A few days after Tang Mei's birthday, it was time for the autumn harvest.

The village chief notified all members yesterday that they would start the autumn harvest today.

Aunt Tang San got up early in the morning and prepared breakfast, planning to go to the fields to help with the autumn harvest today.

"Meimei, I've told your father, and he agreed." Aunt Tang San said as she buried her head in her porridge.

Tang Mei didn't notice her mother's guilty conscience. She was really worried, but her father agreed, so she had no choice but to go with her mother.

So the two of them picked up the backpacks from home and went to the brigade headquarters to gather. They were assigned work in their respective brigades, and everyone went up the mountain.
