Harry Potter: Glory Bows to Me

Chapter 25: The Terrible Slytherin Dormitory

Gemma walked in front of Amanta and led her into the door leading to the girls' dormitory.

"Oh, I don't know what to say, but you really are... I mean, you're incredible to me."

“In every aspect,” Jima added.

The two walked forward along a winding classical stone bridge. There were many branches on both sides of the stone bridge, leading to each dormitory. There was a black sign in front of each dormitory door with the house number and the name of the student living there written on it.

"If I remember correctly, the first-year dormitory is nearby."

"By the way, since Slytherin has the fewest students, all our Slytherin dormitories are double rooms, but..."

Jima seemed a little embarrassed.

Amanta guessed something from her expression: "I'm in the same dormitory with Pansy?"

Jima hesitated and said, "Yes."

But she quickly added: "There are still many empty dormitories in Slytherin. If necessary, I can help you apply for a change of dormitory."

"No, I think I can handle it."

Amanta shrugged. After passing dozens of intersections, they arrived at the door of dormitory 221.

"what?"

Jima cried out in surprise.

Because there is only one name written on the doorplate of dormitory No. 221.

Below the dormitory number, it said Amanta Merlin, and behind it was a black text.

Jima came closer and took a closer look, and after a moment he came to a conclusion.

"It looks like it was smeared with ink or something, so it's no longer visible... How willful."

It was obvious that Pansy, who returned to the dormitory first, didn't want to share a dormitory with Amanta, and now no one knew where she had gone.

Amanta spread her hands.

"I don't really mind... but if that's the case, it's fine to live alone."

She said goodbye to Gemma, who hurried down the corridor:

"Although I really want to go back to the dormitory and have a good sleep, as the prefect, I have to go find out where Pansy went first."

"Good luck."

Amanta pushed open the silver snake-shaped door handle.

To her surprise, the Slytherin dormitory was surprisingly simple.

The rough gray stone wall had not been polished and was full of the roughness of the original stone. In the middle of the stone wall was an unlit black fireplace. On the other side of the wall were two huge transparent windows that could see the bottom of the Black Lake, just like the public lounge.

In addition, there are two quaint four-poster wooden beds on both sides of the room. The four corners of the beds are hung with green silk curtains printed with the Slytherin emblem, and the bed sheets are embroidered with silver thread - this is the only decent furniture in this dormitory.

The environment here is no less gloomy than the public lounge. As soon as you walk in, you feel a chill deep into your bones.

Compared to the public lounge which is called a dungeon but looks magnificent, this place is more in line with the atmosphere of a dungeon.

But these are nothing.

Because when Amanta walked in, the first thing she saw was the mess in the room, with her things scattered everywhere - and all of them had been ravaged.

The suitcases that were originally placed next to the bed were violently pulled open, and there was nothing inside, nothing was spared.

The newly bought parchment was crumpled into a ball, the bristles of several quills were plucked and broken, her clothes were scratched all over, and her textbooks were torn into pages and thrown in various corners of the room - the same was true for all kinds of other things.

It goes without saying that this was most likely Pansy's doing.

She frowned and held out her wand: "Reparo—"

All the small pieces in the room flew up with a bang, even under the bed. All the fragments swirled around her, stretching and pieced together until they returned to their original appearance, and finally all flew into the open suitcase.

If Harry were here and saw this scene, he would be shocked again.

Amanta sighed.

She actually couldn't understand why Pansy was so against her.

Because of Draco?

Not to mention that she and Draco are just ordinary friends, no matter what, it wouldn't go to this extent, right?

Precisely because she couldn't understand this, she felt a sense of being detached from Pansy's groundless jealousy.

After all, these behaviors are really too childish and low-level, aren't they?

But since she dared to do that, she should be punished accordingly.

She used a spell to light the fireplace, and the warmth of the fire temporarily drove away the chill in the bedroom.

She sat in front of the fireplace and wrote a letter by the firelight.

- Dear Dean Ossena:

- I have arrived safely at Hogwarts and have enrolled. Everything is fine. I hope you can take the opportunity to let Sister Karina know that I am safe.

- Love you, Amanta Merlin

She folded the envelope and put it aside, intending to give it to Bertha in the morning.

After doing all this, Amanta was a little exhausted. Today's journey and speech had consumed too much of her energy. She needed a good sleep.

Although the dormitory was simple, the bedding was comfortable and she fell into a deep sleep as soon as she touched the pillow.

……

Amanta walked into the auditorium with the Transfiguration textbook "Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration" and the letter she wrote yesterday tucked inside.

Harry and Draco were already sitting at the Slytherin table.

Draco was holding up the latest issue of the Daily Prophet and reading it with great interest. Harry was still concentrating on his meal, occasionally looking up at Draco's newspaper.

Apparently, their combination caused a lot of talk among people from other colleges, and many people looked at Harry with curious and strange eyes.

Seeing Amanta's appearance, many people immediately cast suspicious and fearful glances at her, and whispered to those around them.

A few words floated past her ears.

"He has shown such a strong magical talent right after entering school. He must be the future Dark Lord..."

"The darkest hour of the wizarding world is about to come. I have to write a letter to inform my cousin and ask them to prepare to move to seek refuge..."

It seemed that word of her actions in the Slytherin common room yesterday had spread throughout Hogwarts.

There was also someone who said a word or two for her, even if his voice revealed a lack of confidence.

"Don't think so badly... I heard someone say that she gave a speech in Slytherin yesterday. It seemed like she was asking them to stop following the Dark Lord or something..."

"Don't forget that she has Slytherin people following her. Just based on this, she must be..."

"What is it for sure?"

Amanta stopped and leaned over with a sincere look on her face.

The two students who were talking just now were shocked all over, and instantly separated to the sides with a dark look on their faces.

Amanta recognized them as Seamus Finnigan and Dean Thomas, the first-year students who had arrived yesterday.

She wasn't surprised; after all, she couldn't reach out and cover their mouths.

Being afraid of her is not a bad thing.

As for the rest, she will prove herself with her actions.
