Harry Potter: Glory Bows to Me

Chapter 158 Snape and Lupin's Reunion

But the situation on Harry's side became increasingly grim.

Snape continued to scold Harry harshly: "Doesn't our famous savior Potter feel that his behavior is completely embarrassing for Slytherin? Oh... it's just a Dementor, so what? Where is our Potter's usual arrogance?"

Under Snape's sarcastic greeting, Harry's face became redder and redder, but he looked much healthier than the paleness he had just had.

"I think the Godfather is just... well, caring about Harry in his own special way," Draco commented.

Amanta pouted.

"I don't know if Harry can bear this concern."

But rather than worrying about Harry, they were more worried about their own ability to bear it.

When the two thought of this, their pace towards the Slytherin table instantly quickened a lot.

Perhaps Harry had not yet completely recovered from the influence of the Dementors, and he had no intention of confronting Snape. He just lowered his head, thinking about something.

And seeing that Harry showed no sign of resistance despite his attack, Snape looked at Harry again and ended his attack in a very good mood.

"Go ahead. As the dean, I can't help but worry about his silly students. I suggest you drink a bottle of Bafe Brain Wake-up Drink and don't do anything embarrassing at the opening banquet later."

"Well... uh, I'm much better now..." said Harry.

Perhaps to reassure Snape, Harry continued hesitantly, "I ate the chocolate the professor gave me, and I felt much better after that."

Snape stopped just as he was about to take a step forward.

"Professor?" Snape narrowed his eyes. "Which professor?"

"Um...our new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor," Harry replied uneasily.

After hearing what Harry said, Amanta's mouth twitched, and she said to Draco beside her: "It seems that Harry is finished this time."

Amanta knew the reason why Harry was uneasy at the moment - he probably felt that Snape had always been coveting the position of professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts, so he was extremely dissatisfied with every new professor.

But he still didn't know the past grudges between the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor and Snape...

"Hmph." Snape snorted. "Lupin?"

When he uttered the word Lupin, his face twitched violently beneath his sunken cheekbones, and an expression appeared on his face that could almost be described as hatred.

Amanta and Draco, who had already sat down at the Slytherin table, looked at each other.

"I've rarely seen this expression on my Godfather's face," Draco said.

"It's me, long time no see, Severus."

When the expression on Snape's face looked so dangerous that he looked like he was going to eat Harry alive, a gentle and slightly hoarse male voice came from the crowd, interrupting the tense atmosphere in time.

Everyone looked in the direction of the voice and saw a man with light brown hair and some graying hair pushing through the crowd and walking towards Snape and Harry carrying his worn-out suitcase.

Snape's eyes were almost narrowed into slits as he looked up and down at Lupin's clothes and face.

"Long time no see, Remus...it looks like you've been doing...well lately."

He paused deliberately when he said the last two words and looked at Lupin provocatively.

But Lupin had almost no reaction to Snape's sarcasm. He just sighed softly and said, "It's a long story, Severus. Let these students go to their seats. We can go to the professor's seat and talk slowly."

Snape seemed to be pleased with Lupin's miserable state.

His mood instantly improved again, and he raised the corners of his mouth: "Well, I just wanted to catch up with you, Remus."
