Harry Potter: Glory Bows to Me
Chapter 296 Individual Results of Final Exam
The days passed quickly, and a few weeks later, the exam week at Hogwarts came to an end.
The final exam is finally over.
The students walked out of the last exam tiredly, breathing a sigh of relief, and the corridors were filled with cheers or groans.
Amanta rubbed her temples and leaned tiredly on the sofa in the Slytherin common room, holding the review materials for the last subject in her hand.
"it is finally over……"
Harry collapsed directly on the sofa, his hands behind his head, with an expression of having survived a disaster.
"I don't want to study anymore," he wailed. "The theory exam is killing me! My brain is fried."
"That's the consequence of your lack of effort." Draco walked past, put down his book, and looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
Harry covered his face. "I don't want to hear anything about exams anymore. Go to sleep! I want to sleep!"
-----------------
A few days later, the results were announced, and in the Slytherin common room, all the little snakes were discussing the report cards enthusiastically.
Some people cheered, some people wailed and cried.
The atmosphere is like opening presents at Christmas—except that some people get surprises, while others get nightmares.
Harry and Draco have already spread out their report cards, but Amanta has not made any move yet.
"Amanta, what about yours?" Harry looked at her parchment curiously while chewing pumpkin cake.
Amanta glanced at them, slowly unfolded the report card, and lingered on the scores on it.
Harry rolled his eyes and waved lazily, "Okay, Amanta, we know you'll be number one."
"Speaking of first place..." Draco sat next to Amanta, holding his report card in one hand and playing with his quill with the other hand boredly, "Should we take a look at our respective grades?"
He raised his eyebrows and smiled proudly: "This time, maybe I will be the first."
"Okay, come on then." Amanta raised an eyebrow and placed her report card on the table.
-----------------
Final grades announced:
Amanta Merlin
Charms: O+ (beyond perfection, special bonus from the professor)
Potions: O (Perfect)
Defense Against the Dark Arts: O (Perfect)
Transfiguration: O (Perfect)
Astronomy: A (pass)
Divination: E (Excellent)
History of Magic: O (Perfect)
-----------------
When Amanta's transcript was presented to the two of them.
In an instant, the world fell into a brief silence.
—and then Harry's howl.
"You, you...are you human?"
Amanta raised an eyebrow: "Haven't you always known this?"
Harry held his head in grief, "Why? How come you can get an O in History of Magic? And an O in Potions! Even Transfiguration and Defense Against the Dark Arts are Os! And what on earth is this O+... I've never seen such a score before!"
Draco also stared at her results, his eyebrows twitching slightly: "...How on earth did you get a perfect score in Charms?"
Amanta said calmly: "The professor said that my paper exceeded the standard of ordinary students and expanded the application of theory, which deserves extra points."
Draco: "..."
"…Only astronomy got an A." Draco finally found a balance and said slowly.
"Don't mind my astronomy!" Amanta gave him a cold look.
Harry smiled gleefully: "I finally found something you're not good at!"
Amanta looked calmly at the only "A" on the transcript, trying her best to look unimpressed.
"Astronomy itself is not scientific."
Harry: "...you make it sound like magic itself is scientific."
Draco snorted and flipped through his report card, his eyes still fixed on Amanta's perfect score in Charms: "Professor's special bonus... humph, that's really exaggerated."
Harry immediately slammed the table and laughed, "Hahahahahaha, Draco, you actually have come to this day!"
Draco narrowed his eyes, glanced at him, and said in a flat tone: "Harry, if you laugh again, I will make you sleep on the sofa in the common room tonight."
Harry's laughter died down.
Amanta just looked at them calmly, without any intention of explaining.
She knew that the professor of Charms believed that her talent in this course surpassed that of all other students and even some professors, and that she might reach the level of a master of Charms in the future.
As for Potions, Snape had long acknowledged her talent, but due to his personality, he would never praise her in front of her.
As for divination...
"You actually got an E in Divination?" Harry looked at Amanta's transcript in surprise.
Amanta shrugged calmly, "This course is no different from nonsense to me. As for the grade, I think it all depends on Professor Trelawney's mood."
Harry laughed: "But didn't you make Professor Trelawney praise you for the whole class last time because of your fabricated 'Seventy-seven Ways I Dreamed of Harry's Death'? How come you only got an E in the final exam?"
Amanta held her forehead with her hand: "... probably because she asked me to 'keep making up stories for a long time', and I just couldn't make up any more."
Draco sneered, "Divination? Waste of time, watch me."
Then he spread out his report card.
-----------------
Draco Malfoy
Charms: O (Perfect)
Potions: O (Perfect)
Defense Against the Dark Arts: O (Perfect)
Transfiguration: O (Perfect)
Astronomy: E (Excellent)
Divination: E (Excellent)
History of Magic: A (Pass)
-----------------
Harry looked at Draco's report card and his mouth twitched. "You only got an A in History of Magic. Are you so proud of it?"
Draco raised his chin, as if it was a matter of course: "Of course, I didn't review much at all."
Harry rolled his eyes. "Oh, so you mean to say that the grade A is entirely due to your talent?"
Draco: "To be precise, this is the self-cultivation of being the heir of the Malfoy family."
Amanta raised an eyebrow: "Divination is also E?"
Draco shrugged nonchalantly. "Thanks to Harry, I just made it up and Trelawney actually believed it."
He turned to look at Harry: "After all, you are Trelawney's biological son."
"What the hell!" Harry choked on his own saliva, "Stop trying to make connections with me!"
"Don't get excited, Harry." Amanta glanced at him, "He just said that you are Trelawney's 'destined child'."
"Uh." Harry paused.
Draco shrugged, as if it had nothing to do with him. "I just made my exam answers a little... dramatic."
Harry was immediately alert: "So...what did you make up?"
Draco smiled even more deeply: "For example... 'I saw a savior with black hair and green eyes in the crystal ball. His fate is full of tragedy, and he will eventually wander between darkness and light...'"
Harry's eyes widened. "Wait a minute, why does this sound so familiar?"
"And then I added -" Draco lowered his voice and said mysteriously, "-'He will face countless life-and-death crises, but in the end, his fate will be decided by a Slytherin platinum snake.'"
The air was silent for three full seconds.
Then--
Harry slammed the table and stood up: "Draco! You are flattering yourself!"
Draco chuckled. "See, Trelawney believed it, didn't she?"
Harry was stunned, and after a while he managed to say, "She just gave you E like that?"
Draco waved his hand: "I also added some other things, such as - 'In the illusion deep in my heart, I saw myself standing in front of the dark wheel of fate, and the savior was looking at me tremblingly...'"
Harry's expression was complicated: "...and then?"
Draco curled his lips and said slowly in a low voice: "Then what I wrote was... I saw the shadow of the savior whispering...'Master Malfoy is so handsome.'"
Amanta: “…”
Harry: "..."
The two fell into a strange silence for a while.
Harry slammed the table. "What the hell is this! You actually used this to deceive Trelawney!"
Draco leaned back on the sofa leisurely, his expression full of pride: "Well, it seems that she believes it."
"She believed it?!" Harry was struck by lightning. "You told her that I praised you for being handsome in your divination dream? She actually believed it?!"
"You know, she's very good at misinterpreting everything." Draco pursed his lips in satisfaction, "She said that this means 'fate has closely linked us together'. Maybe one day in the future, I will play a crucial role in your 'path of destiny'."
Harry's expression froze: "...No, no, no! I'm going to find her to cancel this prophecy!"
Amanta looked at him expressionlessly: "She may have seen your 'deep bond' at the bottom of the teacup."
Harry held his forehead in despair: "No, no, I refuse to accept this future!"
Draco admired his collapse with pleasure, and then ruthlessly finished him off.
"Don't worry, my divination is not all about you. I also made up one about Amanta."
Amanta looked at him coldly, her tone calm: "What did you say?"
Draco showed a slightly evil smile: "'In my dream, I saw a blonde girl. She was holding an ancient scepter and standing at the crossroads of fate. Behind her were countless entangled futures...'"
Amanta looked calm: "That sounds reasonable."
Draco continued, his tone rising subtly: "--'Then she turned around, looked straight at me, moved her lips, and whispered...'"
Amanta narrowed her eyes slowly: "...and then?"
Draco raised his lips slightly and uttered the last few words slowly: "'Draco, stop looking in the mirror.'"
Amanta: “…”
Harry: "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Amanta took a deep breath, as if suppressing some impulse: "Draco."
Draco's smile widened: "What's wrong, dear?"
Amanta slowly raised her wand, her tone calm yet dangerous, "Hold still, and let me relieve some of the stress from exam week."
Harry just sighed silently: "I really...why hasn't this course been cancelled yet?"
"The purpose of this course is to give us something to laugh at," Amanta concluded coldly.
When it was Harry's turn, he took a deep breath, as if he was about to face the cruelest judgment in his life, and slowly unfolded his report card.
-----------------
Harry Potter
Charms: E (Excellent)
Potions: A (pass)
Defense Against the Dark Arts: O (Perfect)
Transfiguration: E (Excellent)
Astronomy: A (pass)
Divination: O (Excellent)
History of Magic: D (Fail)
-----------------
Amanta stared at the "O" of Divination and was silent for several seconds before speaking: "... Divination O? Are you serious?"
Harry looked proud: "Of course, Professor Trelawney said I was 'gifted'."
Draco immediately showed an extremely disgusted expression and rolled his eyes mercilessly: "She said you are the 'destined child', not the 'gifted'."
"That's about right." Harry waved his hand, looking nonchalant. "Anyway, she said my clairvoyance was 'unprecedented' and that my 'soul resonated with the universe'."
Draco sneered: "Well, the translation is - 'You are particularly suitable for nonsense'."
Harry continued to wave his hands: "Whatever it is, I did very well in the exam."
He made no effort to conceal his pride: "In addition to my various miserable futures, I also made up a bunch of nonsense like 'fuzzy black shadows swirling', 'something whispering', and 'a hand reaching out from the fog'." He shrugged.
Amanta: “…”
She couldn't help but pat Harry on the shoulder, the corner of her mouth twitching: "You got an O by pretending to be a ghost, you are quite capable."
Harry raised his eyebrows proudly: "Thank you for the compliment."
However, looking at Harry's report card, Amanta sighed: "But seriously, Harry, why are you still at this level in Potions?"
Harry immediately shrank when he heard that. The pride on his face quickly disappeared, and turned into a guilty smile: "Uh... well..."
Draco sneered mercilessly: "Because he doesn't understand what the Godfather is talking about."
Amanta spread her hands: "But the fact that you got an A shows that you understand a little bit."
"Not really," Harry nodded. "I find that if I just silently imitate Amanta, I don't do so badly on the test."
Draco sneered: "So all your Potions grades were obtained by copying Amanta's operations?"
Harry was silent for a second, then shrugged. "I'd rather call it 'precision reference'."
Amanta: “…”
Draco added coldly: "The Godfather has made it very clear. It's just a problem of your talent."
Harry glared at him. "Say that again?"
"Talent-questions," Draco repeated slowly.
Harry grabbed a pillow and threw it at him, but Draco dodged it easily with a wicked smile on his face.
"Okay, okay, stop it." Amanta rubbed her brows helplessly. "The results are out, there's nothing to worry about. Anyway, there will be another chance next semester."
Draco crossed his arms and looked at Harry arrogantly: "Yeah, no matter how hard you try, your Potions grade won't be higher than A next time."
Harry: "...Draco, just wait!"
