Harry Potter: Glory Bows to Me

Chapter 156 The Thestrals at Hogwarts

These Thestrals are different from the Malfoys' or the Ministry of Magic's Thestrals, in that they are open-top carriages.

Of course, most students could not see the Thestrals, but perhaps the influence of the Dementors was gradually decreasing. The students began to whisper as they looked at the carriages, and a faint buzzing sound began to be heard around them.

Harry also came close to Amanta and whispered, "Are these carriages also pulled by the Thestrals?"

"That's right." Amanta replied in a low voice.

She glanced at Harry's face and saw that his face began to turn from pale to rosy, and then she gradually felt relieved.

They quickly climbed into a carriage, and as soon as the door was closed, the carriage started moving by itself. The faint smell of straw and mold in the carriage immediately reminded Amanta of the Owl Shed, and she felt her tense nerves gradually begin to relax.

The carriage wobbled forward, and soon, two tall and imposing wrought iron gates appeared in front of them. On both sides of the gates were winged wild boar stone pillars, but these did not attract more of their attention.

"There are two Dementors, guarding the door."

Amanta looked from a distance and saw two hooded figures standing on either side of the gate.

She glanced at Harry with a hint of worry, and Harry's face turned pale again.

"Don't worry, I'm fine." He said in a low and vague voice.

Then he pulled the hood of his school cloak over his head, completely covering his entire head and face, and huddled himself in his seat.

As the carriage approached the gate, the suffocating feeling that had just escaped came over me again.

Amanta's nerves, which had just relaxed, tensed up again. She took a deep breath and held her breath. Fortunately, the carriage began to accelerate and soon left the two eerie figures behind them.

The carriage accelerated on the long uphill road, they were getting closer and closer to the castle, finally, the carriage stopped and they got off.

"You fainted, Harry?"

As soon as Amanta and the others got out of the car, they heard Neville's concerned greetings.

"I heard them say you fainted." Neville got out of the car in front of them and was now walking towards them from the stone steps leading to the castle.

He gave Harry an herb with concern: "I think smelling this will help you feel better."

Harry's face flushed with embarrassment and he hurriedly stuffed Neville's herbs into his pocket. Ever since Neville said "you fainted", many students around them cast curious glances at them.

Neville only noticed the situation around him at this time: "Sorry, Harry, I was too worried about you just now..."

"It's okay, Neville, I know." Harry said hurriedly, lowered his head, walked around them, and walked up the stairs.

Amanta said to Neville: "Harry is still in a bad mood."

"After all, the Dementors would bring back his worst memories..." she hinted.

Neville's face immediately tightened and he nodded hurriedly: "I understand."

"Don't worry too much, I think he will be fine in a while." Draco waved his hand.

They followed Harry up the stone steps leading to the castle when a gentle voice spoke from behind them.

"Kids, are you all right?"

Amanta looked back and saw Professor Lupin just getting out of the carriage, patting his patched robes, and looking up and shouting at them.

"Thanks to you, we are fine now."

Amanta replied.

Hearing this, Lupin nodded: "That's good. I'm very pleased to see that you are taking care of Harry."

They continued to follow the crowd and walked up the stone steps.

Draco glanced back with slight disdain at the patches on Lupin's robes and the tattered box he was carrying.

Then he whispered to Amanta, "I can't believe that Hogwarts would hire such a down-and-out professor."
