Harry Potter: Glory Bows to Me

Chapter 179 Welcome to my divination class

Amanta followed Harry up the ladder.

This was the strangest classroom she had seen since she came to Hogwarts. Or rather, this room did not look like a classroom at all, but rather like an old-fashioned tea house converted from an attic.

There were about twenty small round tables in the room, with bulging futons and printed armchairs beside them. Large crimson scarves were wrapped around the lamps, the curtains were drawn tightly, and everything in the room was shrouded in a hazy red light.

The room was so hot that it was hard to breathe, but soon, Amanta found the real reason for the suffocation -

A fire was blazing in a large fireplace not far away, and a copper teapot was placed on it, emitting an aroma that was so strong that it made people sick.

Besides this, every where in sight was filled with all sorts of divination supplies, and shelves lined the walls, crowded with dusty quills and candle stubs, aged playing cards and teapots, and crystal balls innumerable.

As Amanta looked around the room, the other students followed behind them, climbing the ladder one after another and arriving at this classroom with some strange features.

Harry withdrew his curious gaze at the rags and moved closer to Amanta.

"Where's the professor?"

"welcome……"

A chaotic voice sounded like a ghost, and almost everyone was startled.

Amanta looked in the direction of the sound and saw a strangely dressed woman slowly walking towards her from the shadows in the corner of the room.

Professor Trelawney came closer. In the light of the fireplace, she looked like a huge, shining insect. She was extremely thin, with two huge eyes on her thin face. A pair of even larger and thicker glasses hung on her face, making her dark pupils look a little scary.

She was wearing a thin, shiny shawl, with countless beads and metal chains hanging around her slender neck, and her arms and hands were covered with strings of bracelets and rings. Her thin body was draped with countless ornaments, so that at first glance, one could only notice these heavy jewelry.

"Sit down... my children..." Professor Trelawney said, her voice light and fluttering, as if it came from another world, "Sit down..."

After hearing her words, everyone woke up from their dream and looked for a seat to sit down.

Amanta, Harry, and Julius sat at a small round table.

The futons here are as soft as clouds to sit on, and also emit a strong fragrance, which, combined with the dim red light in the room, makes people drowsy.

"Welcome to my Divination class." Professor Trelawney walked to the fire and half-reclined in an easy chair. "I am Professor Trelawney. You may have never seen me before, because I often go to the chaotic and noisy campus environment, which easily makes my third eye blurry."

"What is the Third Eye?" Harry asked in a very low voice close to Amanta's ear.

Amanta shook her head.

Professor Trelawney does have a special gift for prophecy, but it is also common for her to cheat and talk nonsense on a daily basis.

Professor Trelawney elegantly adjusted her cape covered with metal flakes and continued, "You have chosen Divination, which is the most profound and mysterious subject in all magical arts."
