Harry Potter: Glory Bows to Me

Chapter 209: Greetings after returning to the auditorium

Professor McGonagall was frowning and handing over her handkerchief, but Hagrid took it and blew his nose loudly. Snape was sitting opposite them, looking like he had just swallowed a slug.

"Where can they go?... Buckbeak is a kind boy, I believe he will never hurt them..." Hagrid said with sobs.

"Don't worry." Professor McGonagall pushed up the glasses that were perched high on her nose. "Look at the bright side. At least we just tested it with a spell and Buckbeak has no signs of eating recently."

"Oh no!" Hagrid looked like he was about to faint. "No, don't say it. No way, there's no way..."

Snape made a short humming sound from his hooked nose.

"I advise you, big fool, to look for someone in the crowd instead of wiping your snot on Minerva's arm."

His sharp eyes looked past the noisy crowd in the auditorium and directly in the direction of Amanta and Draco.

Amanta immediately touched her nose guiltily.

What is coming will always come.

She silently stopped her steps on the Slytherin table and walked stiffly towards the professors' seats.

She had previously taken Draco and used an invisibility spell to sneak to the Room of Requirement to find the crown in order to delay the arrival of this moment.

After all, facing the professors' inquiries, they couldn't tell them truthfully that they were helping the mermaids in the Black Lagoon find the gem inlaid in the Ravenclaw crown, right?

But even if they didn't want to attract other people's attention, in fact, many students had already noticed their return, especially the group of third-year students who had just taken the Care of Magical Creatures class with them in the afternoon.

There was surprise and confusion on their faces.

"what happened?"

"what happens?"

Many Hufflepuff students had not yet finished eating their melons, and were gathering in twos and threes to find out what had happened.

"Isn't it about that hippogriff..."

"They're back?" Hagrid raised his tearful face and saw them from afar. He wiped his face with a handkerchief and ran over, his footsteps making the floor creak.

Snape followed him, his black robes rustling behind him.

"That's great... You're all fine. I knew it. Buckbeak won't hurt you. That's great..."

Hagrid sobbed. He had tried to imitate what he had done just now and bury his hairy head in Amanta's shoulder, but Amanta was nowhere near as tall as Professor McGonagall. He realized something was wrong halfway through bending, so he turned around and buried his face in his handkerchief, blowing his nose loudly and hard.

Amanta couldn't help but frown as the wet heat from Hagrid's body hit her.

"It's okay. We're all fine. Don't worry." She answered sincerely. "Where's Buckbeak? Is he back?"

"Oh... that's good. Buckbeak is fine. When it came back, it was wet, as if it had fallen into the water. I thought, I thought..."

Hagrid paused in the middle of his speech, his thick beard bobbing up and down.

Amanta reached out and stroked his shoulders and arms up and down, hoping that this action would simply soothe him.

She could see that Hagrid was genuinely worried about them. In the school, the person who cared about them most genuinely was probably Hagrid.

It's just that he was a little reckless and naive which was not in line with his age, which caused him a lot of trouble.
