and the murderous aura around him made the third brother couldn't help but shrink back.

Not wanting to deal with him anymore, she simply picked up her tools and closed the door to leave.

Lao San hurriedly followed him and said, "What I said is true. I really killed a wolf. You can go and have a look. Everyone knows my reputation. Besides, there is no need to lie to you."

The hunter stopped and thought, indeed, what he said made some sense. The two of them didn't have much interaction in normal times, so there was no reason for him to take revenge on him. It would only be a trip and would waste some time, but it would not cause any serious consequences.

The third brother's reputation is indeed good, and the county magistrate gave him a plaque, so I'll trust him for now.

The third brother was a little dumb and not very good at talking. Seeing that he was about to leave, he felt anxious and had to explain stiffly.

“They really got…”

Before he could finish, the hunter turned around and said, "Let's go. You lead the way."

The third brother was overjoyed. He had originally had no hope and felt it was really embarrassing that he couldn't even accomplish such a small task. His nieces could even kill a wolf, but he couldn't even bring a person back.

It’s all right now. He laughed twice and said, “Let’s go.”

Soon they arrived at the third brother’s tent.

The hunter looked around but didn't see the wolf's body at all. He wondered if the wolf was lying to him.

Just as I was about to lose my temper, I heard a timid voice, "You must be the hunter uncle."

When I looked down, I saw an extremely thin child with a pale face and ill-fitting clothes that made him look even thinner.

Could this be the kid who killed the wolf? No matter how I looked at it, I couldn't believe it, but I still answered her question.

"I'm."

"Uncle, the wolf is not here. My sister and I put it in a place. Come with us. It is too heavy to carry. If we drag it here by force, it will be bad if someone finds it and steals it."

The hunter was still skeptical, but seeing that she certainly didn't seem like the type to lie, he knew there would be no benefit in lying to him.

"Okay, let's go."

Yan Zi was heavy and it was inconvenient for her to come, so she didn't come along. Niu Li stayed here to take care of his mother. Ni'er and Lao San followed them to see what was going on. They had only seen a few wolves in their entire lives.

When they arrived at the place, Jinshui and Xiuli pulled away the hay covering the corpse, and a huge wolf appeared before their eyes.

The hunter's eyes had never been so wide in his life.

The two little girls actually beat a wolf, and it was a very strong one.

I couldn't help but sigh.

“You guys are amazing.”

Jinshui twisted his hands together, feeling a little embarrassed.

"I didn't think too much about it at the time. It was either him or us, so I just smashed his head as hard as I could."

The hunter went forward and took a closer look. He saw many scars on the head, so densely packed that it was indeed as they said, the animal was killed by being hit by rocks. Fortunately, this part was supposed to be removed anyway, otherwise the price would have to be lowered.

Its hooves were covered in mud, so it took some time to clean them, but its fur wasn't badly damaged, so overall it was in pretty good condition.

"How did you get so much mud?"

"The wolf fell into a mud pit and couldn't move. We were able to kill it with stones. Otherwise, it might have been in its stomach by now."

No wonder, that's how the two of them were able to kill the wolf.

"There's so much mud on it, it's going to be hard to clean it."

Jinshui and Xiuli looked at each other. This was an attempt to lower the price, but what the other person said was indeed right.

He was going to capture this wolf, otherwise he wouldn't have said that. He felt both nervous and excited, as he would soon have the first money in his life.

"We know. Please name your price. I heard that your price is very fair."

The hunter thought to himself that this skin was a bit dirty. If it was clean, he could get more money. However, it was only worth four taels of silver now. He would have to skin it and wash it later, which would be a lot of trouble. So he just gave them this amount.

"Three taels of silver."

Jinshui and Xiuli actually didn't know what the normal selling price was, so they just went with whatever the other party said. They didn't expect a piece of skin to be so valuable. Come to think of it, they exchanged their lives for it, so how could it not be valuable?

After looking at each other, they both agreed to the price. They felt like their hearts were about to jump out of their mouths. They had never seen so much money before.

He tried to pretend to be calm, but his lips could no longer be suppressed and his voice was trembling.

"Okay, we agree. Deal, but you have to promise us one thing."
