Harry Potter: Glory Bows to Me

Chapter 273 is an interesting Christmas chapter

Time flies, and in the blink of an eye, Christmas is coming.

The Christmas atmosphere has quietly arrived in Hogwarts. The castle is filled with the sweet aroma of gingerbread and honey candy. Students begin to discuss their holiday arrangements enthusiastically, looking forward to the arrival of the holiday.

But these are not so important in Amanta's eyes.

Or rather, it's not that important.

She'd been "running into" Astoria everywhere lately - she was pretty much everywhere.

She saw Astoria pretending to pass by casually after the Charms class, and then skipping after Draco, calling him "Brother" sweetly.

At dinner yesterday, Astoria deliberately sat next to Draco, stirring the pumpkin soup with a small spoon, and complained to Draco in a soft voice: "Today's Defense Against the Dark Arts class is so difficult, brother, can you teach me?"

In the Slytherin common room, Astoria was always within Draco's sight, either asking questions or looking for an excuse to get closer.

Amanta felt somewhat unhappy watching these scenes.

Of course she knew she shouldn't care about this, but - it was really annoying.

Especially since Astoria didn't just pester Draco, she also always caused trouble for him.

——One time after Potions class, they passed each other in the corridor, and Astoria glanced at her lightly with a strange smile on her lips.

"I heard that you are very good at potions. After all... you are not like us real Slytherins who have received the most formal education since childhood."

Another time in the corridor, she passed by and overheard Astoria muttering to a few Slytherin girls.

"She is just an outsider after all. Even if she is a descendant of Merlin, what can she change?"

Astoria showed an innocent smile in front of the others and sighed softly: "Brother is so good to her. After all, she has no family support. She should be grateful for being taken care of by brother, right?"

Amanta watched coldly, and she already knew in her heart that Astoria was a green tea.

However, she didn't intend to argue with a first-grade girl.

At least, not yet.

Meanwhile, Luna had been appearing around Harry more often lately.

Several times, she suddenly appeared from the corner of the corridor and said lightly: "Harry, I found a new magical creature, you must listen to it!"

The day before yesterday, she came to the Slytherin table at dinner time, holding a bag of strange candies, and said to Harry seriously: "The taste of this candy can make you see stars, do you want to try it?"

Harry stuffed the roast meat into his mouth while listening to her description of those magical creatures. A smile appeared on the corner of his mouth unconsciously: "Luna, you know? You are really weird."

Luna opened her light-colored eyes wide and thought seriously: "Oh? But isn't being weird also a kind of cuteness?"

Harry was choked and coughed several times.

Neville and Cedric were watching Harry's blushing face and eating voraciously next door. They tried their best to hold back their laughter, and their facial muscles were cramping.

-----------------

During dinner that day, Draco put down his teacup gently and glanced at Amanta and Harry calmly, as if stating something ordinary: "When do you plan to go back this Christmas?"

Harry looked up, still chewing a piece of pumpkin pie, his eyes lit up: "Of course it's the first day of the holiday! The Malfoy family's Christmas party is simply amazing! The foie gras and red wine stewed beef last time were so delicious that I dream about it..."

Amanta held her forehead and resisted the urge to roll her eyes: "Harry, are you willing to go because of the food?"

"What else?" Harry said confidently, "Although Malfoy Manor is a bit too big, I have to say that their chef elves are really amazing!"

Draco looked at Harry's ungraceful eating manner, frowned slightly, and revealed a look of disgust: "Harry, it would be better if you could eat less at the banquet and make yourself look a little more elegant."

Harry rolled his eyes. "Sorry, I don't care about image, I only care about food."

Amanta smiled softly, and finally felt a little relieved: "How are the dances for this year's banquet arranged? Will it be the same as before?"

Draco nodded: "Father and Mother have always attached great importance to the ball, and there shouldn't be much change this year."

Harry stopped chewing immediately, his expression was subtle: "...Isn't it going to be another dance?"

Draco raised an eyebrow, "Of course. As a distinguished guest at the Malfoy Manor banquet, you must be prepared."

Harry covered his face in pain: "Oh my god, I'm most afraid of this."

Amanta chuckled and patted Harry's shoulder: "It's okay, you can let Luna teach you this time. Her dance steps are very smooth."

Harry looked up suddenly, his face getting even redder: "W-what?!"

Draco had a "you're on your own" expression on his face as he watched Harry frantically pour himself a glass of pumpkin juice.

As they discuss their Christmas plans, a giant owl flies in from a high window of the Great Hall and lands in front of Draco, bearing a letter from Romania.

Draco opened the envelope, his eyes swept over the letter, and the corners of his lips curled up slightly.

"A letter from the Dragon Farm," he said simply.

Amanta raised her eyebrows: "About Norma?"

Draco nodded. "They said that Norma has adapted well in the dragon training farm and her personality has become more aggressive than before. However, they still remember my photo."

"Of course, you and Hagrid watched it grow up when it was little...what about me? What about me?" Harry came closer.

"Maybe I can go and see it when I have the chance in the future." Amanta said softly.

Draco looked at the letter, his eyes softened for a moment: "There will be a chance."

-----------------

At the other end of the Slytherin table, Julius Hoffman sat in the shadows, tapping his fingertips on the tabletop, his eyes cast indifferently on the group of people happily discussing their Christmas plans.

Amanta, Draco, Harry, and their SO group members gathered together and talked with relaxed smiles on their faces.

Even Luna and Hermione were part of their circle now.

...what an irony.

He lowered his eyes slightly, and a faint sneer appeared at the corner of his lips.

This group of people seemed more difficult to divide than he had imagined.

He originally thought that, under his precise planning, Amanta had been shaken enough to become suspicious of her "friend".

But her mood swings were not as dramatic as he expected.

She still discussed Christmas plans with Draco and Harry, still showing a certain intimate trust in them.

He should have been impatient, but he wasn't.

——This is more interesting.

A relationship that can be easily torn apart is worthless.

Only truly deep-rooted emotions, when destroyed and torn apart bit by bit, are pleasurable enough.

He gently stroked the rim of the silver cup in his hand, his eyes dim.

"Christmas party at Malfoy Manor...yeah?"

He didn't care about those complicated aristocratic banquets, but this time, he became interested in the occasion.

After all, a carefully designed conspiracy is best staged in the most gorgeous scene.

Draco's eyes, Amanta's temptation, Harry's innocence... their relationship may not be on the verge of breaking down yet.

But that doesn't mean he can't speed up the process.

Julius took a sip of his tea nonchalantly, tilted his head slightly, looked at the silver Christmas decoration hanging in the middle of the auditorium, and smiled slightly.

This is going to be a really fun Christmas.
