Harry Potter: Glory Bows to Me

Chapter 152: Dementors on the Journey

As the train slowly rolled through the English countryside, fields and mountains flashed past the windows, the three of them sat together and eagerly discussed the elective courses.

Amanta looked out the window, her heart full of anticipation. She couldn't wait to start the new school year and learn more knowledge to equip herself.

Draco was different. He was as elegant and indifferent as ever, commenting on the courses with a condescending attitude and seemed indifferent to everything.

Harry excitedly talked about what he knew about these courses, his eyes sparkling with curiosity.

He was passionate about Muggle Studies. Of course, he knew enough about Muggles, but he wanted to know more about how Muggles looked in the eyes of wizards.

He thought this aspect must be very interesting because he had always lived in the Muggle world and rarely had the opportunity to come into contact with wizards' thoughts about Muggles.

Draco looked at Harry with disdain. He thought Harry's enthusiasm for Muggle Studies was simply inexplicable.

In his opinion, Muggles are a group of ignorant and incompetent creatures who exist only to provide services and entertainment to wizards.

He didn't understand why Harry was interested in Muggles, and he was even more unwilling to listen to Harry talk about Muggles.

Amanda smiled tolerantly. She understood Harry's curiosity and knew Draco's prejudice against Muggles.

She felt that everyone had their own interests and opinions, and should respect each other's choices. She didn't want to cause an argument on this issue, nor did she want to cause a conflict between Draco and Harry.

Harry returned to discussing Divination, in which he seemed to have a sudden interest for some reason.

He wanted to learn how to predict the future through the stars and crystal balls.

Draco suddenly interrupted casually, "What's the use of divination? Those stars and crystal balls are just some nonsense. I think the real magic lies in our wands and spells."

Harry shook his head. He disagreed with Draco's point of view. In some respects, Harry could sometimes seem a little stubborn.

"Divination is not nonsense. It is an ancient and mysterious science. By observing the stars and crystal balls, we can understand more unknown mysteries."

Amanta noticed Harry's emotions, and she whispered, "Don't be angry, Harry, Draco just has his own ideas, and we shouldn't argue about this."

Harry nodded, he knew that Amanta was right, they were friends, they should respect and understand each other. Even if they had different opinions, they should live in peace.

Draco seemed to realize his own gaffe: "I'm sorry, Harry, I shouldn't have said that."

Harry shook his head and said, "It's okay, Draco, we are friends and should support and help each other."

Harry looked back at Draco and Amanta, and their eyes met for a moment.

They know that no matter what difficulties and challenges they will encounter in the future, they will face them together and overcome them together because they are friends.

The Hogwarts train was moving slowly, and the friction between the wheels and the rails echoed in the silent night sky.

The scenery outside the car window gradually became blurred, and the mountains in the distance were shrouded in darkness.

As the sky gradually darkened, the temperature in the carriage seemed to drop gradually, as if even the air had become cold. Although the lights in the aisle and on the luggage racks were on, they still seemed unable to provide them with a trace of warmth.

The three of them wrapped themselves tightly in their robes, trying to keep out the sudden cold.

Draco kept rubbing his hands together, and his lips turned a little purple.

Amanta also felt a chill coming over her, but she tried to stay calm.

Harry was already trembling, his teeth chattering.

"What's going on?" Draco asked, a hint of panic in his voice.

"I don't know, but it doesn't feel good," Amanta replied.

Although she said this, she already knew the answer in her heart - at the beginning of her third year, a Dementor boarded the Hogwarts Express, apparently on the mission of the Ministry of Magic, and was looking for the whereabouts of Sirius Black.

The speed of the train gradually began to slow down, and the three people's uneasy eyes began to wander. Then, the train suddenly stopped with a clatter, and then, all the lights suddenly went out.

"Damn it! What's going on?" Draco muttered.

Amanta looked out the window, and after her eyes adjusted to the darkness, she soon discovered that something seemed to be moving in the darkness, like a black shadow slowly passing by outside the car window.

Suddenly, a scream broke the silence in the carriage.

A girl screamed, "Outside! There's something outside!"

The three of them looked at each other and immediately looked out the window. When they looked closely, they saw a tall creature in a black robe slowly floating towards the train from the front.

"It's the Dementors," Draco whispered. "It's the guards from Azkaban."

Dementors are evil creatures that feed on the happiness and warmth of humans, and anyone they touch will fall into extreme fear and despair.

"How could they be here? They should be in Azkaban... Could it be..."

His voice was trembling, with a hint of fear in it.

"What?" Harry asked.

"Could it be that... there is something they are looking for here?"
