Harry Potter: Glory Bows to Me

Chapter 107 February Christmas Chapter Arrives

Since Neville joined, their SO team's performance has been flourishing.

Except for the Herbology class, Neville's performance in other classes has improved a lot, and he can barely keep up with the average progress of everyone.

At least it was not like when he first entered school, when something would explode in every class - he and Seamus, who did experiments with him, were often sent to the school hospital, making a class full of dangers.

Neville said that his roommates were envious of his achievements in recent times.

They often asked him indirectly what their SO group did on a daily basis.

Ron, in particular, was almost bubbling with jealousy.

After their repeated questioning, Neville had no choice but to ask Amanta about this matter.

After getting Amanta's permission, Neville shared some of the learning experiences they had researched with them.

But the content shared is always incomplete, of course, this is Amanta's instruction.

She told Neville: "If they want to know what it's all about then - please ask them to apply to join the SO group, we welcome anyone who wants to find out how to study and improve their grades."

On several occasions, the whole dormitory strongly urged Neville to tell all his learning experiences without reservation.

Neville remembered what Amanta had said and asked them several times with trepidation whether they wanted to join the SO group.

But Ron is always the first to be unhappy at this time.

"There's no way I'm in the same room with Malfoy!"

Ron always said this, glaring at Neville.

Although Ron didn't say anything to Neville on the surface, he always seemed to feel that Neville had betrayed them.

Ron has been angry about this for a long time, and he has not completely forgiven Neville until now. Seamus and Dean don't want to make things too awkward in the dormitory, so they both give up joining the SO group.

But this did not calm Ron down.

He always complained about it openly at the Gryffindor table when Neville was away.

"Honestly, what's so great about that? I think they must be cheating! Those contents are completely different from the textbooks-"

"Like, they say that to make the demulcent more effective, you should cut the hellebore into pieces instead of chopping it? I bet they haven't even tried it themselves!"

Ron was discussing with Lavender beside him with saliva flying.

But this matter seemed to have aroused Percy's interest. As soon as he had inspected the entire Gryffindor table, he heard his younger brother talking about this matter eloquently.

"Are you serious?"

Percy paused, looking slightly surprised, but he quickly noticed his own gaffe.

"They found some tricks, better study methods than those taught in the textbooks, so that Longbottom's grades improved?"

Percy asked quietly before coughing and glancing around to make sure no one else was looking at him.

"Of course." Ron answered subconsciously, but when he reacted, he immediately looked at his brother with suspicion, "Do you want to join them too?"

Percy looked conflicted.

"That does sound good... but considering that I'm already in fifth grade and they're still a bunch of little brats, I think their study skills may not be of much use to me."

Ron immediately screamed.

"What? No way? Percy, are you really thinking about joining them? This is ridiculous!"

Percy immediately frowned: "Ron, don't forget that I am your brother and a prefect. Watch your attitude."

……

However, when it comes to Neville's achievements, it is more or less due to his hard work and diligence.

To be precise, he is a full-time test subject - and also a potion killer.

Draco couldn't tell you how many times his little potion tricks that he was so proud of had been nipped in the bud by Neville's single move.

It wasn't all bad though, as it allowed Draco to discover some truly useful and potentially better ways of dealing with medicinal herbs.

In addition, Amanta and Draco's poor Herbology performance has improved significantly under Neville's careful teaching.

After Neville took them to sneak into the greenhouse to identify the types of herbs several times, she could basically tell the species of these plants by the shape of their leaves and the number of petals.

Draco reluctantly admitted that it might be helpful.

“Sometimes I can’t tell if it’s because I’m afraid of being discovered – my brain is always racing at times like this.”

"And learned knowledge with extremely high efficiency?" Amanta took over the conversation.

This sounds outrageous, but...she feels the same way.

"……Correct."

Perhaps due to Neville’s influence, the most outrageous thing was that Amanta even occasionally found those magical plants a little cute.

The pot of scented plant Neville gave her was also growing well, although Amanta still didn't think it had any use other than decoration.

But because it could decorate her bedroom and was a gift, she convinced herself to keep it.

Christmas is coming soon.

A week before Christmas, there was a heavy snowfall at Hogwarts.

When Amanta walked to the small square after the first Transfiguration class in the morning, she found that the snow was several feet thick, deep enough to submerge her boots.

She was breathing in the air conditioner and had to go to the library to look up some books about heat preservation spells, constant temperature spells, heating flames and the like.

While they were having lunch, Professor Snape walked up to the Slytherin table and announced that the students who would stay over Christmas should register with him.

As soon as he finished his announcement, he glanced at Harry vaguely.

"Poor thing, Potter, I think you might be the only one in Slytherin who needs to be registered," he scoffed softly as he passed Harry.

Before Harry could speak, Draco immediately said, "Professor, I don't think Harry should need to register. Speaking of which, my father asked me to invite him and Amanta to spend Christmas at Malfoy Manor."

"..."

Snape's expression suddenly darkened: "Really?"

Draco saw that his godfather looked unhappy, so he quickly added.

"Of course, my father also invited you. After all, it has always been like this—"

"Hmph—" Snape snorted heavily.

He suddenly seemed to be in a bad mood and walked away angrily.

Harry grinned heartlessly.

"Draco, I know you didn't mean it, but... it feels like this is the first time that Snape has been humiliated in front of us."
